Overall very pleasant accomodations,very clean rooms,breakfast was hot with choices of cereals,toasts,juices,eggs sausage,yogurts...next door..... charter boats for hire,a brazilian steakhouse and also a seafood buffet and bikes for free. The grounds are beautiful and close to everything. I use to stay at Holiday Isle but this will be new destination from now on!

I absolutely enjoyed my one night stay at this place! It was very relaxing!! The facilities include quite a few hammocks to lounge in and beautiful views of the water. We lucked out and had great weather and fabulous breezes. I definitely would recommend this to anyone. The price for the level of quality especially in higher season was excellent. Not a good place to stay if you care at all about your room. Only mirror was vanity in bathroom. Floors are not level. No divide between bed and stove. Bed and pillows were not acceptable.

My husband and I went there last year for a quick anniversary getaway and absolutely fell in love. We just went back last week and we're looking forward to going again.

Nice quite setting right on the water, two pools, clean comfortable rooms , with complimentary hot breakfast. We had an efficency with kitchenette and a view.

We were in the area to fish for a few days, and found the location great. Perhaps it was due to the Spring Break Season, but the room rate was very high, for the services provided. However the room was nice, and the screened porch was a nice bonus.

Nice place.... had a quaint one room studio....laid back as all things in the keys should be...one complaint. Toilet started running in the middle of the night. The hotel is" dated", and it shows its age. Grounds are kept nicely, and the scenery and views can be spectacular, depending on the unit's location. Prices are way too high even for February. Next time we are visiting, we would prefer an oceanfront room but off season!

The setting can't be beat! Beautiful hotel, service was excellent, beach was very nice. Don't plan on snorkeling off the beach, very shallow. Breakfast was very nice. Would definitely return!

We took advantage of an inexpensive upgrade and completely enjoyed our stay. Will will be staying there again soon!

We booked our stay only a few weeks out and were a bit tenatitve about what it would be like. We got an ocean-view room w/a balcony, and we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! There was a free breakfast every morning with amble choices; hot coffee, juices, cereals, muffins, scrambled eggs & bacon, toast, fresh fruit, etc. We look forward to going back again and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the Keys now that we've stayed here! We stayed only one night at the resort and would have liked to stay longer. We enjoyed our time there thoroughly and were happy to have chosen this place. People were friendly and helpful, resort offered all you might need and we can only recommend this place.

It was nice but very dead - I think we were one of only 5 people there - But have to remember is low season ( Sept ) We could not get a Drink at Pool Bar ( Not open ) - But It was Clean / grounds kept very well - Quiet + Nice Stay - Just needed our cocktails :(

We had room 404 - a deluxe ocean view. The view was fabulous but make sure you get a room starting at 404 or 504 & higher - better views. Room was small & beds were hard - it was tight. Hotel is old and room is nothing fancy. Grounds are so amazingly beautiful you wouldn't want to be in the room anyway. It is clean and staff is nice. Can't wait to go back! Worth the money.

Nice property with diverse and spacious sea access, pools and nice garden. Good atmosphere. Shallow waters. We had planned one night in Key West, and that was more than enough. In retrospect, we could preferably have stayed another night or two here.

I think they should add a TIKI bar and probably upgrade their rooms so more.

Great location and staff. Not so clean pool and room, need improvement. Overall, we had a nice stay at Chesapeake Resort. Definitely a family place.

This is not way I think of when I think resort. There is no beach to speak of really and you can't get into the water. I was also woken up at 7 am by a sand dragging machine, loud and very unpleasant. The only ammenities are the pool and hot tub. We chose this hotel according to pics and closness to our activities we had planned. The room was nice, a little small, but we were going to be out anyways.Nice for the price.

We wanted a last minute relaxing getaway to the Keys, without driving all the way down to Key West. The Chesapeake Beach came through. The property is compact, with the available kayaks and paddle boats being a big plus. We loved staying at the Chesapeake hotel and would like to go back and bring our kids. There was lots to do close by and restaurants within walking distance. The views and sunrise were amazing.

they never furnished the room back the way it should be when they would clean never replaced coffee cups or condements for coffee so had none after the 1st day wouldnt leave soap and 1 day forgot the floor towel for bathroom took a while to get it when ask and brought the wrong towel brought a bath tub mat which we never had to begin with (so were we […] suppose to have that at the beginning?) もっと読む
