Wonderful hotel, nice and clean. Hotel staff very professional and friendly.

We were in Monroe, Louisiana for a funeral. We usually stay at Hilton, Marriot, or Westin properties when we travel so I was a little apprehensive. However, the airport Best Western received better reviews than any of the above so I booked one night just to see. After checking in I hurried up and booked the rest of our stay at the BW. Great service […] and very comfortable beds. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water, which was much appreciated after a long plane trip. Free newspaper every day during the week and free WiFi and breakfast! The breakfast wasn't just cold cereal. Each morning we had waffles, eggs, sausage and potatoes. There was an assortment of danish as well as cereals and grits, if that is your thing. Also plenty of juice as well as coffee and tea. It really was a full breakfast as advertised. There was a mall on the other side of the freeway and lots of places to have lunch and dinner nearby. A great value for the money. We have used this hotel several times and its handicapped rooms and service was very good. It is easy to get to all areas of Monroe, room was clean and well maintained and the staff was very nice. However, one morning we woke up to find work being done on the driveway in front which required us to negotiate around gas can, other cars to get out. The […] following morning the only way we could get out from in front of our handicapped room was to drive towards back of the building and actually drive over concrete rubble. When I told the day manager about this she sail she had gotten in with no problems. I informed her that we were in a truck as opposed to a small car and then I asked her if it would have been too much to ask that we be informed of the pending maintenance to the hotels parking areas. She said the owner had arranged this and there was nothing they could do about it. We ended up parking for two days of our stay on the opposite side of the building - and walking through the construction area as the lobby was locked. Great for handicapped patrons. Room was clean, and up to date, with flat screen, as well as complimentary internet access. Comfy beds with a fridge and microwave. Free breakfast was a bonus!

Not very clean and neighbors were loud. I could go on and on. I chose this hotel because it was a 4 star rated hotel. That is a joke.

everything was good and nice except the room service we requested for an extra blanket and a pillow the front desk clerk asked us to come up to the lobby to get it which is ridiculous at about 10 pm of the night. The breakfast was always excellent and available in pleasant surroundings. Parking was convenient to the room. The hotel structure is older, but adequately maintained. Room furnishings are adequate and comfortable. A good value for a short (3-5 day) stay.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked the room in Monroe, La. I'd stayed at a Best Western before -- several in fact. But they all have their own decor and vibe. The room we had was very plush. The full-size beds were a bit two small for two people, but everything else was just fine. A very nice stay and a pleasant surprise at the accommodations […] and quality of breakfast. My only complaint is the late check-in policy. Apparently, the lobby closes after 9 p.m., so anyone checking in or needing to visit the front desk has to do so through the closet-sized entryway at the front. Great Hotel!!! Just need to get housekeeping to come back to clean the room when you request it. Not myself and my wife taking out ours own trash and asking for towels.

After having stayed at another hotel chain the previous trip, I was very pleased with the hotel in Monroe, La. If I have to return to that area, I will definitely stay there again.

Visit the countryside...it's beautiful!

The attendant was helpful in getting me a nonsmoking room as requested even though the double rooms were overbooked.

employees are a little to noisey eary in the morning

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel because it is close to shopping and dining. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. If you are ever in Monroe, LA stay here!

We were very satisfied with our room. The motel is located in a good area travel to anywhere in Monroe is easy. Rates are great for the good quality you receive.

Everything went very well, except for the fact that I accidentally booked a smoking room, and they couldn't hook me up with a non-smoking room when I got there... That was tough, and even though it was a smoking room, it was as clean and nice, considering the circumstances.

Very nice room, clean, comfortable and modern. Nice breakfast. Only complaint was a group of noisy contractors staying next door and early the next morning they banged, yelled, slammed doors and made no effort to let others rest. Hotel is conveniently located off of the interstate and close to mall and eating establishments. Staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed in suite that was roomy and comfortable. Extremely pleased with the hotel and price....clean, safe, and well worth the money...other family members stayed in other hotels surrounding the area, they paid more and didn't have as nice as rooms as us, or experience....

