他のかたのレビューを見てホテルを決めましたが、ここのホテルにして正解でした！想像通り、とっても素敵なホテルでした！ ソファーやテーブル・シャワールーム・洗面台にいたるまで可愛いお部屋です！夕日も素敵に見えました！ 目の前がすぐ道路なので車の音が気になるかたもいるかもしれませんが私たちはぐっすり眠れました。 看板もあるので大丈夫だと思いますが、ホテルの入り口が小さいので通り過ぎないように注意が必要でした！

This was a wonderful alternative to the large chain hotels on the Riverwalk. The staff was awesome and the historic building was very well maintained. A fun place if you like a historic hotel-bed and breakfast. three blocks from the Alamo and across the street from the river-walk restaurants. Historic building turned into a fine hotel.

Great Personnel and great service. B&B feel right by the Riverwalk. You may want to ask for a room facing the Riverwalk, ours was on the Alamo Street side.

My wife and I loved it. The room was small and cousy. It had a beautiful view but you can here the cars threw the windows. The cleaningness of the room made us feel at home and the free moring breakfast was deliciouse. The parking was akward, you park away from the hotel for 12 a day. Didn't like the street noise and homeless people outside the door, but overall nice well run hotel.

This hotel lived up to its description on the website and more. The staff was extremely welcoming, showing me right to my room which had nice guitar music playing. Just needed one night near the Riverwalk for business. What a great find the Riverwalk Vista was for me. You won't think much of it from the outside but once you're in you'll be hooked. First, you must know that the parking is offsite. It's within walking distance and the cost is $12 for 24 hours and no in and out privileges. The swimming pool they have pictured is also offsite and I'm not sure where it's located because I was too tired, from walking to and from the parking garage, to ask. Secondly, this place is more of a "bed n […] breakfast". I have privacy issues and it was not private enough for me. The hotel is nice and clean but the room was more like someone's bedroom. Thirdly, the breakfast was absolutely horrible. The only tasty edible was the muffins, cookies and cereal. It was right across the street from the Riverwalk but several blocks away from the Market Square. The location is really nice. You can go to the riverwalk in a few minutes.

It's really hard to decide whether to give this hotel a thumbs up or thumbs down because there are things in both camps. We'll go with the thumbs down first... it is NOISY. I stayed on the "quieter" side of the hotel but there was traffic and bus noises pretty much constantly. One night, a group of teenagers decided to hang out at the bus stop just […] outside my window (I stayed on 2nd floor). They were talking / laughing and riding their skateboard until 12:30am. Within the room, the air conditioner is also noisy... not obscene loud but definitely not quiet enough for you to fall asleep. My room had 3 lamps, which is too dark for me. But when I open the curtain, people on the street can look directly into my room. I have suggested to the hotel to perhaps install sheer curtain so that the light can come through while preserving privacy. There is a McDonald's right downstairs, with groups of homeless / semi-homeless people just hanging out right next to the door of the hotel. The thumbs up... location can't be beat. It is very close to the convention center (reason for my stay) and it is just next to the riverwalk where the busiest restaurants are and where people seem to gather. It's close to the Alamo and the Riverwalk center shopping mall. The character of the hotel is great, old and charming. The breakfast was excellent and the coffee is the best that I've had in a long, long time. The staff is very helpful and polite. All in all, I think it's a decent hotel. This hotel/bed and breakfast is in a perfect location to enjoy the Riverwalk and sights of San Antonio. It has a great feel to it. The exposed brick walls, the high ceilings and antiques all add to the ambiance. The rooms are nicely furnished with antiques and a comfortable bed. This place is fantastic. So glad we opted to stay there rather than one of the more expensive chain hotels. Everything was perfect. Close to the riverwalk and all of the popular conference venues. Historical building with modern touches to the rooms. Excellent for someone who wants a change of pace from mainstream hotels or couples looking for a room that feels secluded even though it is still walking distance from restaurants and sights.

