I stayed here for my residency interviews for UC Davis. The hotel staff is very friendly. The bed was comfortable and had pillows of different sizes and firmness so I could pick what was most comfortable. The shower was nice and the bathroom was clean. The heater was pretty quiet. The only negative was the TV reception was absolutely horrendous, some channels unwatchable through the static. Overall a great option if you need to stay close to the hospital. Checkin was, literally, four minutes... The lobby has everything you could possibly want. Personnel were super friendly. Room was wonderful. My daughter and I left a mirror and I called two days later to see if the cleaning crew had turned it in. They had turned it in and I'm picking it up this week - yay for wonderful staff !!

Would have liked to have known that hotel was in process of remodel. This should have been disclosed by Hotels.com

What can I say, we enjoyed our stay in August so much that we came back here at the end of Sept.,Loved the room it was very clean and comfortable, loved the pillows. The staff was very helpfuf with directions and maps to the places we wanted to go.Our meals at restaurant were very good sooooo you can say We"ll back.

Very nice stay. Hotel staff were all very nice and very helpful.

It would be a little easier if all the lights were working, but otherwise a generic Marriott - comfortable and plastic with fancy colors.

The general location is not so great. But the immediate location is right next to the UC Davis medical complex, which gives it a boost in my opinion. They have a really nice lobby for a Courtyard, one of the ones I've enjoyed most--cozy but somewhat classy. Not spectacular by any means, it's a Courtyard. I enjoyed my stay at the Marriott. It was very clean and the staff were pleasant. The pool, though, was very cold, but I guess I could understand since it was a very cold night. But the hot tub needs to stay hot, not luke warm, or cool. Other than that, our stay was very pleasant.=)

Hotel was very nice, Rose at the Front Desk was exceptional. Very polite and accomadating. Room, lovely and clean. Restaurant was exceptional with great and delicious fresh food. Service was excellent. If Im ever in the area again I would definitely stay there. Highly recommended.

hotel all in all was nice but the neighborhood outside of the medical complex is a little sketchy. only complaint was that in the hotel pics it appears as if there is a starbucks in the hotel but it is just a little coffee shop that serves starbucks brand of coffee- still nice to have but a big difference if you ask me
