アフィニア マンハッタン (Affinia Manhattan)

ペンシルバニアと迷って、こちらにしましたが、大正解でした。とにかく、部屋に明かりがたくさんあって、薄暗ーい海外ホテルの常識を覆しました。いつも、電灯持参なのですが、ここではまったく不用でした。部屋も広めで、キッチンが使えるのはとってもよく、食材を買い込んでほとんど自炊できました。確かに、元の建物が古いんだろうなーと思われるところはありますが、リノベーションがされててきれいです。また、近くにある消防車が出動するときや、周りが改装工事をしていたり、うるさい時もありますが、寝る時間帯はほとんど気になりません。周りの治安も、警察官がペン駅の周りにうようよいるので、夜歩いてもアメリカにしては不安があまりありません(お勧めはしませんが。。。)。

大人、中学生、小学生の合計３名で一部屋を利用しました。エクストラベットはありませんでしたが、小学生と二人でも十分寝られました。部屋もデスクやテーブルがあっても、広く感じました。 キッチンは広く、設備も新しかったので、気持ちよく使うことができました。周りにデリもありました。子どもは、ご飯や味噌汁を食べたがったので、とても助かりました。 ロケーションは決していいとは言えませんが、子連れや年配であちらの食事ばかりではもたれてしまう人と泊る方にはオススメです。

25階のスイートに3人で宿泊しました。キッチン付きでお部屋も広くエキストラベッドを入れても十分な広さで快適でした。ただ常にロビーが混雑していて落ち着かないのとトイレが地下にあり鍵を借りないと行けないのが難点。立地は最高です。駅や韓国街、メイシーズにも徒歩圏内です。

去年も同時期に泊まりましたが、その時もエアコンの調子が悪くエンジニアを夜中に呼ぶ羽目になりました。今回はエアコンの必要性があまり感じなかったのですが、最終日はさすがに寒くて困りました。でも深夜3時頃だったため、朝まで我慢しました。エアコンの調子がよくない（というか、動いてなかったです）場合は、早めにフロントに相談した方がいいです。 去年と同じタイプの部屋にしましたが、バスルームがビジネスホテル並みの狭さで驚きました。そのかわり、テーブルがあったり、キッチンスペースが分かれていたり便利な点もあったので、部屋の変更は頼みませんでした。つまり部屋によってかなり違いがあるということです。その他の点では満足できる内容でした。やはり特に良い点はロケーションです。

快適な滞在でした。 部屋は十分な広さで、清潔でした。 また、観光客案内のコーナーがあり、とても親切な対応をしていただけました。 不満は特にありませんが、宿泊している期間、混雑していたようで、エレベーターの待ち時間が長かったです。 内装が写真の通り可愛いので、特に女性が宿泊するのには、良いホテルだと思います。

口コミで評価が分かれていたので覚悟はしていましたが、いいお部屋があたりよかったです。ただ、コーヒーメーカーの中のコーヒーパックが片付けてなかったので（4日間ともです！）びっくりでした。でも、次回も利用したいと思います。

滞在は6泊。交通の便もいいし、ホテル側の対応も早くて正確でした。ベッドメイキングもいつも時間通りにしてくれるし、ベッドメイキングの人達もコンシェルジュも親切。マンハッタンの中心にあるので、地下鉄でどこにでも行けます。また、時間ニューヨークに行く時は、お世話になりたいと思います。

8歳の娘と二人で、5泊しました。 キッチンがついており、フライパン、鍋、皿、スプーン、フォーク、まな板、コーヒーメーカーが付いていました。包丁はなかったです。 食費がかなり浮きました。 ペン駅の近くで、ＭＳＧにも近く、ミュージカルも徒歩で見に行けました。 ホテルの従業員もみな感じがよかったです。 室内は改装されていてきれいでしたが、古いホテルなので、部屋がかび臭く、寝具も臭かったです。 上の階なら臭くないのかも知れません。 夜はサイレンがうるさかったです。 ランドリーがあったので洗濯もできました。 キッチンがついているので、次回も利用しようかなと思います。

友人4名、1人1ベッドが良いので、2ベッドルーム・スイーツ×2室で泊まりました。 想像以上に広い部屋で、片方の部屋に集まって食事＆談話も出来るスペースもあり、とても良かったです。 かつ、掃除も行き届いて綺麗でした。 部屋の広さに比べるとバスは狭いですが、日本のビジネスホテルよりは広いです。 キッチン付きで、冷蔵庫もそれなりに大きかったのも良かったです。欲を言えば、オーブンではなく電子レンジが付いていれば最高です。 ペン駅が目の前で、立地もとても良く、どこに行くにも便利。 次に滞在する機会があれば、またここにしようと思います。

