We were upgraded from queen beds to single king beds in the two rooms without asking; one room was fine; the other room REAKED of MOLD!!!!! Even though the room was supposed to be non-smoking, you could tell that someone had been smoking in the room before.

We were on a stop over and this hotel was the cheapest that I found in the area that had what I was looking for which is that it has a fridge and wireless. Stayed here for a business trip to Quantico Marine Base. The motel advertised free continental breakfast and free wi-fi, both of these ended up being false. Unfortunately […] the hall and room had an extremely pungent odor of cleaning products, not sure what they were trying to cover up, but definitely offensive to the senses. Upon entry to my room, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room after becoming accustomed to the overwhelming smell of cleaning product. The wi-fi signal was non-existent and would drop you the moment you logged-on. This was a big disappointment as I was trying to get some work done for the next morning. There were refrigerators and microwaves in the room, which would have been nice if I was staying longer then one night. In the morning breakfast consisted of coffee and doughnuts, hardly continental. Luckily enough there was a Waffle House a block and a half away and I was able to get my fill of grease for the day. The hotel was exactly what you would think for the price. Nothing fancy but it was clean. It did have smoking rooms which are hard to find anymore. The continental breakfast was fine. I don't think you would want to vacation there but for a night or 2 it was fine.

Not at all pleased with the condition of our room or the cleaness of the area where you could catch the breakfast. Not clean at all. Would not recommend this motel at all. Put a bad taste in your mouth for all Days Inns.

Given the cheap price and other so-so reviews, I was a bit nervous about my stay. But the room was surprisingly spacious, clean and well-kept. The bed was VERY soft (which I don't prefer). Friends staying in another room had a different bed experience, so I suppose that is a luck of the draw. I wasn't thrilled that there was no "late checkout" policy, […] and when I called to ask how early I could check in, I was told 2:00 and if I wanted to check in earlier, I'd have to pay for an extra night. That seemed rather ludicrous to me. But when I got there early and checked in, there was no such problem. Not sure why the man on the phone gave me an incorrect answer. Perhaps it was a language barrier, as I had to ask and reask "How early can I check in?" three times in three different ways before finally getting the answer of 2:00. But those hiccups aside, I was quite pleased with the accomodations, especially with the fantastic rate compared to other area hotels. Good location for me and my husband. Have stayed at this hotel in the past and never had any issues. Guy that checked us in was very prompt and friendly. Did have somewhat of a concern when I checked in and wasn't required to show proof of who I was though.

I had an old friend come into town on short notice. I thought the rates were great. We were surprised by all of the amenities offered. Thanks

We needed an inexpensive hotel close to I-95 within quick reach of Mount Vernon. This Days Inn fit the bill. It was undergoing some freshening up in the stairwells. The complimentary breakfast was limited and well picked over by 8am. But we weren't there for the breakfast so that wasn't a major issue for us.

Nice place to rest, Pleaseant area, very convenient.

This hotel is just OK. If you aren't too picky it is a reasonably priced place to sleep. Rooms are decent size and comfortable. Negatives were:1) Some musty smells in hallways and covered up by overdose of air freshener in some rooms. This hotel surprised us, especially since we got a hotels.com discount at the price we paid for three nights. The staff is friendly. The location is right off the highway. If you are simply looking for a clean, convenient hotel, then this was fine. The continental was a disappointment - coffee, milk, juice were all empty, and not many choices of bagels, muffins, etc. Probably will try another hotel the next time we visit the area.

We got our room and we went in and the end table was COVERED in tiny little ants. We called and they first asked if we wanted someone to come and clean it. I said no, we just wanted a new room since you can't really "clean" ants-and they were everywhere. We got a new room but it still had some bugs in the bathroom. Unless you are filming illegal drug distribution do not stay here.Never once in the 52 hours there was there an absence of at least 1 and sometimes 2 individuals in cars immediately adjacent to the door awaiting the "next customer". Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean - looked as though it may have been recently redone. People at front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Convenient location. Would recommend if you don't need a pool and alot of frills.

the stay was pleasant the hotel was very clean

This hotel was alright for one night for the price. It was very inexpensive so we did not expect a lot. We had one issue upon arrival. The first room that they assigned us to was not cleaned yet. They quickly assigned us a room that had been cleaned once we let them know.

The check in attendant seemed like he did not care and the hotel had a dirty feeling to it. Hotel is old and need of rennovations. Would not stay here again.

This Hotel was not very clean and had to go to the third floor for ice and I have bad knees Iwill never stay there again

I frequent the NOVA and DC area bi-annually and this hotel was conveniently located in Dumfries off of 95. Since I knew the area this was perfect and couldn't bet the price neither. The hotel appeared to be be recently updated . Altogether a nice place not to trashy not to classy but perfect for stretching a buck.

room was very clean, the carpet looked new,the room lust have gone through remodeling.we stay for 4 days to attend out son's ocs graduation/commissioning. good value for the price we paid. the hotel was only just a few miles from the base. very ez to get on and off the 95 freeway.the town is lacking good places to eat.

The room itself was ok it was really the only hotel we could find that had a fridge and microwave in the area. We weren't sure about the breakfast because they never said anythign to us when we checked in. The staff was not rude but they weren't that friendly either. I've stayed at worse places lets just say that.

There was mold in the bathroom. The entrance to the building smelled like cat pee. and as we were going to bed, we noticed there was blood on the pillow!!!

Rooms are in need up maintenance. Carpets badly worn tattered. Metal tackdown strips carpet to tile entrance into bathroom exposed (potential injury) Other wise the room was neat & clean. Hotel is centrally located for tourism of Manassas Potomic Mills Outlets.Great Rates. Easy Access off of I-95