We had a wonderful stay at the Riverwalk Vista. There were personal touches such as a goldfish in a bowl on the desk, a teddy bear on the bed and a rubber duck in the shower. The room was full of character but also very clean and tidy. We enjoyed free freshly baked cookies each afternoon, free wine service every evening and a quality breakfast buffet […] in the mornings. The location was fantastic, right across the street from the lively Riverwalk, a block or two from the Alamo and an easy walk to the shopping at El Mercado (The Market) and La Villita. The historic homes in the King William neighborhood was also just a short walk away. The Riverwalk had a great buzz even though we were there on Monday and Tuesday nights but we didn't notice any noise from the street when we were back in our room at night. This hotel was comfortable and felt very safe. However, ask to stay on the Riverwalk side. It's a little quieter. Our room was above a bus stop so it was a little noisy. This was a great place to stay. Very comfortable, the staff was very helpful. I had to leave for meetings before breakfast was ready, but each morning I was able to get a banana and a slice of the apple bread- which was excellent. Great service.

This old hotel has a lot of character. It only has 17 rooms, all of which are huge. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. If you compare a run-of-the-mill hotel around San Antonio's riverwalk to the Riverwalk Vista Hotel: the prices are the same, the location is about the same, but the Riverwalk Vista hotel has character. The room was comfortable, the shower was WONDERFUL, and the breakfast had flavor. A perfect stay for weekend get-away.

Riverwalk Vista was great - fabulous location for visiting the riverwalk, great service, good breakfast, nice room. Free library of classic movies and mini fridge in the room were nice touches, and the pack-n-play available to rent and bag of toys to borrow were great for our little one!

Everything was really nice at the hotel. Breakfast is hard boiled eggs, bagels, English muffins, fruits, cereals, milk, juice, coffee, and a hot entree that changes every morning. There is a keypad entry to the hotel, so only guests are able to enter at all. This is a nice security feature. The staff is very limited, so no one is going to carry your […] bags up to your room. The Riverwalk Vista was such an awesome hotel!! My boyfriend and I went on a romantic getaway for a weekend. We both enjoyed our stay! The service was excellent! The location was perfect!! I would stay there again!!

Great room, great location, great staff, great breakfast.

The Riverwalk Vista is a small Inn (17 rooms), but charming in it's antiques, hard wood floors, brick walls, but tiled bathroom and comfy beds. They serve a nice breakfast, that comes with the room rate, cookies at 3 and wine every evening at 5 (all free). There is always fresh fruit available as well. This is centrally located to the Riverwalk, an easy walk to the convention center and to the other major hotels (Hyatt Grand, Regency, Hilton and Marriott). My air conditioner worked so well, I had to turn it off at times, and there is street noise, but they provide white noise machines that really did the trick (I had a friend staying at one of the big hotels and they also complained of the street noise, but they didn't have a white noise machine.) This is a great historic hotel with lots of character. Loved the high ceilings in the rooms. The cookies and wine in the evening were great for relaxation after a day out on the town. The location is close to most anything you'd want to see in the downtown area and within walking distance of the Riverwalk, the Alamo, many restaurants, etc.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the whole atmosphere was so comfortable.

The rooms and lobby were awesome. They were some of the best maintained rooms we have stayed in. A great price thru hotels.com but the parking/ unloading was a big problem. We had to unload in the lane of traffic with cars honking and shooting the bird! When I arrived, a staff member helped me carry my bag up their stairs and took it to my room while I parked. When I got to my room, they had complimentary water in the fridge...and a GREAT view! You can see the Riverwalk from the room. Breakfast was also fantastic. This feels like a home away from home.

This hotel has an excellent location. It is close to everything downtown. We walked everywhere and only took the car out of the garage to see the missions. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I even took advantage of one of the living areas.

My overall stay at The Riverwalk Vista was great. The room's furnishings were a welcome change from the "chain" hotels...and the fish was an appreciated added touch.
