The staff was very friendly and helped with everything we needed, and we actually got a double room with 2 bathrooms, which was very spacious. The pull out couch was VERY uncomfortable and old, and you can hear everyone use the showers in other rooms. The breakfast was pretty decent with eggs and toast, pastries, cereal, juice...

One of the nicest places I've stayed. Great breakfast and good location. Warm pool and friendly staff

This older motel with exterior hallways and doors is, perhaps, in need of an update. The rooms were a bit aged. We had a 2x queen room and noticed that both beds sagged in the middle. My wife was comfortable enough, but I was not. Doors on the entertainment center would no longer close partly due to needed hinge maintenance and partly due to the size […] of the refrigerator inside. The room was mostly clean (they missed one trash can) and had a very convenient second sink outside the bathroom in case a shower left the bathroom mirror too foggy to use. Tiny microwave in room which we did not use. Convenient pool & hot tub. Exersize room is equipped with the standard stuff. Complementary breakfast was the usual assemblage of pastries, breads you can toast yourself, cereals, milk, yogurt, and hot scrambled eggs (tasted like they were from a powder) and sausages (get your fat quotient for the day). There is a common room with a pool table, if you are so inclined. We did not know about this until breakfast the next day. The room did not appear to have anything in it spelling out the amenities available or the locations of local restaurants. Motel location is very convenient to 118 and Simi Valley. If you have some time, we recommend the Reagan Presidential Library which is just a few miles away - especially the old Air Force One which is inside the beautifully appointed building and may be toured through. Summary: if you are looking for something convenient to the road and you don't mind aging stuff, this motel is clean enough and convenient enough if the price is low. The young man at the desk was polite and very helpfull Our room was fine, The breakfast was very good. The breakfast attendant was helpful and polite. For our short stay, we were very satisfied.

All was good, except the floor creaked above me, but I think there was a heavyset individual who preferred to mill about in the evening and in the morning. Other than waking me up, the hotel is quite nice.

Hotel is located accross the street from high way exit and entrance we were there for Little League playoffs. Nice swimming pool semi shaded by large trees. The morning buffet was great. Shopping and other restaurants are within walking distance. Mid afternoon chocholate cookies in the lobby were great. good location to I 5 and Reagan Library-easy walk to good restaurant next door --great breakfast

The continental breakfast was great. The staff member in charge of the food marea was exceptional and a wonderful warm greeter. We enjoyed the entire hotel.

The Holiday Inn is as advertised. Quality was good and the personnel were courteous. I would suggest that they provide key cards that last the whole stay so that you don't have to be locked out and have to go to the front office to get them replaced -- which is what happened to me.

I had confirmation for a room with two beds for myself and sister but was told by front desk clerk it was not on their computer and they could not accomadate me. I asked for another room and was told "We will look into it" and "I'll get back to you" Never Happened! The phone stopped working the second day as well as the clock alarm but when I called […] the front desk I was told they could not send anyone up to check it out. The hotel was close to the freeway and easy to find. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly.

My family and I enjoyed this Hotel very much. We have made a final decision that we will stay in no other hotel except Holiday Inn Express. It worked for my purposes when traveling in the area for business. Hotel grounds were clean enough; it was laid out like a cheap motel (exterior facing hallways overlooking an old pool in middle of courtyard. Elevator took like 3 minutes and it is only 3 stories. Rooms need to be updated and didnt' feel that clean. Furniture was old, beds were old, […] carpet was kind of stained. However, it wasn't terrible for a one-night-stay. It is next to an El Torito Restaurant and they give you a discount if you show your room key. For the price I paid, I wouldn't recommend it. Room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast o/k, location perfect for my needs. The desk will not cash travelers American Express cheques which is a pain.

The jacuzzi suite was very spacious and nice. The complimentary breakfast was very enjoyable. The breakfast room attendant could not have been more friendly. She was a wealth of knowledge and very helpful with any travel questions and suggestions. Nice location to the Reagan Library, many restaurants and shopping.

Nice...felt upscale and was very comfortable. Good breakfast! Very friendly and helpful young lady on the desk.

Enjoyed our stay very much...the staff was very helpful and friendly.....when we checked in the girl at the front desk was very nice....and good at her job. Loved our room with the jacuzzi tub.

We were very satisfied with the accomdations, proximity to the meeting site and businesses. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. That was an unexpected dellight and enhanced our stay at this hotel. My wife says we have to make sure future stays have jacuzzis in our rooms. The staff were great. The hotel was comfortable. The shower was not cleaned when I came in late in the evening. Found out the next morning ( hair ball and used shampoo and soap left in shower). Only 1 elevator to get to the 3rd floor was inconvenient for checking in and out with suit cases. there was construction on the neighboring rooms and our smelled like dust or cement. You should clean the back side of the front door, had handprints on room 311

Would not stay here again. It did not seem clean and was in need of an overhaul. They put us in a handicapped room which to us is a no-no as we have a good friend who needs such a room.

This hotel is being renovated. The exterior rooms on the Northside of the hotel are extremely dark. The staff was friendly and accomodating, but the rooms are small and the facility is quite old and dated. Overpriced for the age and condition of the hotel, however, the location is very handy to the Mall and freeway.

The hotel was okay, but we were very unhappy because you had all the NBC stations and not Fox News. We could not watch what we wanted, and that was very, very uncomfortable. Different viewpoints are really the right way to go.

A cut above your average Holiday Inn Express, our room was huge, spotlessly clean and equipped with a whirlpool bath. Built around a central courtyard with a pool, this hotel is well worth the reasonalble price. The desk staff recommended a great local steak house and could not have been more helpful for friendly. Recommend it highly.

The room was clean and comfortable. The wireless internet was quite fast. The breakfast good, and in a nice, clean room. Air conditioner was noisy on the high fan setting, but reasonably quiet on the low setting (only the two settings). Would go back.

Stayed for 1 night in February 2010. Very convenient if visiting the Reagan library. Rooms were clean, quiet and had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good and breakfast room was clean. Great value for what we paid. Quick drive on city streets to the Presidential Library from the Hotel.

I was staying one night in Simi Valley for a business meeting so I wanted a place close to the freeway at a decent price. This hotel definitely qualified for both of those requirements. Although the room was pretty comfortable, I couldn't get over the initial smell of the room when I entered. I'm sure not all of the rooms smell like mine did but it was something that I definitely remember. Stayed here as it was close and convenient to visit the Reagan Library. Quick check-in, rooms were clean and everything we wanted. Breakfast in the morning hit the spot. Very short drive on city streets to get to the Library. I would recommend this property. Clean, quiet, great value for your money and convenient.

Room was very clean and staff was very helpful and courteous. Close to freeway, shops, and restaurants.
