"Small but nice room w/ great view of Lake Powell"
The hotel is situated within walking distance to Lake Powell. It is rather stark to look at (they use xeriscape-drought-tolerant plants - for most of their landscape, so don't expect lush greenery everywhere), but it is neat and well kept. The rooms are adequate, altho' the swamp cooler in the wall kept waking my husband up in the night. The Lake Powell […] Resort is a great location for short trips; for example, we took the Secret Canyon hummer tours one afternoon (fabulous), as well as a visit to horseshoe bend. Both took less than a half hour to get to.... There are bus tours that come and go at this resort, but they seem to handle the crowds pretty well. All in all, we were satisfied with the resort, its location, and its amenities.

"What a place"
Great hotel out of Page and next to the lake. The scenery is incredible and it was so tranquil sitting on the balcony each morning with a coffee looking at the scenery. Short drive into Page for all of the tourist stuff and shopping. Restaurant was a bit pricey for the meal size. We will definitely be visiting again
Beautiful location, would have liked wifi in my room or hard wire.
Beautiful location and we had a great stay.
"Lake Powell Resort"
misleading add. The marina is inside the Nationals parks, you have to pay an interance fee in order to get to your hotel & it is off the beaten path and miles from town. the hotel rooms are ok/plan unless you pay an upgrade for a view (small balcony-recommend*) but again it will cost you more. the wireless internet is not in the rooms you have to hike […] to the main lobby for slow service. the evening views helped save the day at this stay.
"Great Service!"
Loved the location and rooms. Was also very impressed with the service of the front desk staff. When an emergency arose and we had to leave earlier, they checked us out quickly and did not even charge us for the partial day! We will be back!

"Lake Powell Resort Stay"
While the hotel (not really a resort) is located in some pretty amazing scenery there is NOTHING resort about this hotel. Maid service was lacking, not replenishing towels when asked for, beds not made up, limited menu in the restaurants, no internet access in rooms (makes it hard to make plans for the next day), no one at the hotel seemed to know anything […] regarding the local area (hikes/tours etc). Seems as if you stay with them during the off season you get second class service. Better of staying elsewhere in Page. Very disappointing.
"Nice because of lake, but that's about it."
We booked a deluxe Lakeview room. The room was just ok. It did have a mini fridge and little patio that we could sit and look at the lake. The rest of it was mediocre. The bed was not comfortable, and the way it was made was horrible. My husband didn't sleep all night--felt like he was short sheeted and the sheets bunched up. So if you stay, check the […] bed making before you go to bed. Other than that---we were here during off time of year, so it was very quiet. Almost like we had the place to ourselves.
Nice view. Hard to find at night. Room is just so-so.
"Resort - only during the season"
Out of season this hotel is dead. There is no breakfast and the stand that pretends to sell breakfast doesn't sell anything. If you get to Page out of season, I would recommend to stay downtown, where the action in town os.

"Overpriced, but scenic location"
The one real redeeming feature of this hotel is its location, right on the shores of Lake Powell. If you get a lake-facing room, the view is awesome. However, the biggest problem with this hotel is the price. The general interior is about the quality of a Days Inn, but we paid more than a Marriott stay. There was no elevator, so plan carefully if […] you have a lot of heavy bags. The food was good, but they were ran out of lots of things on the menu. So we often had to settle for second or third choices. This is not typical of resorts, who usually go out of their way to satisfy odd cravings. Given that there is no other hotel, the lack of competition is obvious. However, they did offer a number of great lake boat trips.
"Tired rooms - great location"
Nothing wrong with the hotel or the location but the rooms are old and tired.
You certainly can't get a better view of the lake! The hallway was a little run down and shabby, but the room was perfectly fine and clean and included a small fridge, tv, ironing board and hairdryer. Lobby and restaurants very nice. Cute gift shop. LOVE that they are so eco-friendly and even have a recycle bin in the room and several around the property. […] Towels could've been nicer - not very soft. About a 10 minute drive to town, which gives a great chance to see the Glen Canyon Dam - very impressive. Wish we'd had time to do some hiking around the property. It's so gorgeous there!
"Lake Powell Resort"
The boat cruise to Antelope canyon is well worth the time. Great hike to Horeseshoe Bend. Glen Canyon Dam very intersting.
Beautiful location and very family friendly. I would stay here again.

