walls in the room were dirty and is by a truck stop which made for lots of outside noise

I stayed at the day's inn because of special rate through hotels.com. the outside of hotel looked nice but the inside of room was very old and the bedding looked from the 60's or 70's. it wasn't a comfortable room. although the room was non smoking, you could smell smoke in the room and hallway.

There were empty rooms on1st floor, but we were booked on 2nd floor with had no elevator to carry heavy bags. Pillows were lumpy,dresser drawer broken,bed gave me a backache,shower ran out of hot water. Elliptical machine was gorilla size, foot placement too wide for a woman. Next to a truck stop but that was not a problem--very convenient. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke but the room did not. Convenient location for Tanger Outlet, Alamance Shopping Center shopping trips. Lobby smelled a little smoky, but second floor was nice and fresh.

The hotel was conveniently located off of I-85 and the hotel staff were very friendly. The physical building is old but well-maintained. There is no elevator but the staff helped bring our bags upstairs. There are no frills but everything was clean and the price was right!

Very good deal for the money!

This location suited our needs perfectly. It was a short distance to restaurants and stores. And most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful.

This Day's Inn was okay for a one night stay, would not stay any longer. Location is by a truck stop and although we did not hear any truck during the night the lights outside are bright. The room was doable for one night but would not want to spend more than that there. The towels were like sandpaper thinner than a good papertowel. Great price for What you get, comes with a pool, free breakfast ,coffee anytime, some food on floor behind the bed stand, towels were scratchy, Plenty of parking. Overall we liked it, Staff friendly.

Room, breakfast and staff were terrrific.

I've paid twice as much at other hotels and haven't had as nice an experience! The room was clean, odor-free, and quiet. Do not stay at this hotel if you are in the Burlington area.

My wife stayed on her way back from VA. Was convenient for our purposes. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the price was right!

The hotel was good, affordable and clean. The pool closed at 8pm, which was far too early. However, all else was good.

The staff was nice. Overall the room was ok, but the cleanliness of the room was TERRIBLE!! By the fridge and the microwave, there was old food laying around, when I went to move the nightstand to make room for my daughters pack and play I stepped in what seemed a FRESH barbeque stain and there were pubic hairs on our towels! It's located right near […] an 18 wheeler gas station with not a lot of parking and no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared to make a lot of trips up the stairs. This days inn is nasty. unless you are used to sub-standard hotels, this place is not for you. it took several room changes to get us a satisfactory room. there also seemed to be alot of permanent residents there in the hotel who probably have a weekly or monthly rate to stay there. spend some more money and stay at a place you will want to be at.

We were in town for my sister's funeral and stayed at the Days Inn because of the location. When leaving the hotel the first day our door to the room would not lock. The person at the front desk told us they would get it fixed. We left the hotel and returned in the evening and the door was working. The next day leaving the hotel our door would not lock […] AGAIN!! We were in a hurry to get to the funeral and the person behind the desk told us they would call and get the door fixed. When we got back in the evening the door was not fixed. They did not offer to move us to another room until that evening. The bed looked like it was bought in the '70's. The springs well you can feel each one. If they would replace the mattresses I would rate it much higher. The staff was great everything was great but that.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel to stay while we took our daughter to college. We were very satisfied with this hotel. The room was very clean, which is the biggest priority for me. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was no frills but I didn't expect that for the price. Would definitely stay there again.
