The hotel was okay for a weekend getaway. I was hoping to get some schoolwork done while my kids were asleep, but the wireless internet wasn't keeping a connection - even after contacting the nice support people. The rooms were very clean, but alittle out-dated. Very nice view of the ocean. The pool area looks bigger in picture than in person. It's in the quieter section of Myrtle beach if your unfamiliar with the area. Overall it is a decent place for the money they charge.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Compass Cove. We would consider staying there again on our visit to Myrtle Beach. Room was very clean. Staff was extremely nice. Parking was great. Would highly recommend the Compass Cove to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice relaxing vacation.

The room was in very clean condition and comfortable. We arrived late and we were hoping to be able to leave a few hours later the next day but were told to leave no more than 30 minutes later or be charged an extra day. We weren't happy about that but in all, the place was good and fun. It was near everything!

Stayed the last week of March 2012 and that's when the nightmare began. First day there they almost sent my wife to the hospital after serving food she is highly allergic too.After calling it to their attention twice they sent the food back only to remove the top layer of the item and sent it back out only to cause an allergic reaction to my wife. The […] air conditioner in the room was broken and had to sleep in lawn chairs outside to stay cool. They replaced the air conditioner twice until they got one that worked. One day at the bar by the pool two subjects got highly intoxicated and started using profanity and derogatory terms at two homosexual subjects at the bar. The bartender waited before calling security and police to the scene. All this was in front of small children around the pool. There was no trash can in the bathroom in the room and resulted in repeated request just for a trash can. To be fair some of the problems were addressed by management but on the whole the service was nonexistent at this facility and for the pay you can do much better else where. This place was very nice. Nothing amazing but it was clean, with a good location and I would stay there again. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything.

We had only been to Myrtle Beach one other time for just a couple of nights so we took a friend's recommendation to stay at Compass Cove. The service was great and our stay was good but the older part of the resort, the part in which we stayed, needs obvious updating and maintaining. We had a great time. The room and staff were nice. The full kitchen listed in the room description was missing the stove but we did have a microwave. Other than that - we would stay again in the future.

Good value and centrally located for beach and city activities- comfortable room size and cleanliness. Hotel staff very accomodating

We loved our stay here. We have already recommended it to our friends. It is an older hotel, but still very clean. It had plenty of options for swimming and it was a great place for our family. Very family/child friendly. It was so nice to have our children asleep in the bedroom while we had the living area to relax in.

I traveled here with total of 4 adults and 2 children, this place had exceed my expectations! There is things to do in this resort for all ages. My children loved the swimming pools all 23!!! I would highly recommend this resort and again and I would love to come back!

We went down for a weekend away from home. We had a great stay there. Staff was curtious and helpful. Room was clean and roomy. We would stay again.

Wonderful resort. Lots to do right on sight. Pools and hot tubs to enjoy. Beautiful views from the balcony of the ocean. All the staff were very friendly with any questions we had. Beautiful landscaping also. We will definitely stay here again when at Myrtle Beach!

This was an amazing place to stay over spring break. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere made for a very relaxing vacation. Highly recommend this place!

I got a great value in March with a discount on an ocean view suite. Loved all the amenities: ocean view, beach, heated lazy river, hot tub, heated indoor and outdoor pools! Full kitchen was very handy. Loved having 2 TVs. Check in and check out was super fast and courteous. Needed a code to use the free WiFi. Hotel was ok asked for extra pillows for fold out couch and was told they had none. was charged a$100 deposit for the room when we got there for damage per night because we were under 40 spent 2 hours trying to get deposit back we had to wait for the maid to clean the room before we were returned the deposit also no maid service the whole stay. poor […] service もっと読む

If you want that beautiful ocean view as shown in the pictures, make sure you book the Pinnacle building and not the schooner building. The Pinnacle building has suites that include a kitchen and a living area. The schooner rooms do not have either of these things. I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. No complaints at all! 3 BR Condo, very clean, very comfortable, side view of ocean, but still just enough to be happy with....will definitely stay again!

Hotel was very nice, especially for the price. All service personnel well trained and friendly. Only issue was parking, as their were three different areas to park, and all of them almost always full. But, it was sold out... so to be expected. Good place to go. I'd return.

The hotel had plenty of ammenities on site for all ages. The pools were clean, towels were always supplied, rooms were clean, staff was excellent. They are in a quieter area of town and 5 mins from the airport. The beach was nice and price was right I would recommend this place to anyone who have kids or your young teens. Groceries, nice min puts and […] other shops minutes away. We had a great time and will be coming back some time. The only thing I had a problem with was I had asked for early checkin because checkin time was 3:00 and we had a wedding to be at by 4:00. We got there around 2:00 expecting to be able to go on in and our room was not cleaned and didn't get ready until 2:45. This was on our reservation so they knew it. My stay was very nice until I was bitten by something during my stay. I check out on Marth 5th and today is March 7th and my bite has gooten worst. Maybe a one time incident. But maybe will not recommend your resort.

The room was very clean. Have a couple of problems with the room, but it was taken care of no more the 10 mins after my call. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again.
