ハイ カントリー イン (High Country Inn)格安予約

2011年の8月上旬に4泊しました。ここをベースにあちこちに出かけたのですが、お部屋が一階でエントランスに近かったので出たり入ったりに便利でした。コンチネンタルの朝食がインクルードされているのもお得感ありました。地下にコインランドリーもあり洗濯もできて助かりました。全体的に古い建物なのでエアコンが音がうるさいです。バンフ・アベニューに面しているので窓を開けると車の音が気になります。ダウンタウンには歩いて5分ほどなので夕食や買い物にも便利です。

Ive been to Banff about 30 times, and never stayed at the High Country Inn. I was plesently suprised with the cleanliness and decor at the hotel. How ever, i was really irritated when our power in our room kept going out, ( i mean everything tv included) and all we had on was 2 lights the TV and a blow dryer. (Power went off twice) We called the front […] desk and the lady seemed to be familiar with the problem and had the power back on in no time. Also i was not pleased with the breakfast at all... The Breakfast room was a bit dingy, (not as nice as the rest of the hotel) and the food wasnt very yummy at all, (bagels were hard) etc. we ended up going out for breakfast some where else. もっと読む

filled out the satisfaction card but did not hand it in upon check out, there was not a box to put it in. questions were: #1. Was the reservation was handled efficiently? a 5. #2. Did the check in occur smoothly? a 5. #3. Was the room clean? a 3. #4 Was the room well maintained? a 2. #5 Was the staff friendly and helpful? a 2. Did the High Country Inn […] meet my expectations? a 1. Back of the card was indicated for more info: dirty cups in rms, sticky food residue on tables in the rm and in the breakfast rm. Broken springs in chairs in the rm. curtains not on tracks properly making it very difficult to use, same for shower curtain. Continental breakfast not enough choices to have a balanced meal. Both diabetics & had to go out to eat a balanced meal. Moldy fruit in fruit bowl at breakfast. Dirty tables in breakfast rm, @ early time. Staff in general could use some customer service training. Questions were answered in a very curt manner. While the use of carts and equipment are necessary for cleaning staff to perform their duties, blocking the hallways with such is not. I was on crutches while staying there & I have done this type of work myself. Even a feigned attempt of consideration would have gone a long way. Main reason we choose to stay was the location and the fact that the continental breakfast was included. The breakfast was inadequate it was of little value to us. This is an older hotel and the room we stayed in is in need of refurbishing and repair. The noise from the hallways and the surrounding rooms disturbed our sleep especially when the showers started in the early morning. The continental breakfast was adequate. The hot tub was not hot but the area was clean.

Awesome location, very close to the ski hills, and a walking distance to down-town Banff. Good breakfast provided and a great pool for children to enjoy themselves in.

When we arrived in the room the toilet still had the last persons pee in it. The pool chlorine levels were so high that my children had rashes on their bodies. and the hottub by the mens change room was so hot that no one could enter. The breakfast was good had it been refilled in a timely fashion.

I would recomment this hotel as it is in walking distance of the Banff townsite,shops, bars, etc. The hotel is a little dated in some area's but very clean. The hot tub's and pool are a very nice feature - along with a sauna. They offer a great breakfast that is beyond fresh and filling.

Hotel was alright, room with two queen beds was big, people were nice and it had underground heated parking.

For a standard room I found the room to be comfortable with a lot of space to walk around in and get ready! Loved that we had a balcony and the front desk staff were awesome! Very accommodating and helpful! The continental breakfast here was also great, I haven't experienced one that good in a long time! Will definitely return to this hotel!

Stayed with my kids for a weekend of skiing. Had adjoining rooms. For the price really was great value and so close to downtown. Would stay again.

The service was great, updated need to be done, and house cleaning really needs to improve. Just take a second look before leaving a room and see what you think. And the chlorine leavels in the hot tubs were way to high.

