I have stayed here a number of times and always have been in a renovated room. The last time I was there I had to change the room 3 times before found and non renovated room that was satisfactory. I will only stay there again if they guarantee me a renovated room.

Great location close to the airport. Big breakfast. Cookies,fruit and drinks in lobby. DVD player in room with complimentary rentals in lobby. Large room. Front desk very helpful when placing us in a quiet location in the hotel because a kids group was staying there that night.

The room here was clean with a comfortable bed, great internet, and very spacious. Breakfast was great, hot food! The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

This hotel was close to several restaurants and very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was a studio suite which had a kitchen with full size fridge, stove top, dishwasher, dishes etc so you can cook in hotel and eat if our wanted to. Great price' great location. Very roomy 2 bedroom suite, very helpful front desk service. Would have to take points off because airport construction has a major road closed making getting to airport difficult and confusing.

The hotel was in a good location close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself was good quality, clean and comfortable. My only issue or complaint was that the TV in our room was a CRT tube type (not a flat screen) and was small. However, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I found the decor very nice, so many hotels are boring and bland. The red colour on the feature wall and furnishings was quite nice. My only "complaint" would be that I had to stand outside in the hall to download a program, Wi-Fi was very sporatic to unavailable in room 101. Otherwise, great and comfortable stay. 1st. night- even with heat off room was unbearably hot. tried turning on A/C and mechanical noise from the in the room H/VAC was unbearable. I specifically asked for a hotel with a shuttle bus that was close to the airport and got neither. Technically, they do have limited shuttle availability. But standing beside happy travellers ready to be whisked away in shuttle busses to Holiday Inn, Best Western and several other hotels at 10:40 pm, I was told that I was sweet outta luck when I called. […] They didn't run shuttles to an airport that was still teaming with deplaned passengers. The information person at the exit doors thought I had been misinformed by the hotel since there were so many other shuttles running. I was frustrated by this but I took consolation that the "Lakeview Signature Inn Calgary Airport" must at least be close. A $34 taxi ride proved otherwise. The cab driver informed me that he always gets complaints of how far away this hotel is from the passengers that he drops off here. The cab driver opined that he thought it was false advertising. When I raised my concerns to the manager, he dusted me off saying that I should've checked the shuttle details more closely... like I have time to do that for every hotel I book. It was also his opinion that $34 cab fare is close. If you're visiting Calgary for a few days, this hotel is fine. Clean and front staff was friendly and a pretty good breakfast actually. Overall this hotel was just okay. We started off on the wrong foot when our room wasn't ready at check-in. We also found the beds to be uncomfortable and were disappointed that the pool was so cold. The food was alright and the staff were courteous. Next time I would try somewhere else.

We thought our stay was great. We had the studio room before our departure to Spain. Our car stayed at the hotel and the shuttle picked us up after a long long flight back due 6 hours later than expected. We desperatley needed a room to sleep as we were up for 24 hours prior. What a pleasant stay I recently had at this hotel. I arrived before lunch in the middle of a snow storm and the young lady at the desk went out of her way to get me in a room right away. The room itself was as convenient as being in my own home (without the work)! Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The buffet breakfast was great as well as the light snack reception each while I stayed. I have now found my hotel of choice to stay at when I am in Calgary again.

We booked because of the "free breakfast" and "airport shuttle".. This couldn't be more misleading. First of all, the shuttle only runs during certain times and only once per hour. When we arrived in Calgary, we had to take a $45 cab to the hotel, because it was outside of shuttle hours at 11pm. The next morning, we had to take the 6:30am shuttle because […] the time we wanted to head to the airport (just after 7:00am) was not an option. Since we had to leave at the earlier time, we also had to forfeit our breakfast for an expensive one at the airport. If the customer service had been OK, we could have overlooked the rest, but the concierge was so rude and unempathetic to us. He just kept repeating the hotel policy like a parrot, it was like he wasn't even listening to us! When I asked for the manager he laughed at me and said the manager wasn't on duty. The staff at this hotel were awesome, they were always smiling and greeting you and trying to make your stay the best it can be. They provide 24 hour complimentary fruit and cookies, which was nice upon our arrival since It was quite late when we checked in. They provide a complimentary continental breakfast which is fantastic. They also serve complimentary snacks and complimentary lunches on certain days. The seating in the breakfast area is huge with some couches and a large tv and the seating area is open 24 hours, this was awesome especially if you wanted to do some visiting outside of your room. If you forgot to bring anything they definitely would have it. Everything was so clean. I cannot say enough about the quality of this hotel. Except for missing a valet they should be considered a five star hotel. We stayed for three nights and we were so impressed that we had to meet the manager to tell him how pleased we were with the facilities. They even have an outside bbq if you want to bbq in the summer. We will always stay here when we go to Calgary from now on.
