The hotel itself was great. The parking was convenient. The restaurant waitress was so nice and helpful. The front desk staff needed some help in customer service, rude, smartalick, completely not professional. Overall I would stay. again. Hopefully the front desk staff gets a lesson in manners.

It was clean and comfortable. If it was only closer to the French Quarter, it would have been perfect. We got lost a couple of times driving, but finally found our way. The room was very nice. I was very disappointed to discover they charge 9.95 per day for internet - that seems excessive.

The lobby is so clean and beautiful, and the staff there is very polite. They helped us with a speedy check in. The elevators ran smoothly, and club level was very nice. Only downside is that the room doesn't have a refrigerator or a microwave, but we were only there for one night anyways. I did a last minute booking through hotels.com. Great experience! Staff was friendly. Club level attendant was friendly and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to find us after my 64 year old mother left her cane in the breakfast area. We did book with a free breakfast and with the warning from previous reviews, I printed out my hotels.com confirmation […] in case there would be an issue in getting the free breakfast. Upon check-in, I mentioned the breakfast and she asked if I had a copy of the confirm because hotels.com DOES NOT send the hotel the info about the free continental breakfast. My family and I stayed here for two days over spring break. I really liked how the parking garage was attatched to the hotel so that you could park right outside your floor ,that made it very convenient. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I have stayed at quite a few Sheraton's and this one does NOT live up to the name. The service was bad...they didn't care about us at all. They had no clue that there was an option for free breakfast. They were actually upset that they had to give us breakfast. The beds were also very uncomfortable. All in all, it was a very bad experience.

This hotel received good ratings so I booked a room. The room was nice but the maid service was poor at best. The used coffee filter from a previous guest was left in the coffee maker, I did not receive clean towels my first day nor second day. I had to call to get clean towels my first day then on the second day I called to get clean towels and the […] soiled ones remvoved but never received any. The hotel guest services went the extra mile. When we asked for a great local restaraunt to eat she didnt just tell us about the restaraunt she printed out their menu and direction. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The hotel restaraunt breakfast buffet was to tasty.

This was my first stay by myself in a hotel. I felt safe and quite comfortable. The room was close to the workout room, but it was still quiet. I even enjoyed working out in the quiet workout room. Very clean, comfortable and close to French Quarter. I wish it had better priced or more options in breakfast service.

The hotel had been totally refurbished, and was lovely. The negatives were the closing of the restaurant during hours of the day and the fact that we had to keep calling the desk for towels, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. Don't know why that was such a problem at such a nice new hotel. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant.

Our luggage did not arrive until the following day. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had the essentials

The hotel is on a contemporary style,very quiet and peaceful. I was able to check in early, and the staff was excellent. Did I mention goose down bed and pillows. I highly recommend it to everyone. On top of that hotel.com is cheap.

Hotel is conveniently located between suburbs and New Orleans. Easy access to interstate. Very safe neighborhood and covered parking. Loved our stay...despite the elevator not working properly daily. We stayed on the club level which needed a card access. Only 1 elevator worked at times & sometimes none. Staff always apologizing and corrected problem […] each day but still a hassle. It was a bit off the beated path since we were visiting French Quarters but found that the hotel was easily accessible as it was very close to expressway which led to downtown and Frensch Quarters. Very nice hotel, nice stay!

Since Mardi Gras caused all of the downtown hotels to fill up and / or charge 4 times the usual rates, we opted for the Metarie Sheraton and were extremely impressed. It was very easy to get onto 10 to be in New Orleans in minutes and just a few miles from the airport. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and accomodating. Our trip was great!

I had I wonderful stay at this hotel on Feb.17, 2012. They employees there were very accommodating especially one in particular a front desk attendant named Kebron (I believe the spelling is correct) he was absolutely efficient. I give my experience 5 stars.

Called three times to confirm room with kingsize bed and was given double beds, then had to find a room with king after checking in to double bed room. Hotel room safe is actually a safe deposit box behind checkin. Small boxes with afew bigger ones. Did nt see enough boxes for whole hotel. There was a huge wedding celebration there at the time (Jordanians etc). There were people all over the place from outside the hotel. They tore it up... cops had to come. Children kept running up and down the hall.. pulling fire alarms. Someone had overriden the elevator and even homeless people were up on the 7th floor.. which is club level. Horrible […] experience. Great place to stay very nice and up to date. However the staff could be a little more courteous. As the front desk clerk got an attitude several times with my group.

Very nice facility, free parking garage part of building. Did not use food or bar service but nice facilities in lobby. Was a little concerned when I checked in late afternoon that the loud conversations in the hall would be distracting as the noise carried even though the hall is carpeted. Definitely over-delivers for the price. New, modern decor and very clean.

Called the Sheraton on the morning of my reservation to identify a late arrival and check on shuttle service. There would be no problem with either, just call upon arrival and the shuttle would be sent. The shuttle was very fast but on the way to the hotel the driver passed me her cell phone and the hotel clerk stated that they had oversold the rooms. […] They could arrange for us to stay at the Holiday Inn across the street. Disappointed in price.

This is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions. My room was newly remodeled and clean. I enjoyed the new Samsung flat screen TV. The only thing that I would recommend them to change is to have wireless Internet free of charge to guest in their rooms. They did offer free wireless in the lobby.
