I guess we got what we paid for- fairly inexpensive hotel=cheap in all aspects. The lack of cleanliness in the room was disgusting!

Nice, clean room. Staff was very accomodating. Breakfast was OK but could be upgraded. Easy to find location. Walking distance to downtown area. Parking a little tight. Good, solid, reasonable accomodations.

Good hotel, great breakfast. Just need bigger and softer pool towels.

This was my second stay at this hotel and won't be my last!!!!! The only problem I had was with the worn and poorly fitting drapes on the window,they REALLY need to replace them!!!!!!!!!

We had a great stay in Helen. The hotel was the perfect location for everything. Most everything in town was in walking distance. Good breakfast, warm pool and quite area.

Hotel staff very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The only problem I had was the people in the room next to me who were drinking and being extremely LOUD and using offensive language at 1:00-3:00 in the morning. I have stayed at this location a number of times. It's affordable and clean. The best part is that it's right in the heart of Helen and you can walk to anywhere in town.

We stayed there for a weekend. It was close to the attractions/shops of Helen. It was close to restaurants. All was in walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed the heated pool. A good way to spend a rainy day.

We loved out stay here an will be booking another trip here soon only thing I didn't like is the pool use it's indoors but you have to go outdoors to go to it which is no big deal in the summer but in the winter you'd freeze. No big deal overall I loved the hotel an our stay

The room was in a grate place ez to get to any place in Helen. The only bad was bug comming out of the wall in bathroom.

This Super 8 Motel was just as I expected. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. A good motel for the price.

We had no problems at all during our stay, the employees were nice, room was decent, and everything was fine. We were walking distance from everything in town. We just wanted a plain motel room and this is what it was.

Motel and staff are nice. Enjoyed our stay. We'll be back.

The people were great at the hotel. The shower walls were in need of removing the mold in the corners, the shower cutain rod was installed to high and the shower curtain was very close to the top eadge of the tub, the toilet was hard to flush, you had to hang on to the handle. They cleaned with vinegar which made the room smell musty.

Over all the hotel was centrally located in town. Was clean and hotel staff was very helpful.

Hotel has some age on it, but for the location, service, and price it was a good deal. The room was clean, coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day was a plus. The breakfast was more than just a danish and was certainly okay for the price you paid for the room. this was not a wheel chair accessible room The bathroom was large enough but the sink was pushed to the corner so that it was not conveniently accessible by wheelchair there were ample grab railings in the bathroom There was a shower chair but how does someone in a wheelchair get into a bath tub and up and onto a shower chair which had a hand held […] shower head great for someone 6' tall - not someone sitting on a shower chair needless to say it was a sponge bath but for only one night it was tolerated staff at the office stated all handicap rooms were the same - they even called around after we complained about what we were getting bathtub needs to be removed and hand held shower needed to be lowered for wheelchair bound guests It was necessary to leave the bathroom door open and bathroom light on all night in order to be able to use the facilities during the night. There was not enough room to maneuver a wheelchair around and into the bathroom. I personally felt the room was a joke as far as accessibility was concerned. In exiting the room there is a small height to the door tread. If not careful I could have over 'powered' to get over the tread and gone straight out and over a curbing. The handicap parking was in front of room 321 because the handicap ramp was in front of room 321 but we were assigned room 323??? who gives the OK for these accessible rooms? もっと読む

This place is run down and nasty. Stains on most everything... even the walls. Helen is a really nice town with some friendly people. Super 8 will make your memries of this place not too fond. I have no idea how anyone would give this place gets 4 out of 5. It was so dirty it made me and my wife uncomfortable just to be in it at all. Not the hilton but very nice,staff very friendley,great location walk to every thing, very satiisfied.

This hotel is just a short 3 minute walk to downtown Helen. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, and the hotel staff was AMAZING! Overall this hotel is a great stay!

Very dated hotel. Not worth the price you pay!

The room and the whole town of Helen is in great need of clean up and repair. Helen was once a great destination but the citizens and business owners are doing a disservice to the tourist by not keeping it maintained. Very sad to see how it has declined.

Great location, good breakfast, nice little indoor pool. Beds a bit tight for two people but we managed.

Stayed over a holiday weekend and it was the cheapest hotel in the area plus it had better ratings and reviews of some of the more expensive hotels. The hotel was nice, it was pretty clean. This is a mediocre hotel. The only good thing about it is the location. The indoor pool is no selling point. It is old, run down, and the enclosure is in poor, broken down shape. We stayed three nights and didn't get our room cleaned once because we were not up when they came by. The first day we told them we were leaving and to please service the room-but […] they did not. Older motel but very clean, quiet and comfortable. Short walk to all o the downtown attractions. Definitely a great value for the money.

I was very disappointed with the room and my stay. I loved this little hotel it was right in the middle of everything. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I will definitely be going back next year.

Hotel was comrortable and clean. The really only negative was that the mini-fridge did not stay very cold.

Pool is NOT HEATED. I had two children with me who were excited about swimming (which is why I booked the hotel with the advertised heated pool), and were disappointed because the water was unswimmably cold. Hotel itself is sort of worn and run-down, but nothing terrible.

Helen is great little tourist town in the Mts. We stayed there to ride motorcycles. The Hotel was clean, room good, short walk to "downtown" for meals and shopping. We bad the room on end and the wifi did not work in the room but worked fine in the outside sitting area. This a decent cheap hotel with a nice pool

We booked a king non-smoking room, which is what we got. They were renovating the lobby area, so we were upgraded to a jacuzzi king room @ no additional charge. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was comfortable & very clean, would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. its a typical motel 8 hotel. Don't expect too much and you will like it ok

The overall appearance of the hotel was not awesome, but the room was clean and comfortable and the location is within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in Helen.

Least expensive place I could find in Helen and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night.
