Hotel in fabulous position loved the farmers market and the service in restaurant was fantastic had a great time the only complaint we had was not there long enough very convenient for sight seeing all staff charming all restaurant staff an asset to the farmers daughter and reception staff very helpfull morning and evening

You can't beat the location of this boutique hotel across from the Farmer's Market! Quaint rooms (Ike visiting grandma!) but with a hip twist. This is a first choice to stay when visiting LA. Only disappointment was to find the restaurant had a health code rating of B. Come on!!!!

The hotel was great. The room was very nice and the staff was very helpful and super friendly. It has a great location near the farmers market, the Grove and fabulous 3rd St. Definitely don't miss 3rd St with all its wonderful boutiques and terrific restaurants. Cute place, awesome location, just missed the mark with some of the details. The restaurant, TART, was fantastic too, highly recommended.

the location is great-across from the grove. the one thing that was a problem-not enough hot water in shower. you start showering with hot water,and within 3 minutes the water turns cold.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Staffs are very friendly and kind. The room was stylish, clean and comfortable. We want to stay again when we go to L.A.

Farmer's Daughter is a cozy place to stay for the weekend. The hotel is not your typical hotel room as it is country-inspired, which is the reason why we decided to stay....feels like home. It is located conveniently across the Farmer's Market/The Grove and a walk away from the various restaurants on 3rd street. I loved the Farmers Daughter Hotel. It is stylish, not too expensive, in a good location and a fun place to stay. I recommend it to anyone especially if they think most reasonably priced hotels are sort of boring and unattractive. Style does not have to be unaffordable!

We chose this hotel because of its location. We will go back to this hotel because of the level of service we enjoyed. We were graciously welcomed by the valet. The front desk personnel were gracious and accommodating, even taking pictures of us since we were doing that tourist thing. My kids liked the cookies and lemonaid in the lobby (along with the […] birds in the cage). The hotel was quiet which was great considering it is on Fairfax. While the room charge was reasonable, the final bill included $18 for one night vallet parking and 10% city parking tax which added another $37.80 to the bill. This should have been disclosed upfront.

Laid back quite hotel close to Farmers Market, good value for location. Shame parking is not free

Ideal location--close to everything! Walk across the street to Farmer's Market/The Grove, and CBS studios. Many restaurants around and CVS down the street. It's close to other shopping, as well. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Farmer's Daughter! We called it our oasis from the busy city. With great staff, witty decor and an abundance of charm, we loved every minute of it. We WILL be back and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hollywood! It was fabulous!

The place is centrally located across from the Farmer's Market, The Grove and CBS studios where they film the Price is Right and The Late Late Show. An easy cab ride to the walk of fame. I'm the type of guy that thinks roughing it is a 3 star hotel. :) I would highly recommend the Farmer's Daughter.

When booking through hotels.com BE SURE to tell the front desk not to put you near an elevator, linnen closet, ice machine, etc. They have started doing this at every hotel I book through this site. This hotel is an older hotel that has been fixed up with a rustic modern sort of vibe. The valet parking is convenient and reasonable, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The Farmer's Daughter is clean and located across the street from The Grove & the LA Farmer's Market which is excellent as you can walk to great food and shopping. The […] room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint is that the bed was really hard and I wished it had been of higher quality. But, the linens were nice and the bathroom area was clean, too. There is a nice courtyard area that creates a real sense of privacy and open into Tart, a small, but nice restaurant and bar. This hotel has a great restaurant, is in a great location and if you're not spending a lot of time in the rooms you'll be fine - it's an old reconditioned (repainted and dressed up) motel and has that feel a bit. But for a quick night or two just to crash in the mid-Hollywood area it works.

Had a great stay at the Farmers Daughter. Anywhere in LA is far away from anything, so as good a location as any. A huge bonus having the farmers market and the Grove shopping centre across the rd. We absolutely loved The Farmer's Daughter. It's right across from the Farmer's Market an The Grove and is convenient for tourist attractions. The room was comfortable, unique, and overall great. The adjoining restaurant - Tart - had a great breakfast menu. We loved this hotel!

A block from Farmer's Market, close to tons of restaurants and shops

Loved everything about It

We stayed at the Farmers Daughter for a taping of The Price is Right. Overall the hotel was nice, not great for the price in terms of room quality, but the location is excellent and they give a short seminar on what to expect at the taping at CBS. The shopping and food nearby is also great. My one big complaint is the fact that I had an MP3 player stolen […] from my laptop case. As far as I know housekeeping were the only others to enter the room. I notified hotel management who said they would look into it and call me back and I have yet to hear from management. もっと読む

Fun location right across from the Farmer's Market and the decor is refreshingly different from hotel bland. But the comments about lapses are accurate. No decaf for the room coffee set up; difficult to read in bed; lots of street noise.

Bra service, hyggelige ansatte, fint rom, hyggelige fellesområder. Rask valetbetjening. Bra beliggenhet: Kort biltur til Hollywood, Beverly hills, Sunset og Melrose ave. og andre høydepunkter i LA. Elendig service i restauranten.

Flott hotell, av den litt mindre størrelsen. Glimrende service, flotte nyopppussede rom, gode senger, og god beliggenhet i forhold til Hollywood. De har valet-parkering som koster rundt 16$ døgnet, men det er det verdt. Bilen blir låst inne og vi fant det tryggere. Strøket rundt er også fint, koselig å gå i området, selv på kveldstid.
