The clerk made a mistake and overcharged for 1 extra night. The front part of the room had no aircond. The refrigerator wasn't working till I fixed it. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The shower broke on the last night. The breakfast was pretty good. Fresh. Personel were helpful and friendly. Just needed a place to sleep while I worked.

Convenient location, good value for price, staff very friendly and personable. Breakfast not ready at stated time, so options limited as we had no time to wait. Preiswert!

The hotel was great and very easy to work with regarding pets.

overall it is good, had a lil problem with the toilet and told someone at 4pm but nothing was done about it till i called again around 9pm.

We stayed one night to attend a family quincenera. The event center was .5 miles from the hotel and the parents home was less then 6 miles away. When we arrived we had to wait about 15 minutes to get our rooms. We had made reservation via Hotels.com for 2 non-smoking rooms. One of the rooms turned out to be a smoking room where my 3 granddaughters and […] their parents were to stay. We went to the hotel manager and asked for another room. She informed us she had only a few room left and offered a suite for a higher price. We refused and insisted in a non-smoking 2 queen room. With a few minutes, we had another room on the same floor as us. The manager apologized and explained she was short on the cleaning crew therefore the dealy in locating the room. hotel was cheaper than the rest, old school rooms, hard beds, hard towels. Thats what i get for getting a cheapy room

the clerks and staff were very friendly. food was great also! nice, clean room...huge comfy bed!

Beauliful Hotel staff very friendly room a little dirty and did not have hot water . However will stay again.

The pillows were way to small and the bed was very hard. I called twice and no answered the phone. I went by the hotel and there was a sign that stated the clerk would be back in 10 minutes. There was no one at the front desk for over 30 minutes.

Well let's start off with the good, customer service was good, the breakfast was good as well. The comfort was good as well. The only issues I dealt with were alot of cock roaches in the room which was quite bad, the pool was not very clean. Until the roaches were taken care of then I would not recommend this hotel. Very convenient location, easy access to expressway in any direction. Clean & comfortable rooms. Staff is not as friendly but are very accommodating and professional.

The front desk was a terrible example of customer service. The chairs rocked but were not rocking chairs. We were there for 4 days and I honestly can tell you that the silver lining was the cleaning service. She was awesome, only spoke a little English but enough to communicate. I do not recommend staying at this hotel for 3 main reasons. 1 - Construction […] all around so it was hard to access, hard to spend any time outside and a lot of dust in the air. 2 - Very old inside. It needs an upgrade. Chairs that were not sturdy, curtains that were dusty and a leaky ceiling that took 2 days to be repaired right next to the elevator. 3 - Unfriendly service. The manager/ owner's Mercedes was permanently parked under the covered entrance which made the arrival very difficult. Since I was the vehicle there everyday, I just pulled alongside it when loading to leave. That covered area is for guests' arrival and departure. It added to the unwelcoming feel of this hotel. Well when i booked room, it did not give option for suite or double bed. They booked a double bed. Which is fine, but i like the room of the suite. The ifrst suite they gave me, the couch was broke, when we tried to pull the bed out, there was at least 30 used scratch offs and the covers from previous use were still there. everithing fine, except for breakfast, location es good, the room is clean and comfortable, the price was great.

I had booked two rooms for 6 nights for two business partners, the rooms they were given on the first floor were so noisy from people partying and a noisy air conditioner that they left after three nights because they could not get any sleep. I have requested a refund from hotels.com for the unused nights but the management hides from there phone calls, […] saying that there not in yet they live there. The strong smell of eastern cooking permeates the place with garlic or what ever they cook with. The breakfast bar is a joke the coffee and juice's are terrible and the food even worse. The internet service doesn't work, the pool and hot tub are so dirty that no one in there right mind would set foot in it. They let people who are not staying there use the pool area that adds to the filth, its right next to the freeway so even if you sit by the pool the constant roar of traffic is unbearable. Based on the good rate and other comments, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I got a decent little suite for less than a regular room at most other hotels and everything was clean and comfortable.

This hotel provided everything we needed and more; such as complimentary breakfast/coffee in the morning, computer room with printer/copier, clean rooms and hotel in general, clean pool and hot jacuuzi, comfortable bed, refrigerator and microwave in room, and a very friendly staff!!!

Due to road construction, it made it inconvenient especially with only one entrance and exit to the hotel. They should place a notice advising customers that this obstacle will make it hard to access hotel. Then provide alternate routes to reach destination.

Worth the money

Knights Inn is the kind of hotel where the staff does their best with an inadequate budget. We booked a three day stay through hotels.com, and the price was definitely right. But the remote didn't work, the coffee pot didn't work, and the first morning we noticed that the sink was dripping on the carpet. The sink was fixed right away, when my husband […] told the desk. However, the remote for the TV was non-functioning, as was the coffee pot in the room, and the iron had definitely seen better days. The manager tried to get us a new remote and coffee pot, but they never materialized. Even at such bargain prices, customers at a hotel deserve to have the amenities in their rooms work. And the staff deserves the support from their corporate headquarters to make that happen. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT ROOMS WERE CLEAN YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS HOTEL FOR THE PRICE! I WILL BE BACK.

I loved the look of the room, my room was clean and it smell nice too.It was quite, the complimentary breakfast was good, the pool was clean, the staff was pleasant. and hotel is about two blocks away from convenient areas on Hwy 281.

THE HOTEL WAS IN A NICE QUIET AREA, BUT YET STILL CLOSE ACCESS TO EATERYS AND STORES

Excellent hotel for the money you pay. Clean room and a good basic breakfast (get up early or it's gone) This was my second stay and I had no complaints.

On September 24th 2009 I stayed for the 5th time at this hotel. On my previous stay I checked out 20 minutes past the noon check-out time. I checked in at 3am that morning and did not recieve my reserved king non-smoking room, I got a double smoking room. On this visit by 11:59am front desk called asking for my noon check-out, I asked for a few minutes […] for I was getting out of the shower. By 12:01 assistant manager was knocking on door, I asked for a minute and informed I had just spoken to front desk, she insisted saying that manager was outside to come out now. I came out in a towel, upset for this insistence. From across the corridor manager shouted that I was not a welcomed guest anymore for I countiniously checked out late, to leave right then and there. Video cameras and security make you feel safer, and harder for any guest or employee to take anything from your room. Beds and surrounding was very comfortable and quiet. Good value for your money!

I was a total surprise. I was not expecting much for the great rate we received. The staff was great, the hotel was clean, they served hot breakfast. It was a great stay and we look forward to coming back.

Good hotel in Pharr just down the street from the Nolana exit which is where all the restaurants and shops are at. Also good location for the night life. Not in the center of attention but convenient enough to have a good time then be able to get away from the madness.
