Didn't like how the rooms were all open to the outside; didn't feel as safe. But I loved the proximity to running trails, the University of Oregon, etc. The room was clean and comfortable, though had a musty smell. I would stay there again.

This hotel was PERFECT for what I needed. Very clean, quite, excellent location and extremely friendly service. I've stayed at another hotel in the area and was not nearly as pleased with the staff or the accommodations as I was on this stay. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!!

Went there for a 3 day sporting event and did not stay in the rooms very long. But the rooms were very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The room we stayed in was small and it was hard for 3 people to navigate around in, but overall it was great.

We got the room we ordered - a king "suite". As a matter of fact the room was HUGE! Unfortunately the room was oddly shaped and furnished and it so big it was difficult to see the TV. There was no TV channel listing so we had to flip through each channel to learn what channels we had. There was a balcony over a creek - a bonus in most cases - but since […] the room was right next to a major thoroughfare we were awakened by trucks and motorcycles throughout the night - in addition to the hotel pipes! That Saturday we started watching the Ducks football game at a restaurant. We felt we'd be more comfortable at the hotel so we called the front desk to verify we could get the game in our room (new PAC12 channel). The front desk assured us we could so we left our great table only to learn the front desk was incorrect. We complained to the front desk and was assured that we'd get a 20% discount on their inflated game-day rate once the computer quit its maintenance cycle. When we went to check out the next day the discount was not there. We had to explain the situation again to the management. He was quick to give us the promised discount but the damage has already been done. We visit Eugene regularly but we will be hard pressed to stay here again. もっと読む

Got a room there because it was close to the Stadium walkway. ended up with a smoking room that smelled of smoke really bad. when i asked if I could change rooms the big guy at the check in desk was really rude.

Our stay was just fine. The main drawback was the lack of good restaurants nearby. Everything else was fine. It's right across the street from the university if that is important to you.

The room was clean and large enough for a family of four. Great location to 'Pref' Trail and other running trails. The workout room was big but the indoor heated pool was too cold for kids. The hotel staff were helpful and attentive. The continental breakfast was much better than most. My kids really enjoyed the pancake maker.

Very difficult to get to off I5 going south. The best Western billboard was useless on I5 and sent us off on a wild goose chase. The online directions were also very confusing and wrong. The air conditioning was noisy.

We only stayed one day, but we loved our stay here. We also didn't realize that the gym and pool were nice and we forgot to bring the workout clothes and bathing suits. The breakfast was adequate and efficient for getting something in the stomach before running around campus all day. We'll definitely stay here again.

It's literally across the street from the campus, the price was reasonable, the hotel was clean, bed were comfortable, the staff was efficient and pleasant and there was an indoor pool for the kids to play in the evening we were there. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance.

We found our stay to be exceptional! The rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable and loved having 4 pillows on each of our queen size beds ;-) The staff at the front desk were very professional, and helpful when we checked out, and needed directions. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Clean and comfortable hotel. A bit over priced for the amenities but you are paying for location convenience. Avoid rooms 144 - 164 as they look out on to a bar/restuarant that can get noisy, especially when they empty the bar garbage at 12 midnight. Breaking beer bottles is not a pleasant wake up. Other than that its a fine hotel

We recently booked a double queen for our stay during the PAC 12 Championship, we ended up needing a second room luckily we got a 2nd before all rooms were sold out. My stay at the Best Western was pleasant. The rooms were clean, and mine has a large flat screen! I also stayed there the night of the civil war game and it was surprisingly quiet. Hotel was clean, consistent, staff were friendly. Pool was due for a cleaning, but nothing offensive. Nicely appointed. Only complaint is the lack of good lighting - I'm going to travel with my own light bulbs - sorry, but the energy savers are not good for reading or close work.

Just park your car and walk to everything at O U. Many rooms have balconies and overlook a pretty stream and park. And this place is not as expensive as its other local competitors.

Must admit that I LOVE staying across the street from Hayward Field and UO the most of all. So when I go back to the New Oregon Hotel, I'm always in a good mood to begin with. This time around everything was even better: very clean rooms, new furnishings, great internet, good TV and outstanding Tap Water!! Strongly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the motel on a business trip -- was located within 5-miles of all the places I visited. My room was newly refurbished and very nice. Across the street from the U of O, there are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. I would stay here again if I ever visit Eugene again.

Our problem with the room started when my husband went to take a shower. Before he knew it, he was ankle deep in water, and almost had it going over the edge of the shower stall. His shower came to an abrupt end. The next incident was when I was getting ready for bed and took my shoes and socks off. The carpet was wet. We weren't sure what was going […] on, it was raining outside. Too tired to deal with either of those items, we just went to bed. In the morning, my husband went to talk to the front desk. They had someone to fix the shower immediately...but the problem was a little more detailed than putting Draino down the drain. We removed ourselves from the room and went and had breakfast. Upon returning, the shower was fixed and worked great. The damp carpet was due to the fact that it had just been cleaned prior to us getting there. By the afternoon the next day, the carpet was dry. This hotel has uncomfortable rooms with tiny bathrooms. The details are missing clean grout in the tub and areas where a guest will actually be. It was supposed to be pet friendly, but there was no place to take a pet to walk.
