The location of this hotel was ideal for a one-night stop on a long travel journey. It was right off the interstate, and there were several restaurants, convenience stores and gas stations within a half of a mile. The hotel itself was not excellent, but it was sufficient. The bathrooms could use a lot of updating, and the beds were not all that comfortable, […] but then again, what else would you expect for a relatively inexpensive stay? My wife received 10-15 bites from bed bugs and they are now swollen and infected. I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel until they have fumigated. The only positive thing is the location to downtown but not for the BITES!

My room was clean and comfortable. It included a microwave and a refrigerator, which was a nice surprise. I did not have any problems that others wrote about in their reviews. It was a great quality for the price.

1. I booked a smoking room which was confirmed before I booked. Room was non-smoking. 2. Alarm clock in room was broken and overall room was dinghy. 3. Lock on outside door was broken. This hotel is pretty awful considering its flattering pictures. It's right off the highway so it's quite convenient but the surrounding neighborhood is awful. The parking lot is full of moving trucks that apparently have an agreement to park there. The condition of the rooms is pretty lousy, and while I had a non-smoking room you couldn't tell by the […] smell! pretty good breakfast. right off of I-65

After reading other reviews when I booked the room, I was a little bit worried just how outdated and comfortable the place would be. While the architecture is aged, obviously an older building, the exterior and interiors were freshly painted (although orange accent is not my favorite color),everything was clean, all the usual amenities from a value […] hotel including these extras in the room: small refrigerator, microwave, desk, free wireless internet (which was a little slow to connect at first, but then worked great and fast loading), coffee pot and coffee supplies, iron, ironing board, blow dryer. (Microwave and coffee pot looked used/older but worked great) While the decor is not luxurious, it is nice, and better than I expected. I chose king size sleeping, which also had a small sitting area with comfy loveseat, coffee table and reading lamps. Furniture and bedding appeared to be current and in good condition. Bed was great and very comfortable. New curved shower rod and curtain. Clean restrooms and shower. The free breakfast buffet had warm biscuits and sausage gravy, make your own waffle station, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, bagels, muffins and various pastries. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are several just down the street. We ate lunch at cracker barrel and dinner at the chop house. Both were really good and highly recommended. We even took our chop house left overs back to our room, put in the fridge, warmed up in the microwave and had for lunch the next day before checking out. The only small complaint is the toilet water tank was slow filling with the sound of running water. For the price and location to my event, with plenty of stores and restaurants all around, it was definitely a good value. The employees were very polite and kind. The breakfast was outstanding. The room itself needed some work. It smelled of smoke and the carpet looked very worn out.
