It was very nice and quiet when we went. We loved that it was so peaceful and easy going. Each room comes with robes which were a nice touch. The hotel staff were very nice too!

I chose to stay at the Resort at the Mountain to have a weekend getaway and just relax. I got there early and even tho check-in was still a few hours away, they had my room ready for me so I didn't have to wait. Because I was enjoying the Spa's steam room and relaxation room so much, the Spa called and asked for my late check-out which the Resort was happy to oblige. The Resort at the Mountain was absolutely fantastic!! The price was incredible and the hotel staff was beyond accommodating. It was so nice to be able to bring along our dog for our trip!! The pool and hot tub were incredibly nice and well kept. The kids really enjoyed the putt putt golf as well. Will definitely stay again!!

After searching for a hotel near timberline and finding high rates for just one night I searched hotels.com and found a great rate here. I was skeptical of the pictures but as soon as I walked into the lobby I was impressed. The rooms were just as impressive. I highly recommend to everyone.

I guess its because I've been to "real" resorts in the past, where they have activities going on for kids and adults, an indoor pool/spa, nature trails.... this place is more like an overpriced motel with a restaurant that has the poorest service I've ever experienced. The room was relatively clean, but no larger or more comfortable than most motels […] I've stayed in. The hot tub was dirty, and the outdoor pool had a giant tent over it that barely covered the whole pool, which means when you walked into this big bubble, you almost walked right into the pool itself, which is not a good thing if you have toddlers like I do. We had dinner and then breakfast at the Altitude, their attached restaurant. The service was slower than a snail climbing up a staircase. Dinner took an hour to be served, and breakfast took nearly 30 minutes. The one saving grace is that they had delicious mac & cheese. Alas, that is not enough for us to return. The pictures online are very misleading...the rooms are NOT as nice as they appear and the hotel is old and run down. The cabinetry had nicks and scratches everywhere and the carpet had stains. Also, the heating system was SO loud that it woke our baby every time it kicked on through the night. The brunch in the restaurant was nicely priced (only $9.00 […] which included a drink) but it was not plentiful and the eggs were undercooked. The staff in the restaurant wasn't very attentive, either. We had to chase down people to get what we needed. I would only recommend this hotel because of its proximity to Ski Bowl. Beautiful place and spacious rooms. My husband and I took a weekend getaway. and we returned energized and all smiling. the skiing areas are so close by that can be funtoo although we stayed indoors mostly. We loved the resort's restraunt and the waiting staff.