Considering the rates at the High Country Inn, it's a good place to stay. The property is a bit dated, but our room was comfortable and clean. My original room selection was "lost" somehow, and we were first put in a standard room when I'd booked a Junior Suite. I have gone to Banff every year for the last 4 years and every time I have stayed in a different hotel. This hotel was by far the worst hotel. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I hated this hotel. Our room was the first room just off the lobby and facing the main street. With two young children tired from all the driving and the noise […] generated from the lobby (and the street), I simply asked to have a different room assigned to us at check-in. The lady at the front desk sympathized, but would not reassign us a different room as "all rooms are assigned by the night auditor and I cannot change it." (Little does she know that I worked in a hotel before as a front desk agent and know how the system works. With some effort, reassigning a room for us would have been NO PROBLEM.) But hey, apparently the doors leading from the lobby to the rooms are closed by the hotel staff at a certain time of the evening and a promise was made that all will be quiet and peaceful after that. On our first evening, we were awoken at about 3 A.M. by a group of 5 loud teenagers who occupied the room across from ours. At first I could hear the front desk agent laughing and joking as loudly as the guests at the front desk. (Perhaps someone had forgotten to close the door leading to the rooms?) Then one of the teenagers realized how the door operates and started opening and closing it...guess he wasn't used to doors - as I'm thinking he grew up in a cave somewhere. The teenagers then proceeded to scream and party it up in their room, but hey, who needs to close the hotel room door??? It's only 4 A.M. - everyone should be awake at this point. Keep in mind that NOT ONCE, through all of this noise did the front desk agent step in to quieten them down. At least, not until I called him and literally FREAKED out. We chose the Hotel for it's location and price. Our stay in Banff was only for one night. The staff were pleasant and the hotel was clean. It had an "Inn-like" atmosphere. The continental breakfast was adequate, but we would have appreciated fresh fruit to go with the yogurt and granola. The Inn is within a couple of blocks to downtown Banff. This hotel isn't bad for the price. It is in much need of some updating and it could use a coat of paint on the garage, but the rooms are quite decent.

Very convienient to downtown. Only drawback was the train blowing his whistle everytime it went through town.

We stayed two nights, the carpet on balcony was a little worn, but the overall comfort of the room was very good.

The facilities are basic and you pay for the central location in Banff. We paid extra for a one bedroom, mountain view apartment. Save your money and stay in a standard room because the extra is not worth it. Walk out the door and fantastic mountain views are all around. The living space was small with two basic armchairs. The room was dusty and the beds not made properly.... and high speed internet not working...None of the staff could help us out and they wanted to charge for the use of their computer in the main entry.

I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Banff. Cheap, friendly & convenient.

AC was noisy, fan control not working Toilet is too small Carpet feels dirty Too few electric outlet, one not functioning TV remote not working Continental breakfast is ok.

Easy walking distance to everything. Air conditioning worked well and good underground parking. Would stay there again for sure. Good value.

The hotel was within good walking distance to the main town of Banff. Also many well known restaurants were close by and easy to access. Also we found the hotel to be very quiet. Our room had a balcony from which you could view the mountains which made it relaxing.

The room is ok but what i hate was the parking lot... There was no proper maintenance and we cant find a parking when we came 11pm in the 2nd night of our stay... Which sucks!!!! so we end up parking at the back side on the bus parking.... They should put a designated number in the parking lot based on what room u stayed..

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, clean room. Reasonably priced. Great location. Close to good food, drink and shopping. The only complaint is the underground parking is too tight. Received alot of door dings. Park above ground "if" you can find a spot.

Nice hotel, quiet and comfortable. It was a quick walk to the main section of banff ave. Get up early for the free breakfast, supplies are limited.

Hotel is a bit dated but relatively comfortable. Staff was great. The breakfast was only refined sugar and carbs of the worst kind. Location was perfect; right outside downtown Banff.

Floors everywhere dirty, not vacuumed, light switches and various handles very dirty, did not want to touch them. Everything was good other than that. Do I have a very high standard? Yes

This hotel is located in a very convenient location- walking distance to downtown. Nice size indoor pool with top and side glass so you don't feel enclosed within 4 walls - water could be a little warm though. Breakfast is included and there was sufficient food to keep us satisfied..all you can eat- waffles, toast, bagels, 3 types cereals, muffins, […] oatmeal, yogurt, coffee & juice - this saved us from having to spend more $ elsewhere. Upon checking in our room, our sink & toilet were plugged - we received immediate service from the hanyman named "Rob" - we were very pleased with his kind demeanor, he fixed our problem and was very helpful in answering questions with regards to tourist attractions etc. not to mention was always very nice to us when seeing us within the hotel!! We had to wait for breakfast. Continental, but there was nothing when we arrived so we had to wait for a while for them to bring more! Not te cleanest place in the world either.

Rooms were clean and big. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The location was also good, close to the downtown shopping area and restaurants. I was disappointed when they gave us a room with faulty aircondition unit. They said they could not transfer us to another room at that time because there's no available room with 2 queen beds. They should […] have closed that room and not be available for booking.. The next day they quickly gave us a better room with balcony so we were still pleased overall. もっと読む
