This place is rundown to the point where it should be closed. Filthy and nothing worked. When my toilet did not flush, I was asked to come to the front desk and get a plunger. The worst.

Hotel definitely needs some work. But all we did was sleep and shower in the room so it was adequate.

pros: big fluffy pillows, cable, internet, coffemaker, microwave, mini fridge, great location. Cons: 1.blankets are old, scratchy and loosing fluff. 2.room had really really strong odor of what smelled like a cross between a skunk and garbage. 3. steps leading to room were broken 4. vending machine had food 6 months past expiration 5. window is locked […] by a wooden dowel rod and only opens 4 1/2 inches. 6. free breakfast is stale cereal, old cream cheese, hard bagels, and what looks like homemade mini chocolate muffins. Doesnt look sanitary at all. 7. Need username and password to use the internet and even then, it still didnt work. 8. takeout advertisements constantly being left on doors, slid under door and left in room. 9. rooms are hideously ugly.... BUT.... already knew that thanks to photos of room. If it wasnt for the fact we were so tired, and had a non refundable room, we would have left asap. Perfectly adequate hotel if you are just staying over to watch a concert or sports event at the Greensboro Coliseum.

i travel a good amount for business and stay at 4 star and above. this place, a 2 star, for the price was great. the common areas were pretty awful and the room (non smoking) did smell a little like smoke. bathroom was clean. furniture was scratched. linens were clean. decor was outdated. free wifi was strong. given the pluses and minuses i would stay […] here again...with the caveat that the price is still low. もっと読む

For the money that I paid for the night, it was a good deal. The hotel was located near many restaurants and main streets, and the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. The continental breakfast was a joke, since the 'kitchen' was a tiny table in a cramped room. The worker was nice enough and took no offense when I asked the hours of the local breakfast […] retaurant. The only problem that I have with the Super 8 was that I did not get the room I paid for. I booked the room online more than two weeks before my scheduled stay. When my boyfriend and I arrived (after I called ahead and let them know our arrival time), they did not have the room that I booked. Instead of a King Smoking Room, we got a Double Smoking room for the same price. (I wanted to laugh when she said 'for the same price' because I was NOT going to pay extra for something that they should have had reserved in the first place.) Breakfast sucks. Beds need to be replaced

Not luxury but very nice for the money. I've stayed in more expensive rooms where there were things that didn't work. Everything worked here which was nice.

We stayed there to be close to greensboro coleseum not within walking distance but close enough. It was good ennough for a quick nignt. Bare bones nothing fancy. Hallways smell like cigarrette smoke but non smoking room didn't smell.

I stayed this at this super 8 in greensboro,nc in july 2011, it was an economy priced hotel with a continental breakfast that consisted of a couple donuts and some coffee and juice and nowhere so sit,so my recommendation is spend the twenty more dollars and stay somewhere nicier with a real breakfast. and a lounge area where you can sit.

I requested a non-smoking room I didn't think that i would be SURROUND with smokers. The room smelled so bad we did not stay!!!

I would not select this hotel again. THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!!!! I had several family members staying in this hotel for a family event. And one of the rooms had BUGS, I mean moving bugs in the BED. After investigation, I found out that they had to exterminate every month since Novemeber. AND still have bed bugs. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We stayed here for UNCG graduation. Would not recommend. The room had a bad smell and everything looked old and worn out. Front desk lady was nice but overall not a winner.

My bathroom sink was dirty. And the air conditioner filter was really dirty the mattress was very hard..

I would not recommend this hotel because, upon entering, the building was hot. The hallway was dirty in the corners and along the walls. Inside the room, the room was muggy and damp and had an awful smell. The water continuously ran in the bathtub, the stopper in the sink didn't work, blankets had holes in them and spots on them. Although the price was relatively low, the actual hotel was somewhat disappointing, considering the online photos of their facility.

This hotel was a great price for the time of year I went. It was North Carolina A&T State University's Homecoming and usually hotels try to jack up the prices sky high. Super 8 was extremely affordable and I plan to stay there again next year if they keep those prices. The hotel advertised mirco-fridges. The room did not have one. There were no irons or ironing boards in the room either. They were located at the front desk. I used it because it was cheap and I pretty much got what I paid for. Great location for the convention I had to go to.

While the hotel isn't what some that i have seen review in here a "outstanding High class extablishment" for the money and its proximity to the venue we were thee to see it was nice, comfortable, and convenient. We were just staying the night not planning on living there.
