someone above me was smoking marijuana,it smelled horrible! I called the front desk 3 times and they did nothing about the situation!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived in our room it was obvious that the sink and bathroom area was not cleaned. We asked the woman out in the hall if it had been cleaned yet and she asked to see and we showed her the hair ties with hair, toothpaste spatter, soap goober, and other hairs. After 15-20 minutes she was gone. […] We went back into our room; the hirties were thrown away- that's it. You could tell the plastic platter that the coffee pot sits on had not been moved in weeks to clean under it, just wiped around it. We enjoyed our stay here . Would have been better if we had been on the first floor.The room was roomy & large.

The hotel accommodated our request for a ground floor room, because we had my 91 year old Mom with us.

It was a nice room and the staff was very helpful. The only thing I would recommend would be to update the bathroom fixtures, but for the price it was a great room.

a good service! I´ll come back in my next holidays

Don't stay here....ever! The appearance was very shabby and I was very disappointed with our stay in almost every way. The staff went into "clean" our room even though I expressed to the front desk that I did not want anyone in the room. An alarm clock in the unoccupied room next door went off 2 mornings in a row and woke us up early. I stayed during the Thanksgiving holiday and the price was much higher than usual. However, it was still the lowest in the immediate area. The room was as comfortable as always. The only problem was that I couldn't hook up a DVD player because the TV will not switch inputs.

The hotel staff was friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable, though it could use some upkeep. Comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The pool looked great, but we didn't try it because of the cool weather. Breakfast was not restocked soon enough, so when we went to the lobby at 8:15, it wasn't worthwhile waiting-in other words, don't count […] on the continental breakfast. The staff assisted me in all levels of my stay. I recommend Super 8 hotels to anyone, for value and convenience.

I was very well satisfied, the staff was friendly. It was in close proximity to several convenient departments stores and dining areas. Overall satisfied with motel.

This hotel was good and the price even better. The room was clean and I loved the fact that it had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. Both the mini fridge and microwave were working. Still has an older model tv but it was still good. Loved the fact that the pool was open until 11 pm. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is older, but is a great value. The hotel is comfortable, and the pool is suitable. The hottub also is relaxing. The breakfast in the morning certainly is better than some of the simple muffin and fruit that i've seen at other places. The hotel is about 5 min from large stores and major franchises. I've stayed at this location for the 2nd time. I've been content with my stay on both occasions. Disclaimer is that I did not pay much. So, I am looking at this review from a value point of view. The pool, room, and breakfast service alone was well worth the price. In addition, there is a little division in the room between the bed and couch. My fiancee […] and I had a little privacy from our little girl while she slept. So, we were able to talk without disturbing her. I didn't have a remote for the TV, but didn't watch it anyway. It is very acceptable according to what you pay. Im from MTY MX and I must say I have stayed in better hotels than this one, but their price were a little higher. In general terms it was ok after they cleaned the room...I mention this because when i did the check in (around 4pm) and went to the room, it was not cleaned. was not satisfied with the hotel at all. When we first got there the AC was not working we had to switch rooms. Also, spoke with the staff and she was very rude to us. This is the first time I have ever not been satisfied with a Super 8 motel. I do not recommedn this location.

I stayed n 3 rooms the few days I was there...1st room the air condition was broke n I asked atleast 3 times to have somethingto be done...finally moved me to the "jacuzzi suite" where the phone n the remote didnt work n there was no iron or blow dryer...then we had to move to another room after 1 nite because "it was booked" for the next day...the […] "assistant manager" had an attitude n threatened to just refund our money instead if fixing the problem... もっと読む

This motel is a little shabby. However, we received good service from the staff; the room looked clean, & the breakfast was adequate - eggs, sausages, cereal, milk & coffee. I'd stay here again. I recommend it to travelers who don't expect a larger chain hotel experience.

Maybe at a certain time like know its time to replace the old sheets, they smelled like detergent but, a couple of old stains were noticeable

everything was good , just we expecting to get our room cleaning everyday and get clean towels, but was ok we can handle to wait we stay just two days, but we have a good service.

I booked the rooms for my mother and my uncle for the weekend of my wedding. The staff was good enough to put the rooms together, on the first floor, and helped us out so much. Then after I left for my honeymoon, they were able to book rooms for my neighbors as well. It was a modest hotel; but, it was very well appreciated.

Everything was as advertised...OK, average, nothing exceptional, no disappointments.

I needed a room at the last minute. Convenient location for me, but I was hoping it would have been nicer. Staff was friendly, but the carpet in the room really needed a cleaning.

I cannot say enough nice things about this motel. Reasonable rates, wonderful staff, room was very comfortable and the manager was very accommodating. I originally booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. One of our party ended up having to have some extensive work done on their teeth so the manager fixed everything where we could have the same 2 rooms for 2 more […] nights...and the hotel was booked full the first night we were there. They had a wonderful continental breakfast...hot waffles, biscuits, sausage, eggs, cereal, bagels, toast, juice, coffee. Lots of people in dining area and everyone was very friendly along with the hotel staff who treated us all with the utmost of courtesy and consideration. The adjoining area had lots of restaurants, very close to Mexico, and easy access in and out of the property. Our room had microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator along with nice fresh coffee in the lobby all the time. Parking Lot is a bit crowded, but other than that, stay was as expected, Continental breakfast was going fast, but staff kept restocking it. Great value with hotels.com

Very comfortable bed, modestly but neatly decorated. Microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom could have used a better light bulb. Self-service breakfast was adequate. Great location for shopping,restaurants, trip to Progreso Mexico. Friendly staff, easy to find,quiet.

We arrived earlier that planned for and I was able to get another night at the hotel, except pain twice as much. Also I ended up switching rooms because of toilet problems. The staff was friendly and the facilites were kept clean at all times.

This room was very clean and well kept. THe service was great. It was a great room for the price. The only negative was the shower faucet wouldn't shut off completely and the shower valve was stuck so the shower couldn't be shut off.

If all you need is a bed to rest and a warm shower this is a fair choice. Close to Rio Grande Valley Outlets, Walmart, Lowes, very close too. WiFi free spot.

I got a great deal on this place! The staff was very helpful, and the pool was very clean! A great deal!

When we first arrived the service was slow at the window. There was nobody in line but us. When we made reservations we asked that all of our rooms be located within the same area, so they had to change that. Had to use the bathroom, the toilet did not act right, so I asked the lady if someone could come up there and unstopp it, she gave me the plunger. […] My son also had trouble with his toilet and I had to give him the plunger. Our sheets were ripped on one side and the bedspread smelled, so we left it on the floor.
