Nice place to stay. The desk clerk was very nice. Coffee in the lobby was fresh and very high quality. We arrived late and left early, so didn't see much else, but it was quiet, clean and spacious. Everything that we needed.

Overall our room with 2 queen size beds was comfortable. Beds had pillow-tops and heating and a/c worked well. We asked for a second chair and it was delivered quickly. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. Refrigerator was small but clean and we enjoyed the "real "cups for coffee. Unfortunately there were two stains on carpet- wish they had been […] cleaned. The Hotel is very nice & comfortable. Easy access to food & access to the highway. Full breakfast area was clean and the food was good. I would stay here again...

Nice hotel with very good breakfast. Convenient location on TX 77, but a little road noise on the end closer to the Hwy. My only complaint was the very heavy duvet covering the down comforter - made the comforter unneccesarily heavy and warm, especially for the warmer climate in Harlingen.

Your motel was just fine. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient and took care of business. Though your hotel was a bit more pricy...$12 a night, it was nicely landscaped, well designed, and worth it. thanks.

Friendly office staff. Very accomodating.

We were overnight waiting for a morning flight. We stayed here for the advertised "complimentary shuttle" . Information states that it is available 0700-1100pm which was not accurate the day of our stay. We could not get a shuttle til 1030am, which did not work for our 0815am flight. After traveling and staying at hotels for the past 23 years I needed a hotel at the last minute and found this hotel on hotel.com. My first time ever in a Country Inn & Suites. I was pleasantly surprised as I was not familiar with this chain. Overall experience was good and I would not hesitate to stay again.

I had stayed in the same hotel in July of 2011. We had a very good experience there with my wife, son and two grandchildren. I had to make a trip on my own and without and doubt chose to stay at the same place. The experience was OUTSTANDING again. The place was excellent and the staff were Outstanding as well. My family stayed here since it was close to the hospital where a family member was recovering from surgery. We had a 1 bedroom with a fridge, microwave, sofa bed and two TVs. Checkin and checkout was easy and the staff very friendly. The only problem was the sofa bed was broken but we were able to use it. I did inform the front desk upon checking out. We only stayed 1 night but we will be back. Since it was Christmas Day when the elevator door opened, a man that was dressed and looked like Santa Claus greeted us. If it is true that you are only as good as your last report card then this place is a B+. I have stayed here before and rated it A+++ but unfortunately this particular visit was during the Christmas holidays and the housekeeping services were a bit lacking i.e. there were none. Upon check-in the desk clerk made it clear that there would not be housekeeping […] services on Christmas day which I fully understood but at no point during my entire four night stay did anyone bother to clean my room, make the bed, or even empty the waste basket. As I stated earlier I have stayed here before and received excellent service so let's consider this visit to be the exception and not the norm. Hotel was great, stay was pleasant and staff was very courteous. Price was well worth it, room was very clean and comfortable.

Reception was excellant and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the service excellant.

The fold up sofa bed - the linen was not changed from the previous visitor - clean linen was given to us upon request. I was very pleased with the way that I was treated as hotel guest, the staff was very friendly and helpfull. I was late to a funeral service so the attendant filled out form for me while my family and I got ready. We stayed in one of the suites. They are a little on the small side, and the doors to the bathroom and to the bedroom bumped into each other when they were both open. The desk lady was very difficult in giving me a room I felt safe and comfortable in. I had to ask for the manager to get a room. My understanding is that the hotel is going under some renovation of which it needs badly. I was very pleased by the customer service they have in this hotel. Very friendly when I needed a phone number to order a pizza. As well as in the breakfast the madam serving it was very friendly. I didn't use the pool but it Iooked to very pretty at night. I highly recommend this hotel.

After we checked in we noticed our sheets had not been changed. We called the desk and they apologized and said it would be taken care of right away. We left to go to dinner and when we returned we asked the desk clerk if it had been taken care of. She informed us that housekeeping staff had left for the day but she could provide us a fresh set of sheets […] if we wanted. Of course we accepted and changed them ourselves. We also came across a roach in one of the dresser drawers but it is very humid in Harlingen and so a roach in a dank drawer wasn't that big of a surprise. We only ate breakfast our last morning but it was ok. They ran out of glasses for awhile and it seemed someone was always waiting for waffle batter but it was busy so I think that was a good sign. もっと読む

Hotel was more than sufficient - the breakfast was hot and tasty every morning, and it was easy on/off the freeway. I will definitely stay here again.

With the exception of the lady clerk who checked me in, the staff was rude and less than friendly. Children were allowed to run around unsupervised, The water pressure in the room shower was too low or intermittently non-existent.

nice and clean, comfortable and great location. night clerk was very friendly, day clerk was not.

This is our seventh stay at Country Inn & Suites Harlingen and this time, like the first, is just like coming home. Although we arrived an hour or so before check-in the desk clerk greeted us warmly, asked our name, and informed us that the rooms were not quite ready yet. He then asked us if we would like to wait in the lobby as it would only be a few […] minutes. No sooner that I had settled into the sofa and picked up a book then it was announced that our room was ready. The room - the suite rather - in keeping with the theme of neat, clean, and tidy was just that. From floor to ceiling everything was neat, clean, and tidy. Although the room's 78 degree temperature was a bit warm for my taste it was easily remedied. The bathroom seemed to be lacking a few towels but no sooner than I thought it there housekeeping knocking n the door with an arm full fo fresh clean towels. The young lady apologized profusely, dissappeared into the bathroom, and after a few moments emerged, apologized again, said good nite, and quietly slipped out the door. Apparantly there was a group of young children on the floor above who had discovered the joys of running the carpetted halls. This like any other shortcoming was dealt with promptly and peacefully. On the verge of falling asleep I decided to take a shower and this, like every other time, there was hot water a plenty. Properly shaved, showered, and soothed I climbed into the oh so firm bed and within minutes fell into a deep sleep. Not to be awaken until the next morning's sun came streaming in through the curtains that I forgot to close. Refreshed and ready to face a new day. I went downstairs and enjoyed the breakfast laid out for us. As if the food wasn't wonderful enough, the coffee tasted like coffee while the juice tasted like juice - not that watered down stuff other people pass off as juice. I just absolutely loved it! The room was so inviting and clean. We had a suite with double queen beds. If I am ever in Harlingen again, I will definitely stay here. This is a very clean hotel. The staff was very nice, the pool area was clean. There were never enought towels on the towel rack by the pool area, but other than that our stay was very enjoyable.

I traveled alone but opted for the 2 room suite. spacious and clean. Quiet neighborhood across the street and easy access to frontage roads and expressway. Plan to stay there again in the near future.

The hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a strange smell in the room, which we couldn't identify, but it was the sort of smell you quickly got used to and 'disappeared' after a couple of minutes. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.
