It was an amazing relaxing weekend break, after alot of work during the beginning of the year till now. Kempinski was the place to be. Very happy with the receptionist performance, Katrina :-) Keep it up:-)

I previously sent a complaint email and i did not get a reply as yet so it is for this reason that i am filling in this review. Main comments: - Very cold hotel, heating in room wasn't working, reported to maintenance and they did not turn up before 4 hours. To walk from indoor pool to the room we always froze as the corridors and lobby were always […] very cold. - I think putting in large carpets in the room will make the room cosier in the winter. - We ordered room service on both nights, however on the 2nd night we ordered an egg burger with no cheese and got delivered to our room a bun with a fried egg on it. This was sent back and a tiny slim burger was put on the bread roll. (which was not like the previous burger we ordered the night before). - The flushing of the room above us woke us up every night. - The water in the bathroom went from very hot to very cold at once. もっと読む

The only thing not working was the AC and that certain things are getting tired .

Nice pool area and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Spa and gym are good and nice facility to have. Rooms are basic and a bit dated, not 5 star standard (we were upgraded to a suite (I would have been very disappointed if I paid for it).As expected in a fancy hotel ,food and drinks are expensive( €6 for a beer by the pool). We found the food […] in the main restaurant to be just ok, we felt compensated by the lovely terrace you can eat on. Enjoy the breakfast, pool, spa and cocktail hour which is good value. Avoid the restaurant, buy a daily bus ticket and pop down to Dwerja for lunch by the sea and into Victoria for dinner. This hotel is off the beaten track. it is a super hotel if you wish to have a very quiet break. there are 3 stunning pools and the children are banished to one of them so if you're travelling without children, you don't have to have them screaming in your pool. i would not recommend the restaurants in the hotel,however. most of the time the mediterranean […] restaurant was closed, the bar area serves food which is just okay. the Italian restaurant is good if you just want Pizza, don't try to order anything else because the chef doesn't like doing this, we asked for a steak and this came served very dryly with some potatoes on a skewer and 3 severely charred mushrooms and steak with rosemary????I thought it was lamb that was served with rosemary. i asked for a pepper sauce with my steak, and he just was not prepared to make one. the reception staff are excellent and very helpful. i would stay on the mainland of Malta and maybe do a one night stay here with a boat trip around Gozo and Comino. もっと読む

We visited in the off season so the hotel was not full but its a really beautiful property with scenic surroundings, lush grounds, beautiful pool and nice service. Very quiet and spa-like. The only negative is that its located away from the main town of Victoria so you need to pay for a taxi or rent a car to really go anywhere. The hotel and facilities were faultless. We had a great week and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Gozo. We were even upgraded to Junior suites at no extra charge.

Beautiful setting with three pools and plenty of sunbeds. The breakfast buffet was superb and the outside Gazebo restaurant highly recommended for lunch. The main restaurant was unfurtunately closed when we were there but the Italian Trattoria provided a decent meal in lovely surroundings. The hotel service and staff were faultless. I had not visited Malta and Gozo for 25 years, having been brought up there. San Lorenz was our starting point and we had a lovely relaxing time there. The pool areas were great for all ages and it was very peaceful but it was Sept! Were served iced tea and fresh fruit in the heat of the day. The spa was really nice but the treatments were hugely expensive! […] Staff were excellent. Enda nackdelen med hotellet var att de låg där de låg. Man behöver verkligen bil för att ta sig någonstans. Det finns cyklar att låna vilket är ett + samt bussar som gick från hotellet till närmsta stad. Men jag rekommenderar hyrbil, speciellt om man inte betalat för att måltider på hotellet eller vill uppleva hela ön, inget fel alls på deras restaurang […] (god mat!) men jag och min man ville gärna se sevärdheterna och testa olika restauranger. Très bel hôtel, havre de paix à l'ouest de Gozo. Très belle chambre avec vue sur piscine. La "Trattoria" de l'hôtel mérite le détour et est nettement meilleure que la plupart des restaurant aux alentours ! Dernière précision, le personnel et la qualité de service sont remarquable.

In Kempinski-Hotels zu urlauben ist immer Genuss pur, aber dieses Hotel in Gozo hat alles übertroffen: Nicht zu viele Zimmer, daher überschaubar - fast ein bisschen familiär. Herrlich großzügige Zimmer und Allgemeinbereiche. Aussenanlagen wo wirklich jeder ein ruhiges Eckerl findet. Der SPA ein Traum; die Anwendungen verführen in eine andere Welt. Excellent hôtel et excellent service. Cependant, les chambres qui donnent sur le parking doivent être évitées : le bruit du générateur électrique rend la nuit difficile et empêchera les plus sensibles de dormir.