2012年1月にスタジオスイートに宿泊しました。 （ホテルのＨＰでキッチン付きとなっていたので） 食器類は十分揃っていましたが、道具はやかんとお鍋１つしかありませんでした。フライパンが欲しかったです…。 オーブンはありましたが、電子レンジがなかったです。 それ以外は、不満なく、清潔で快適な滞在でした。 アメニティがＡＶＥＤＡだとどこかで見ましたが、ＡＶＥＤＡではなかったです。

Affinia hotel Manhattan was such a good hotel, the entrance was a classic and gogeous, the room was cleanly renovated and up to date, though. I also liked shampoos were made in France. 毎回ニューヨークに行く毎にアフィニアマンハッタンと決めてます。以前いろいろなホテルを泊まりましたが一番落ち着くのと自宅のように使える開放感のある広さ、立地条件、価格を考えるとアフィニアが一番です。もっと星の多いホテルにも泊まりましたが、総合的に見るとこちらがいいです。予約した部屋よりいい部屋が空いていると、グレードアップしてくれますし受付の方もとても感じがいいです。何よりも長期滞在には本当に適している広さが魅力的です。キッチンもあり、使えきれない広さです。

ホテｌル自体は古くて初めはあまりいい印象は受けなかったのですが、案外いいじゃ ないかという気持ちにさせられました。 どこへ行くにも便利だし、環境も悪くはなかったです。 私ら夫婦はもう年ですから、若い人たちみたいには動けないのでこの場所に決めました。最初に案内された部屋は、狭く汚かったので、交渉しました。２３階の部屋へすぐにも、交換してくれました。その時の対応が感じがとても良かったです。 次回は又ここに泊まります。

ホテルの値段が上昇しているＮＹで、ここの様に控えめな価格の部屋が見つかったことで、私には満足以上。ホテルの近くに何でもあり、もし２，３泊する予定で１ドルでも節約できる方法を探しているのなら、Afiniaのすぐそばにデリがあるので食料品を手に入れて、毎回外食せずに済みます。私たちの部屋には小さなキッチンが付いていたので、妻と私は毎朝、観光などに出かける前に朝食を作っていました。そこで、欠点のほうですが、部屋が騒音だらけになり得ます。夜通し聞こえるクラクションを鳴らす音、救急車、パトカーのサイレンが切れ目なく聞こえてきます。建物周りはよく手入れがされていますが、豪勢さは期待しないことです。ここはＮＹで、ホテルの部屋は街そのものと同様に多少疲弊して見えることもありますが、心配するには及びません。

Hotel was not handicap accessible. Web site did not indicate this. We made our reservation 6 months in advance and it still took 3 tries before we got an accessible room. We were promised a bottle of wine for our inconvenience but we did not receive it. Even after construction, hotel will not be convenient to the handicapped.

Arrived the first night@ 2 a.m. after a flight delay & was checked in to a substandard very small room that had not been well cleaned, & had a refrigerator that was not working. Called immediately and requested another room. Hotel management said the hotel was full so we couldn't be moved until later that day after someone had checked out. This is not a lovely boutique hotel, but it's fine. My husband and I just needed a place near the train to change clothes for an event and sleep over. The bathroom was clean; the sheets were acceptable; the room was tiny but just about all we needed. Because rooms are so expensive in NY, it was great to get a deal from hotels.com on Affinia.

Location was good particularly as it was beside penn station. Our trip involved some time in long island which could be accessed very easily. Didnt spend much time in the hotel or use the restaurant. A small amount of renovation was taking place in the lobby but the impact was negligible.

I had a very short, 2 night stay. The hotel was very easy to find and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that the room was extrememly poorly sound-proofed...the traffic noise from outside felt like all the windows were wide-open (they werent), and the draft from around the window panes was quite prominent, I could also hear the conversations from the room next door. I also feel that it was a bit cheap of the hotel to provide free wi-fi in the lobby but not in the rooms (especially as the lobby was unusable with the building works going on). All other things considered it was almost perfect for what I needed - which was a place to rest my head while exploring NYC and attending a concert at Madison Square Garden (practically next door).
