女性一人旅だったので最初は不安でしたが、フロントスタッフの対応が親切で温かく、すぐにリラックスした気持ちになることができました。お部屋もかわいらしく、とても満足しました。シングルルームの場合、バスルームは共有になりますが、きちんと掃除が行き届いていてとても清潔でした。トラム最寄駅のアーリントンからは徒歩１０分くらいで、アクセスも良かったです。

MIT/Harvard 大との仕事で利用しました。ホテルは 交通至便：地下鉄 Red-line Charls/MGH 駅から１分、全米 No.1 の MGH(マサチューセッツ総合病院)の隣です。 MIT へ行くにも、 Harvard へ行くにも 地下鉄で、1-3 駅 なので、15-30分程度で非常に便利でした。ホテルの部屋は、非常に素晴らしい居心地のいい空間でした。高層階からのボストン中心街やヨットの群れが浮かぶチャールス川の眺望も大変美しい。空孔にも、タクシーで１５分でした。ただ、私が宿泊した金曜の夜は、旧刑務所の天井の高い2F ロビーホールの空間では、ジャズ＆ロックの生演奏が始まり、バー のようになったのには、ちょっと参りました。こういう雰囲気が好きな方には、よいかもしれません。

列車(MBTA)のバックベイ駅のすぐ脇なので、列車で移動の最は大変便利。観光スポットも徒歩圏なので、移動途中の宿には最適。設備も申し分なく、朝食もついているので便利。玄関がこじんまりしているので、うっかり見逃すかも。

バスルームをシェアするタイプのホテルですが、部屋数に対してバスルームの数も十分あり、不自由なく過ごせました。アメリカ発祥の地にふさわしい、歴史を感じさせる上品で落ち着いた、しかもノスタルジックなたたずまいです。

Arlington駅、Newbury Streetに近く、場所は申し分なし。安全な場所でもあるので夜の帰宅になっても安心です。ホテルの部屋もよかったですが、部屋によっては共同のバスルームなので注意が必要かもしれません。あと強いて欠点を挙げるならば朝食の内容が乏しいこと。

Checking in late after a long day of travel and business meetings, the key was on the entry table as they promised. My room was a shared bath, single bed, facing the front of the building, which is just steps the street. The traffic noise was significant all through the night - old un-insulated window with A/C unit in. Thin plastic accordion stuff to […] fill in the gap was like having the window open. The bed was okay, not great. They need to flip the mattress. At 4:30 AM the alarm on the bed stand went off. (I guess housekeeping forgot to check it when they prepared the room.) The sun was up, shining through the thin shade (no curtains) and traffic was roaring. No more sleep. I ran the noisy A/C unit to drown the traffic noise the second night. Fantastic location, green space and public gardens nearby. Newbury and Boylston just two short blocks away, lots of dining and shopping options. Close to public transport, cabs are hard to find. Not convenient for downtown business. Adventurous business travelers, like me, who don't mind a few inconveniences and are looking for something less commercial might like it. Casual tourists will love it. Business travelers who need a good night rest should ask for a room that doesn't face the street. Also, expect creaky hallways and loud doors. The location of this establishment is its greatest asset. The hotel was clean, and it was very quiet. The room was comfortable and the share-a-bath was kept in excellent condition. Outstanding value in Boston.

This is a perfectly nice stay for some people, but not for everyone. The staff was nice when you had a question, but not very friendly. It was clean and very quite. A normal conversation over the phone with my wife elicited a soft knock on the wall at 10:30pm to indicate that I was disturbing my neighbor. Then I realized I could clearly hear every movement that person made in their sleep. The rooms are nice, and quaint. Breakfast usually includes coffee, juice, toast, pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Snacks are available throughout the day. Would definitely go back and recommend.

beautiful High Victorian atmosphere- very accomodating staff- lovely breakfast. Only issue is that there is no staff during night and we needed more towels and were unable to get them. Great location- everything was lovely!

Lovely, Victorian elegance in a fabulous location at an astonishingly low price. If you have no need for TV, room service, or other hotel amenities, this is a wonderful alternative to pricier hotels. I will stay here whenever I am in Boston.

the room pictured on the sight was not the room we stayed in even though I was told it would be by two different people I talked to. The parking cost twice as much as I was quoted over the phone also by two different people.A fowl odor that came out of the bathroom sink bothered my wife but I really didn;t notice it much.

We were there during hurricane Sandy. College Club was flexible about holding a room for us in case of flight delays, although it wasn't needed in the end. Room was spacious and very much like an old style Oxbridge college room. Note, no TV in the room but free wifi. Breakfast room downstairs has coffee, tea and cookies available all day.
