今回は学会出張で，ダウンタウンのコンベンションセンターから近いところを探しました．いわゆるモーテルなので，はっきり言って「近い」とは言いにくいのですが，それでも歩いて10分ほどでコンベンションセンター，メイシーズ，リバーウォークなどにたどり着けます．部屋もきれいで快適でした．これでこの価格帯であれば「非常に満足」です．すぐ近くに「Fatty's Burger」というハンバーガー屋さんもあり，とてもおいしかったです．

Be careful thinking you will get a non-smoking room even if you book one through hotels.com. I arrived and was placed in a smoking room. After the shock of walking into the stinkpit, I spent a minute in awe that there are still smoking rooms at hotels. Seriously? I was told by the front desk that even though I selected a non-smoking room on hotels.com, […] they still just give out whatever is available. After a fight, I was able to move to a non-smoking room. When we first arrived, we found that the room we were in had a broken heater. The staff moved us to another room that was better suited to our needs. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, each with 4 pillows. Our room was fairly quiet. You could hardly hear any street noise. Loved the family suite. We had plenty of room for all of the family. The front desk manager was very accommodating with checking me in early and making sure i got a first floor room for my son after surgery.
