When booking this hotel, I expected something much nicer. I had just stayed in a room with the same hotel chain in Dallas the weekend before; In comparison,... this hotel was not as nice. The room was tiny even though it was a room with two queen beds. Could not open door to room if bathroom door was open; there was no closet. The whole entrance to the room was awkward. The A/C unit blew directly on to the bed that was closest to the window. It had a air deflector but was on top of the vents making the air hit the bed rather than on the bottom which would make the air go up. The beds were creaky and the mattresses need to be replaced. It wasn't uncomfortable but just did not give you that "nice, comfortable" feeling. The refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot area was pretty awkward too; there was no area to place anything. I had to move the coffee pot over to the desk. It was just an odd room. The carpets looked clean but we found a piece of meat, or something, beside the bed closest to the window; so apparently it had not been vacuumed very well. My kids grossed out and didn't want to sleep on that bed. It wasn't the most horrible place but for the price and the name of the hotel, I did expect better!
