poor customer service, poor cleanliness, smell of room was musty and did not feel comfortable

I was not satisfied with the hotel. The clerk tried to charge my card again not realizing that it was prepaid. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. It appeared as though they were remodeling and forgot to inform their customers. I think I noticed a leak because there was water on the floor when I came back to the room after work. the toilet seat was broke where it fastens to the toliet,,,,,,the remote to the tv didnot work,,,,,,,and the room had a musty smell

It was a pleasant stay. I would stay here again. Free wifi was a plus , most places charge you. Rooms were clean. It not was noisy.

The Hotel was fine, clean and tidy, breakfast was ok, but not enough seating we had to stand and eat in the very small reception. We were led to believe it was in Galvenston. NO!! 25 miles away, $50 in a taxi as not on a bus route. Staff had no idea about how to get there or even taxi's to call. Unsuitable with a 4 year old child.

The roomi itself was okay for a super 8. But pricey. And the tv screen was green. The remote did not work, the ice machine was out of service and the front desk staff was surely. Would not stay there again.

We recently took a cruise out of Galveston and had a very enjoyable overnite stay at your motel. Both my husband and myself , along with our son and daughter-in law were very happy with our accomadations and hope to return again next year when once again we cruise out of Galveston. Plans had gotten messed up for the weekend and we had to get this motel at the last minute. There were available rooms in La Marque instead of Galveston where we originally had reservations, but could not keep them for that night. First not suitable supplies in room for 2 people, so when we called the next morning for more supplies, the lady at the […] front desk was rude and told us to come get them, instead of asking us to or saying she would get someone to bring it to us, which should have been the way it was done in the first place. Most motels we have stayed at serve continental breakfasts till 10am....but here was only till 9 and she was rude to tell us that also. Very basic hotel room. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a lot of traffic noise from the nearby road in the afternoon; however, after working hours the traffic ceased and the room was very dark and quiet during the night. The hotel was a few miles from Schillerbahn Water Park (about a 13 mile interstate ride). The room was clean but a little outdated. The front desk girl was nice and allowed us to check in early which was a plus after the drive from North Louisiana. The front desk lady was not very efficient. She was extremely slow. Very frustrating. We were supposed to have a non-smoking room but apparently, we were booked for a smoking room. She fixed this for us though. Not happy about the entire experience as a whole.

Attendant at the desk was very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Missed having a pool however.

I like to look sharp but ironing on a half board is rough. Also my room had a strong odor, like to much air freshener or something.

The only thing that I could say was a disappointment was that there was no swimming pool. Everything else was great.

Hotel was clean enough for just a few hours of sleep... asked for downstairs, got upstairs. Will not stay at this location again. Other Super 8's that we have stayed at before were much better.

It's not fancy, it's an affordable room to crash in when you're done with the day's activities. Near enough to Kemah and Galveston that we had plenty of time for the Boardwalk and Moody Gardens in a long weekend without too much drive time. Checkout time was 11 AM. At 10:30, my wife and I were finishing getting ready, and the front desk called our room to ask us if we would be checking out. They also told us we needed to hand-deliver the key card to the front desk when we left - I've never been asked to do that before, and there is no point in doing that when housekeeping would be through […] shortly anyway. If you find me in my room at checkout time, then I have not checked out - it's not my responsibility as a paying guest to let you know I've left. And if checkout time is 10:30, then don't say it's 11 AM. Also, the shower had mold and hair, and the bed sheets were damp. Other than the rude staff, the hotel was comfortable for the most part. Near from galveston if you are going to a cruise and if dont want to spend a lot Of money in a hotel in galveston this is the right hotel. 20 minutes from galveston and in the same highway

We only needed the hotel for the night to sleep & it met those needs perfectly, its right off the interstate and about 5 mins from Kemah which we highly recommend. Hotels workers were great they are doing some remodeling so it should make it look even better. It was quiet area, clean room, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel employees were nice and did thier best. hotel was fine for the money . it does need a pool . the staff was fine and very friendly.

Older motel, clean and quiet. We choose this location since we were visiting both Kemah and Galveston and this was midway between them. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. Our room was small, but cozy and was very clean with good accommodations including microwave/mini fridge. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and stayed 3 days very comfortably. I would definitely stay at this Super 8 again.

The hotel was close to freeway but not so close to hear traffic. 45 min. to houston and 30 to galvenston. The room was clean and ready every day when we got back. We were there 4 days and had no problems. The picture of motel is a little dated the motel is not new but O,K.

The only thing i did not like about this place was that the room was kind of small. But the location was very nice. It was only fifteen minutes away from Galveston, just far enough that you didnt have to worry about the hustle and bustle of all the tourists. We had a non-smoking room with a kingsize bed. The room had a kind of baby powder smell, not so pleasant. It was pretty small; a bed, a small desk, shower, and no room left. The shower water power was not strong. I turned the shower off, but it kept dripping. The room air conditioner does not have thermostat, was very loud, and 2 choices: low and high […] . We kept it low, but it was too loud to sleep. I had to wake up in the middle of night a few times to turn it off and on. I barely had an hour sleep straight because of the air conditioner noise. It says, WIFI, and the grandma at the front gave us a password. But the password did not work. There was no computer or printer for customers. We had to go to other place to print a boarding pass. I felt like the hotel was very clean, until I found two pair of womens underwear. My 10 month old baby was tring to play with them. Other than that the hotel was clean. I would stay there again,I would just make sure to look under the bed.

Our air condition conveniently turned off at random periods throughout our stay. Our toilet was not securely fasten to the floor. However the King sized bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Over all I got what I paid for which was a place to sleep. For the price, it was worth driving a few extra miles from the hotel to Galveston. The only thing I didn't care for was the shower. I'm an average size person but the shower head was lower than chest level on me. It was very difficult to bend down the whole time while trying to shower.

constantly changing water pressure, all the walls were 'patched' with paint, bed was very uncomfortable, walkways dirty, people hanging out in large groups and very noisy, carpet was gross.

it was just fine for what i paid.was very clean.quiet.great location. dont really have any complaints.will go back soon
