The staff was very friendly and willing to go out of their way. It is close to lots of places to each and a movie theater to get away from the heat. Didn't try out the pool but it looked nice. Would stay again.

The room was smaller than some I have stayed at in this area, but very comfortable and clean. Very good value, and staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and room was very nice. The bed was a little hard for my taste but overall a great accomodation.

Staff was friendly. I only stayed one night, but hotel was nice enough for my needs. Check in was easy the room was ready unlike my last stay at Diamond Jacks!

Everything was great except the beds were very hard. After 10hrs of driving I was looking for something a little more cozy to lay on other than a something that felt like a sheet of plywood with sheets on it.

This hotel is dirty. I was there for 10 days, the room was not properly cleaned, the air exchange is very limited (don't take a smoking room). I suggest you to look for something else.

While this hotel is showing its age it's a good value in a good location. I can't justify paying $45 dollars more a night to stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

Not great for non-smokers. Booked 3 nonsmoking rooms and got them (per Jameson) but were on smoking floors. 1 shared an access door (locked) with a smoking room. Towels under door couldn't stop the smoke. Tried to get another room but all booked. Other things - smoke detector hanging off wall, trash in trash can upon arrival.

They did not charge my bill correctly, the breakfast was poor, the room was outdated, the tv did not work correctly. On a positive note the housekeeper was nice.

My children and I stayed one night here then we decided to stay the next night. The second day we had to move to another room but the room was much bigger. The staff was very friendly and professional, and our room was very nice. The main reason we stayed was to go swimming and the pool is very nice. Great staff.. Needed a new iron and brought one right away.. I travel to Monroe once a month and I always stay at the Jameson Inn.

Very small room and bathroom, ugly green water stained carpet, coarse material for the bed spreads. Facility was clean, but not comfortable enough for price range. Will not stay here again.

I travel to Monroe frequently on business and generally stay at the Courtyard, Residence, Comfort Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, or Hampton Inn, but all were booked, so I took a risk at the Jameson. The Jameson was a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The accomodations included breakfast and daily coffee. The fitness room was quite adequate. The location was near many restaurants including nice dining and fast foods. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The rooms are small and worn but not dirty. Accomodations are pretty spartan but it is what I expected more or less as the Jameson was about 5th on my list of area hotels. If you have limited choices, it is okay and will work. Great biscuits and sausage gravy in the morny

Room was clean and employees were friendly. Good experience with only one exception: They need to make the back entry door "less noisy" as it "slammed loudly" when people came thru the door.

This hotel charges 157 dollars per night and for what you get I would just stay at the motel 6 they are both on par. The hotel is old, dirty and the rooms smell. It's cheaper to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn and ten times nicer. The bedding smelled like smoke. The bathroom was dirty and smelled like mold. There was hair around the sink and tub. The […] soap they give you is the little cake kind you see in a gas station bathroom. The shampoo is a blended kind. The carpet in the room is nasty. No bare feet on that stuff for me. The tv was an old CRT box tv with a broken remote. If you're thinking that for 157 per night you're going to get a nice executive room at this place think again. I have liked Jameson from previous stays at other cities, but this was a terrible experience. The air conditioner leaked all over the carpet and the pipes made noise during the night. Not a place for a good nights sleep.

It was a great Hotel for the price. The continental breakfast had a huge selection and was good. The bed was really comfortable too. Overall, great place to stay! :D

The breakfast was great. The staff was awesome. The room was too small. The AC didn't cool very well. The pool area not very clean and not open when it was supposed to be. I believe they were short of staff. The staff very nice. It was ok.

For the money, it was a good hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast they served lasted until 10am, so that gave you plenty of time and you did not have to rush. Location is perfect if you do not know Monroe. Their Internet was very very bad. I could not surf sites, I complained to the front desk but still made no difference. I ended up having to go to a coffee shop and paying 10 bucks to get High speed Internet to do my office work. Would not recommend to anyone who needs high speed internet for work or other reason.

I arrived at this hotel and was met by a very friendly receptionist. She checked me in without any problems and was very nice. My horror didn't start until I arrived in my room. When I first arrived it seemed fine. The best was made and all seemed normal. It wasn't until I woke up the next morning that I saw the little bits and pieces of junk from other […] guests on the floor. The odd earplug, an errant straw wrapper. Once I looked closer I realized that the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in ages. I then opened the shower curtain to hop in for my morning shower only to find that there was hair in the drain and on the walls! I will not be returning to this hotel. The staff is great, the beds are good - but refrigerator leaked, couldn't open the door without eleveating the front,...and even simple things - like having an up-to-date channel guide for the TV were lacking.

Only thing missing, coffee makers in the room....

This hotel was perfect for a single woman. The room was clean and neat and I felt safe the entire time I was there. There were numerous restaurants nearby for dinner and the breakfast extended far beyond the "sweet roll and coffee" offered by other hotels. The staff was very cordial and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay! Hotel was right next several restuarants - we walked to a different restuarant each night and right next to the highway.