"Beatiful location but mass tourism"
The hotel is located in a National Park andguests therefore have to buy a 7-day entry pass. Quite a big resort, no familial touch, the receptionist wasn't friendly at all. The dinner we had was good and our waiter was very funny and motivated. Because it took us 15 minutes to drive to Page for dinner/shopping we would rather stay more in the town centre […] next time. Hotel offers boat trips to Antilope Canyon.
"Great location"
The resort is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately it is the only hotel on the lake. The rooms are depressingly decorated and gloomy. The dinner menu looks like fine dining, but unfortunately because the dining room seats around 200+ people the food is mass produced careen fare. The advantage of staying here is for easy access to the boat trips. We […] felt the everything was overpriced. There wAs only one choice of eatery in mid October although the hotel seemed very busy. Very disappointing.
"Good scenery"
Only One What I `d like to say " Good scenery"
"Boaters' Delight"
If you're in the lower region of Utah and you own a boat, this is the resort for you. Right on Lake Powell near the town of Page. A little hard to find, but well worth the search.

"Very convenient"
Although "resort" is in the hotel name, this might be overstating it a bit. Having said that, this is a very nice hotel with a very nice restaurant on-site. And it is very convenient if you want to be close to the Lake or the marina. Our room overlooked the marina which was only about 100 feet away. Being that close was not a problem in any way (no […] noise). I would recommend staying here over staying 5 or 10 miles away in Page. The hotel is a little on the older side, but still very clean and maintained.
"Lake Powell Resort"
This resort was lovely in every way, except for the horrible bedding. No fitted sheet on the mattress, just a flat sheet that was too small to tuck in. We slept very poorly, due to always getting tangled in the bedding and ending up on the bare mattress. When we told the front desk, after our first night, the girl just laughed and said they heard that […] a lot. Our friends had the same experience. The boat tours they offer are incredible.

"Powell Lake"
Beautiful location! The hotel was good for the price. They could make improvements but over all very nice. Restaurant was OK too. I would stay there again in a minute. The pools are cold, that's my biggest complaint.

"Page AZ, close to Lake Mead and Colorado River"
The pool area was dirty. Many tiles missing from the pool and hot tub. It would have been nice to have the pool heated. It was very cold for September. More lounge chairs were needed and there should be no smoking. 2 guys were smoking cigars and smelling up the whole area.

"Lake powell resort in Page"
The hotel has a good location.. with nice boat tours. Not too many places to eat around but the two locations within the hotel were nice. The hotel is inside the Glen canyon national park so you have to pay for the park admission and we were not aware of that. Also hotels.com had told me i would get a room that was lake facing and we dint get that. In […] general was a nice resort for a relaxing two day stay.

