We were very disappointed in our stay. The staff was rude at the front desk upon check-in. Housekeeping didn't come to clean the room until around 4pm- which is right when we came back in from the beach, golfing, etc. We often had to turn them away because of the timing. The rooms themselves had very little storage for clothes. We are the kind of family […] that likes to unpack suitcases and place clothes into the closet and dresser. Due to the lack of storage, we were creative in placing our clothes in places which in turn led to us leaving some of our clothes in one of the cabinets (and yes I know that was careless of us). We realized this as soon as we arrived home and immediately called the hotel and were informed that they would call housekeeping and housekeeping would call me back ASAP. That was two weeks ago. I called everyday for a week- asking to speak to housekeeping, a manager, a desk manager. No one was ever "available to take my call" but would call me back ASAP. After two weeks I have given up- but I am not surprised- this was typical of the customer service that we had the entire stay. もっと読む

Convenient to highway but not very close to downtown or university. Only nearby restaurants were fast food. Hotel itself was comfortable and good value

This facility was clean, just off I-68, and had good service. The room(s) are clean and well taken care of, however, I was somewhat upset that there were not heavier drapes/curtains for the window of my room. This is our favorite hotel when we come to visit our daughter at WVU. The rooms are large and clean. Indoor pool is nice in winter and the breakfast is great. Within walking distance to Sheetz, Kroger, and Arbys.

Convient location to WVU Downtown campus. Room/Suite was roomy and clean. Breakfast buffet was good. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice, clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff! Comfortable beds, nice amenities. Not too far away from WVU campus (but maybe not the most convenient). Worth the drive across town for the value.

The Springhill Suites in Morgantown was excellent! We were in Morgantown for my 5 yr old neices surgery and only stayed the night before the surgery but while there the staff were very friendly, room comfortable and clean and the breakfast delicious. Springhill Suites by Marriott in Morgantown, WV, was our oasis. The kids were tired, we were tired, and all we wanted was a nice, clean, comfortable stay. That's exactly what we got. We liked it so well, we stayed there another night on our trip back through West Virginia. Also, absolutely great breakfast!

Breakfast was from 6:30 until 9:30 AM, but when we got to the lobby at 9:00 all of the hot food was gone and we were told it was to late to make more. Second morning was ok when I got there at 8:00 and took food back upstairs while the rest of my family got ready. This was a nice hotel but there are no good restaurants near it, just fast food chains. We had to go to the next exit for dinner, only about 5 minutes away though. The hotel and our room was very nice, clean, very comfy - loved the extra space - the sitting area. The only negative was when we went down for coffee before we checked out, the maid went […] into our room even though we had the door locked. This was taken up with management, however, since the room was paid for the day before he could do nothing. That was not the reason I mentioned the room being opened but to let Housekeeping know this was not a practice I am aware of. But all in all, nice, clean hotel with friendly employees. Clean suite, but space was a little tight due to oddly shaped rooms. Breakfast was decent, but fewer options than similar breakfasts at other hotels. The area where the food is small and quickly gets crowded.

Upon arrival @ 145 am. The clerk was very nice and warm. Everything was ready to go. The rooms were very clean. The beds were super soft. The breakfast was very nice. It was a little crowded, so the food went fast and we had to wait a little. But that was not a problem. Maybe they could add a second waffle maker. I usually do the Hampton Inn everywhere and they are fine but the room design at the Springhill Suites makes a significant contribution to your comfort. It will be my pick when available, well done.

The location was easy to find and the room was very nice. The only problem was that we stayed on a Saturday night, and there were people going up and down the halls laughing and talking loudly all night long. Kept waking me up. the hotel is adequate for a family stay in morgantown. we were in for a wvu game and the hotel was close enough to everything without being in the middle of everything. comfy king bed, decent rate & breakfast. unfortunately, the hot tub was out of order during our stay, and we could not move to another marriott hotel nearby as it was sold out for the […] home game weekend. also disappointing, by my own fault for not asking, there was no elliptical in the workout area. the pool is rather small, but if not overcrowded, sufficient and heated properly. breakfast was nice, but should have more than one attendant on a weekend, especially when sold out. had to wait for eggs, then for meat. nothing was ready all at the same time, but it was not the attendant's fault, she was the only one doing everything! i would stay here again if back in the area, only if the hot tub is operational & the rate is significantly cheaper than the fairfield, as they have the elliptical i seek, and has closer access to shopping/restaurants. もっと読む

The hotel was easy to find as it is located right off of Rte 68. The accommodations were above what we expected, except that the room was snug. There wasn't much room to walk around the beds, but the extra sitting room made up for that. There was also a nice sleeper sofa in the sitting room to help accommodate our 5th person.

We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable this hotel was. It exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness and comfort.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool was small but perfect temperature. The continental breakfast was a little sparse.

The beds were so comfortable! There was a small seating area w/a little kitchenette area. Nice, big TV. The FREE breakfast was good, we made our own belgian waffles. I would definitely stay here again.

Well appointed room furnishings. Extremely comfortable mattresses! Better than average breakfast bar with enough choices to please anyone. Restaurants closeby. Very nice hotel!

Great place to stay. Love this hotel. If you stay in Morgantown stay here. Even though it is not right near downtown or WVU it is a great place to stay.

EXTREMELY CLEAN THROUGHOUT! The BEST value!! Will be staying here again and again while visiting my son at WVU (which is only a few minute drive). Their free breakfast was GREAT (fresh poured belgium waffles) and they had a huge variety (eggs, sausage, bagels, fruit, yogurt, cereal and more)

We have four children and this hotel accomodated all of us very nicely. The room was clean and very confortable.

We stayed here en route to our destination with 3 adults and two tall teenagers. The room was not a suite technically--just a wall separating a sitting room. Nonetheless, it was sufficient space for an overnight stay. The room was great, the bathroom was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the hot tub was cool by the time we got in it. I had read this in another review and was greatly surprised--just the shear translucent curtains that are the first layer in most hotel rooms. This hotel was VERY CLEAN. I travel a lot and I am very picky. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the entire room was. The room was very comfortable. I will definetely be staying here again. The suite was great for working and relaxing. Bedding is great!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The "hot" portion of the breakfast buffet could have offered more than two options, but overall we would stay there again.

Hotel was well-located, clean, comfortable, and cozy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great breakfast and even cookies/cheese tray mid-day. I would definately stay here again.

The hotel was a bit more than I wanted to spend but it is clean and hospitable. Continental breakfast was extensive.
