Musty smell and Bathroom lamp burned out!!!

I will definitely return again to this hotel the beds where wonderful I wanted to take them home with me excellent customer service all the worker were very polite and most importantly was A CLEAN bathroom!!! Loved it!

We needed a place to stay in Susanville, Ca and this was recommended by Hotels.com. The hotel was older and in ok shape. Beds were fairly comfortable and room was clean. Shower did not have much pressure. Breakfast was ok too. It was nice enough for a night. But wouldn't want to stay here for several.

We had the worst banging and thumping on the room floor above our room I don't think we slept from 9::00 PM until 2:00 AM. Then once again at 5:30 AM until 6:30 AM. Never has this happend to us in all our travels. We don't have any idea what might have gone on up there. hats off to the staff. we had a party of 12 in town for a wedding and they were great to us. if i ever need to stay the night in susanville again, this is where ill be.

this hotel was not the best we stayed at the pool was shut and the quest computer was out of order,perhaps we just stayed at the wrong time

The staff was very courteous, check in/out was quick and simple. The room was clean and nice. Hotel was close to everything. Continental breakfast was good (cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, toast, waffles, biscuits, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice) Overall really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

We were delighted when we checked into the Best Western Trailside Inn in Susanville to find such a nice, new, spacious room with hardwood floors, rustic light colored pine dresser, beds, and TV cabinet, and 2 comfortable recliner chairs. There is also a mini-fridge and a microwave. There is a Safeway grocery store (with a Starbucks) a block away if […] you need to pick up food. The shower head was great - high enough for my tall husband and had good pressure. The bathroom has a small window that lets light in. The whole room is light and airy. We enjoyed a relaxing evening and morning in our room. The continental breakfast was very good with hard boiled eggs, healthy cereal choices (Cheerios, granola, etc), instant oatmeal, fruit, whole grain breads, assortment of yogurts, waffles, biscuits and gravy, assorted juices, etc. The only downside was the noisy fan for the air conditioner that we ran all night because it was a hot day. It is and average hotel rooms are VERY SMALL.

You get all you expect from a Best Western.The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants and stores in town. The front desk girl was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are clean, quiet, well-maintained and equipped with TV, fridge, microwave and coffee machine.WIFI worked well. Excellent accommodations and hotel staff. The continental breakfast was terrific with the usual foods but also included biscuits and gravy and waffles. The room was average in size and was fine except for the bathroom door which was too narrow for my walker to go through. Other than that everything was very good.

We were just looking for a comfortable bed, a nice shower, and a pool at a clean motel. This motel provided all 3 except the outdoor pool was still closed for the winter.