"Bad place to stay"
Ugly 70,s style hotel in a wonderful place. Dirty rooms, expensive...
"Better than expected ... will be back for sure !!!"
Yes, its a little old and I generally have issues with "old" accomodations but had no real issues here as they do have things like nice shwoer, granite counters, comfortable beds, etc. Agree its not really "resort like" and might have been a bit less enjoyable if it was all about the room but we wwere there for boating Lake Powell so it was a place […] to stay the night. The grounds itself like the pools, grassy areas, sidewalks, etc were very nice. Views were awesome and having a patio to sit on and watch the sunset etc was awesome. Nice coffee shop, gift shop, lobby. The food was very good in my opinion ... breakfast buffet was great and we just did the bar for quicker service and had burgers and pizza which were great. Dinner needed reservations and seemed short on staff so skipped that. Prices were very fair on the bar food. Having a gas station was also very nice and gas was very reasonable to fill back up my boat, pick up ice, etc. They could use a few more boat parking spaces for the holiday weekends. It is a small town and for being their on a major holiday it was still very well run. Mostly college aged servers, etc. but they did a good job. Last Lake Powell visit we shore camped and having a nice hotel to return to was so much nicer and we never even went back into town for anything. Burned a little more fuel in the boat returning to the hotel but compared to all the junk you have to bring to camp it was a much more pleasant trip staying here. A lot of tour buses do come through and many staying so that also added to the experience to hang out with others. No problems with our hotels.com reservations even when other sites claimed it was sold out.
"Overall condition is bad"
The price is ridiculously expensive. Don't use this hotel ever.
"check in times"
don't think about checking in early. I was 1/2 hr. early & waited in line only to find out we had to come back in another 1 1/2 hrs. The reseervation says 3:00 check-in, but the hotel said it's not until After 4.
"BROKEN REFRIGERTOR"
THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT WORKING, THE FIRST CALL VERY PROMPT AND TRIED TURNINGTHE REFIG. UP. WHICH NOT WORK, 2ND CALL ALSO VERY PROMPT AND THEY REPLACED THE REFIG. NO PROBLEMS AFTER THAT.
"I would stay here again!"
We had some issues on the night of check-in. Most notably, we could not reach the hotel via the published phone number after 6pm. We wanted to do a late check-in, but the answering machine kept telling us to call back tomorrow. I called Hotels.com, and they assured me that my reservation was guaranteed until midnight. It was VERY difficult to find […] the resort in the dark. There are no lights out beyond the Glen Canyon Dam, there is poor signage, and we were using GPS, but when my GPS said we had arrived, we were actually in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rock formations. We kept going, and eventually, we happened upon the resort. We arrived just after 10pm, and the manager was on-duty. He answered all of my questions, gave me my room keys, and we were off to the room. Except our room keys didn't work. We called the front desk, and the maintenance man arrived with new keys, but they also did not work. His master key did not work. The room was bolted from the inside. Well, long story short, someone was in the room and had bolted the door from the inside. The hotel had no record of anyone registered to that room, and they had cleared the room for check in when the cleaning staff hadcome through earlier in the day. My family sat on the floor in an un-airconditioned hallway on the 2nd floor for more than two hours amid all of our luggage, which we had to drag up the stairs because there is no elevator. Finally, the manager found us a room (I think it was one that was reserved, but the occupants had not shown up, and after midnight, the room became available, but I'm not sure). We had the added inconvenience of dragging our luggage down the stairs, clear across the property, and up some more stairs before we finally arrived at our room in building 7. It was so pitch black, I knew we had book a lake view room, but I sure couldn't see any lake, or anything else off the balcony. The room was cozy, and it was fairly clean, so we settled in. I need to mention that once

"Lake Powell Resort - Right at the marina"
Friendly staff and comfortable, clean room allowed for a very pleasant weekend away. I suggest upgrading to the deluxe lakeview room, as I did, to enjoy the beautiful view of lake powell from your spacious balcony. I decided to do this trip on a motorcycle and it turned out to be a perfect day ride from Phoenix. I wouldn't necessarily clasify this […] as a "resort" but it does have dining options on site. After I was unable to locate the room service menu in the room, I called the front desk only to discover that they were in the process of printing room service menus and was told I could come to the lobby to pick one up. (Kind of defeats the purpose of room service) I imagine they will have them in the rooms soon. That's really the only suggestion I can come up with to improve the experience. I chose the Antelope Canyon boat tour and even though it was raining for part of it, I was very pleased with that choice. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Hope this information is helpful!
"Not exactly a resort...."
I have to second an earlier review - same experience. Great location with the great view across the lake. Convenient for booking and catching a lake cruise - we did the canyon cruise and enjoyed it. But the building and rooms reminds me of a college dorm. The hallways are run down. The shower curtain / rod was too high spilling water all over the floor. […] The bathroom fan spewed out heat (maybe to dry the floor). Room air conditioning doesn't have a thermostat(runs continuously) and was noisy, Would hardly call this a resort.
"Overpriced"
Room was okay. A/C was noisy and clanked and gurgled all the time. No elevator to second story room. Hassle to haul luggagge up and down. Sliding glass door did not lock. Just had a bar to put down that was not explained to guests at check-in. Lighting was poor in room. Restaurant food was good. Wait service was slow at times. Our server was good, however, […] other servers seemed more intent on socializing with each other. Value/price paid for food was good at restaurants. Value/price paid for room was unacceptable.
"Lake Powell resort is where you want to be."
Great location. The resort offers boating excursions that leave right from the hotel.