If you want a super clean room, or if you have a strong aversion to bugs, this is not your place. But it's very near to the airport and across the street from a mall, so it's convenient. The rooms are big and comfortable, but not the cleanest I've ever seen. It looks like the toilets in particular just get a once-over. The best thing about this hotel […] is the price. It's cheaper than I've spent on a hotel in a LONG time, so it's definitely good value for the money. It's also on the same lot as a gas station, which is handy if you have a rental car to fill up before you go back to the airport. Very clean and convenient for our needs as we were only passing through with our grandkids. Only negative was that the "queen" beds were a bit small and area was adjacent to a construction site. Would stay there again when we are in Monroe.

Motel was very clean and fixtures were above average. The only concern was we got a room on the 1st floor that you could hear the water from above running through the pipes in the wall. For the cost it's a good place to stay. If in the area again we will stay there.

I think many points need to be improved on: Eggs shaped like pancakes (yuckiest stuff I ever ate, and yes I did try them) No fruit in fruit baskets at breakfast day 1 2 Green Bananas in fruit baskets on day 2 Sheet and foamy blanket on beds - no comforter Skimmer basket in pool must not work well - I had to remove debris before my granddaughter could […] swim Jacuzzi - yucky full of oily surface stuff - we didnt even get in it BUT the biggy was - there were 4 of us - 2 kids 2 adults - there were 3 towels only - asked for more towels next day - was told twice they would bring us some - never got them - then the next day we asked for 4 towels and were told they are limited to how many towels go in each room - they never had to clean our room - so in my eyes they still owed us towels - I have never had to beg for towels (and still we lived the whole weekend on three towels) - A DM needs to visit this hotel and stay their and see what their customers see. もっと読む

The room was nicer than I expected. The king-size bed was comfortable and nicely appointed, and the fridge, flat screen tv, and microwave were all great. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, potatoes and other items and was very good. With the Hotels.com discount, the room was a bargain. We would stay there again.

the room was spacious and clean the only drawback is the beds dont have comforters on beds front desk informed me that the rooms dont offer them other than that loved the stay there convenient to everything would highly recommend

The manager resolved a booking conflict, great customer service! Very good continental breakfast, very clean room, comfortable bed! What more could you ask for?!

I found my room to be large, comfortable, new furnishings, plush bed, the management and staff were wonderful, very helpful. I would definately stay here again and will be. A great place to stay at a very reasonable price.

Rooms where fine. Some mildew on shower curtain. Concerned about our non-smoking room being sandwiched between two smoking rooms. Why is this non-smoking room separated from the other non-smoking rooms?

The rooms were gorgeous. I wasn't expecting the design of the rooms. Housekeeping was nice and excellent. We had plenty of privacy and the room was convient to surroundings.

It is VERY hard to find a smoke free room in this area. So this was great. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The temperature was also easy to regulate in the room. The rooms are very nice and well maintain. The personnel was friendly and willing to help. I was surprised and excited when we arrived. The location is not far from a mall and close to the airport. It is a short distance from downtown Monroe. I will being stay there again.

Senior rates were great and one reason we chose that location. Close to a very nice shopping mall with GREAT food.

Would recommend to others , Just a good place to stay

Was a good stay but when dealing with the front desk staff for a couple issues she seemed short with me and like she didn't really want to be there. Remote for TV did not work in my room and never got a new one. Also was a puddle of water in bathroom I stepped in with my socks after check in.

Probably best motel in Monroe. The room had no smell at all which is important to us, was clean and up to date (flat sreen tv). Beds were comforable and bedding clean.

Very standard hotel. Room and lobby were clean and somewhat updated, but nothing special. The outside (sidewalks, walls, etc.) and pool seemed a bit grimy- it could have used a thorough power-wash.
