今回の旅行で、マリーナベイサンズ、ノボテル、シャングリラ、マンダリンオリエンタルに宿泊した。その中で比較すると、マンダリンオリエンタルホテルは、格別によかった。スタッフも丁寧・親切、部屋も清潔、プールも広く、すべてに満足した。なお、部屋にこだわりがなかったため、部屋指定なしで予約したが、窓からみえるシャントンウェイの高層ビル、マリーナベイサンズのホテルの外観がすばらしかったため、オーシャンルームまたはハーバールームを予約すればよかったと後悔した。

ホテルは部屋も朝食も満足でした。アフタヌーンティーもしましたが、こちらも良かったです。 駅からすこし遠いですが良いホテルだと思います。

４月末から４泊の滞在をしました。口コミでNO１だったので、参考にしたのですが大失敗しました。 まずは、チェックイン時、インターネットでホテル予約した際には大人料金しか入力できなかったのに、当日子供（３歳児）の追加料金があるとは思っていましたが、なんと４００ドル（２８,０００円位）も取られるとは・・・！！それなら同じような金額でネット予約時に迷ったトラートンに泊まればよかったと最後まで悔しい思いをしました。 また部屋の広さや快適性はオリエンタル風で飲んでもいい紅茶（TWG！）なども毎日追加してくれるしよかったのですが、時間帯によっては蛇口から熱湯しか出なかったり、早朝６時前はテレビの音が出なかったりと、早朝ホテル発の便で帰国だったのでこれも残念でした。 いちばんがっかりしたのは、夕方の掃除の際 […] 、部屋の（通路側の）ドアを開けっ放しにされて、夕食を食べて帰ってきたとき、泥棒が入ったんじゃないかと相当ショックを受けました・・・・・・・・！！（単なる閉め忘れで盗難もありませんでしたが。） 一流ホテルではありえない大失態に、最初からがっかりし通し。 プールも、雰囲気はいいのですがジャグジーがないので肌寒かったです。 利便性について。ガイドブックに載っているようなオーチャード通りやアラブストリートなどへの買い物をメインにしている方、小さい子供連れの方であればおすすめしません。 MRTへはホテル直結のショッピングモールを抜けていけるけれど、結構歩きます。うちは子供が観光で疲れて眠ってしまって、主人が抱っこしながら歩いたのできつかったです。 値段もシンガポールの一般的なホテルに比べて高かったので、この値段と見合っているのか、本当に疑問。もう二度と泊まりません・・・ もっと読む

From arrival to departure, the service at MO was genuine, personal, friendly and helpful. Room and amenities was excellent. And although I was worried about the location, there is now a MRT station within 5mins walk and Marina Square shopping centre which is connected to Suntec City is next door! Plus Marina Bay Sands is a 10min walk across the harbour. […] There's even a small hawker centre right opposite the hotel :) Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel if you don't want to go to Orchard Rd everyday. Although it's only a SGD10 taxi ride to Orchard Rd and probably a 20-30min MRT ride. Probably the only thing I could suggest improvement on is the pillows, as I found them a little soft but that is just being picky. Location was great for both business and leisure. Service was excellent. Pool was goregous and relaxing. Food at restaurants was great. The only negative was not having much nightlife outside of the hotel within walking distance. The close proximity to the MRT helped mitigate this though.

At this high end I had much higher expectations. Altho food was good, the bar staff were so incompetent it was almost amusing. I naively expected a regular supply of electricity but to no avail. I was horrified to find, the bathroom floor was dirty, the shower recess leaked like a sieve and the AC worked so poorly I hardly slept. ....great service...great pool....great choice all round!

This is by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in and we have always stayed in 4 or 5 star hotels. The room was very spacious and the view was excellent. We stayed in a harbour view room so we could see the Singapore flyer and Marina Sand Bay hotel from our room. Arriving and departing late - the hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly and accomodating. 6pm checkout was a lifesaver.

The hotel was a true gem. Room was very nice with a great view of the Marina Bay, esp. at night. Service was first rate. Chinese restaurant in the hotel was outstanding with a fascinating menu. Staff members lack tact and flexibility when dealing with guests. Outstanding Chinese Restaurant (Cherry Garden) with great ambience.

Always stay at this hotel when I am in Singapore. This time around got an amazing deal due to the recession. Service standards unreal as usual..room a little untidy, which is highly surprising..Dismiss it as a one time only freak occurence. Try the breakfast buffet !
