Needed hotel on South side for kids basketball tournament. Hotel had pool and water slide. Perfect. Beds surprisingly comfy. Hotel very popular with sports teams. Showing wear and tear. Free breakfast was great. Don't have high expectations and I would stay there again.

Hot tub not was not working and it si starting to look a little dirty in areas. Could be winter grime not cleaned up yet.

Overall, the hotel is small but very convieniently located on Gateway Blvd in the south. I do all my shopping in South Commons so I love this area. It's also next to a gas station, next to a bowling alley, right next to dennys, close to Canadian Tire and Walmart. And they do allow pets..but PET OWNERS BEWARE..they expect you to stay with your pet at all times. That's obviously not convienient for anyone as the summer heat (and your pet in the car while you shop) is not a desirable situation. So just know that before going here because it doesn't say that on this site. :) I didn't try the continental breakfast but there is one! The staff was friendly, and the kids loved the pool, but the room and bathroom were below par compared to other Super 8 hotels. The toilet and wash basin both seemed to be clogged and were draining very slowly. Other than that the location is pretty decent if you have work in the South side of Edmonton, or even downtown.

I have stayed at this facility several times over the past few years, stayed again based on previous experiences which were positive. The front desk service I found very friendly and helpfull.We stayed in a pet friendly room which was way better than some I have stayed in.Breakfast was good.We had a lot of fun in the pool.I would not suggest staying in the Super 8 in Valemount, B.C. Canada,it is old dirty and run down.The breakfast was good though.

Daughter hit head twice on side of waterslide - at the end, just before entering water. Also saw another child hit their head on same area of waterslide twice. Just make sure to tell your child (if they are 5 or under) to make sure they go a little slower!

The stay was very good clean hotel. I had a few problems and some was fixed others were ignored :( It was nice location. Near lots of shopping centres. Kids loved the swimming pool with waterslide. Hot tub is a little 2 small. Breakfast was good.

Room was cold, not enough covers on the bed. Continental breakfast was very basic and orange juice tasted watered down.

I found this hotel to be a great place to stay with my family. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was great and had a variety to choose, including fruit and a protein option. Rooms looking worn and tired. Very uncomfortable beds. Very small bathrooms. Vanity area out in the open so you cannot be sleeping when someone is getting cleaned up due to light and noise.

My kids enjouyed the water slide. However, it was a little tight for a family of four with older kids. The sink stopper was on the floor when we returned to the room-not sure why.

The staff were very friendly. Variety of places to eat and shop. For a family of four, our children enjoyed the indoor pool access and the slide, we could not pull them away. Complementary breakfast was reasonable with great hours for those who sleep in. Unfortunately, the coin laundry service could use an upgrade.

Could use some new carpet in the hallways. Other than that I had a wonderful stay, rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very easy to find an in an excellent location for shopping, movies and restaurants. pool was small but had a slide and hot tub.

The entrance doors lock for security purposes every night. I couldn't get out one night. Had to find a staff member to open it for me. I was missing pouder (make-up) in my room. The hotel was very adequate for our needs. We found the room large and comfortable as we were only staying for one night to attend a play at the Citadel.
