Perfect location to area. Comfortable and pleasant service. Food was not bad but not up to expectations for a B&B.

The room description stated there was a "private bath". As Paul Harvey would say," here's the rest of the story". The bathroom was down the hall. Yes private, but not "IN" the room. I learned my lesson. You get exactly what you pay for. Otherwise the hotel was fine, but the bathroom brought the experience way down.

We wanted a getaway to celebrate my birthday, so we chose St. Augustine. To our surprise it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The St. Francis B&B was a delightful place. The people were extremely helpful, friendly and most accommodating. The breakfast, afternoon drinks, etc. and evening coffee and dessert were wonderfu and delicious. We loved […] the sights in St. Augustine, not sure if the Fountain of Youth did anything for us but it was a great experience and interesting. St Francis Inn is really nice.Used the hotel address with our GPS and was easily found. Might have been hard to find without GPS in the dark. It was within walking distance to most everything we wanted to see. The breakfast was really good. We had fresh strawberry soup among other things.Yum!! Nice quiet area in the historic area of town. Our first experience with a B&B. Charming historic hotel built in 1791. (Didn't meet the ghosts!!) Wonderful staff were helpful with tourist suggestions and local restaurants. Bistro de Leon was exceptional. Breakfast was delicious. Social hour drinks, appetizers and nightly dessert went above our expectations. Coffee, tea, fruit water and hot chocolate […] available at all hours. Room decorated nicely and was clean. Fireplace helped keep us warm on the chilly nights. The only negatives were the small bathroom and small sink area. However, you have to keep in mind that the house was built in 1791 and just wonder what the room would have been used for then. Charm vs. minor inconvenience for two nights and charm wins for me! We had the Courtyard room which means we had a private entrance from the garden area with lovely plants, tables and a small pond/fountain. Bikes are available from the Inn but it was chilly and rainy and we didn't get to use them. I'd love to go back as one day in St. Augustine isn't enough to fully explore the area. もっと読む

e upgraded our room b/c we didnt want to walk up 3 flights to our room..we got the Saffron suite..for an xtra $ nite..and it was on the ground floor..the room was amazing but very cold, drafty old house..it was too bad b/c the breakfast was great and the wine hour was amazing.We had a working fireplace and they provided a log every nite for us..;)..loved […] that xtra touch.. もっと読む

What a lovely place to stay! Wonderful amenities, blocks from the main section of old St. Augustine. B&B has a great court yard, and is an old home from the 1700s. Amenities include a chef cooked breakfast, happy hour and dessert each night. Wonderful staff and cozy rooms.

We had a great time at the St. Francis. The food was great. They even had free wine, beer, and cheese and snacks in the afternoon. Coffee,water, and hot chocolate 24/7. The staff was very helpful and the Inn is very nice and well maintained. We liked the location better than the Inns in the walking/shopping district. Not as commercial feeling.

This hotel was the epitome of quaint. My wife and I were very happy with the accommodations. I would tell anyone planning trip there to stay at this Inn.

The bathroom for our room was down the hall and was really not good for us. We are a bit more private and having people walking in the hallway while you are half dressed wasn't relly for us. The bathroom was really small as well so it was really difficult to get dressed or dry off in there. The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful.

What a pleasant B&B! The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful; the room was very comfortable; the location couldn't have been better; and the everyone on the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The only negatives were the August heat and humidity, but I'm pretty sure the St. Francis Inn had little control over the weather...although the good saint […] did have a close connection with nature. Unikt historisk hotel fint og nænsomt renoveret med gamle ting. Hyggeligt og romantisk. Eneste men er at værelserne er lidt små. Super beliggenhed i roligt område i den gamle historiske del af St Augustine kun et par gader fra vandet. Gåafstand til flere gode restaurenter. St Francis Inn lavede den bedste lille morgenmadsbuffet vi nogensinde har fået. […] Udsøgt og lækkert, det meste hjemmelavet. Ligeledes de snacks der var til rådighed hver eftermiddag.
