"Acceptable for the price"
Night desk clerk on arrival gave us very unclear directions about where to park and how to find our room. [It was in another building, around the back!] We managed, but it would have been nice if he was clearer. We concluded that he really didn't know where the room was, because he was new to his job. Cleanliness of the room was ok, but the walkway […] outside the room and the steps down to the room were never swept the four days we were there. [Our room was numbered 242, but it was below-grade, so you entered it via a set of steps going down to a tunnel-like passageway. The 'view' from the room was of a retaining wall and the dirty walkway.] ]There is no central air, and it was HOT while we there, so a loud window air conditioner was kind of a detriment to sleeping, but at least it didn't cycle on and off, just blasted the whole time, so you could adjust to it - kind of like white noise. Our maintenance staff is working diligently in getting the walkways and stairs up to the standards we expect. I am sorry that they were not while you were here. Our continental breakfast currently consists of coffee, juice, milk, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, toast, and English muffins.
