Our first night the room got a bit hot and we realized Room 14 is directly over the laundry. No noise, but some extra heat. The hotel doesn't have as many parking spaces as rooms, so we had to find street parking once. But overall, our room was large and the hotel is simple, well run, and extremely convenient to Ocean Avenue shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay, location is perfect, the bed is fab!!! we had the King room with fireplace very nice #5. Breakfast is "cute" it is fruit cereal and yogurt delivered. The staff are very nice. If you want a "full" breakfast go out!

We had a lovely, quiet room with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The people at the front desk were courteous and helpful, we wanted to watch a dvd and the gentleman came up and installed the player for us. Location is superb also.

The location and staff were amazing! Our room was quiet and spacious. We liked the light breakfast that was delivered to our room, breakfast in the room was such a relaxing way to start the day. The hotel is within walking distance to all of downtown Carmel. The coffee,tea, fruit and cookies in the lobby were a pleasant surprise.

The room was clean and the proximity to restaurants and beach was priceless. It was a bit outdated and the room was small, but the service was great and the breakfast left at our door in the morning was a nice touch. The kids liked the fresh cookies and apples they had in the lobby and we appreciated the tea and coffee.

AWESOME place. We stayed in room 18, which had it's own little balcony! The bed was way too soft for our liking but still, the room and hotel were great! We didn't need our car at all unless we left the town. We even walked to the beach. Literally the best location! The only thing that was AWFUL was that the sinks in our room kept backing up.
