I picked this hotel for my daughters. They like pools and this had an indoor pool. I thought it was heated and ambient temperature was "close" to room temperature. It was cold at all. I stayed here for two nights. I was looking for something simple and close to friends. This place was excellent and the staff was super friendly. They even have a complimentary snack and beverage stand with name brand supplies at the front counter. I didn't check out the restaurant, but it looked clean and inviting. I stayed in a single room, not one […] with the kitchen. But I was impressed that my room had a DVD player and a decent size bathroom. Everything was clean in the room and plenty of towels. I also liked this place because they have a few clothes washers and dryers on the premises. You have to pay to use them, but it's essentially the same as a laundrymat. I also had free wifi which I appreciated because I hate to be "nickeled and dimed". All in all, it was an excellent stay. I would definately stay there again, however only if I could get a similar rate. I don't think I would pay the full retail price for the rooms. Love that this hotel is a nice hotel and doesn't price you to death. Free parking, free WI-FI and a GREAT breakfast buffet that comes with the room for each guest. Having one or the other is typical, but all three at one hotel is VERY refreshing.

The hotel is situated in the buisness area some 14 miles from downtown San Diego and therefore is better situated for buisness travellers. Hotel was nice and our stay was fine, but the hotel made a mistake and double charged for the room. Took three days to get the problem straightened out. In this day and age, with computers tied in to everything, and Hyatt being a higher end hotel, this sould not have happened. I will think twice before booking at this Hyatt hotel again.
