The Extended Stay in North Dayton has been a favorite place for me to stay when visiting family in Dayton, Ohio. The rooms are always neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to many differrent resturants on Miller Lane. I find it to be a reasonable, clean, and friendly place to stay.

Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Decent proximity to downtown. Cigarette burns in the bedding!! Smelled of mildew in the hallways and rooms. Curtains did not close all the way.

The hotel suited what we needed. It was on a street with restaurants of just about every type you could want, so if you were hungry you definitely didn't have far to go. Easy access to freeway, gas station(s) and even Wal-Mart. I chose this motel because of it's "pet friendly" policy and location. I was shocked to be charged an EXTRA $25 fee for each of my 12 lb. dogs! More than a child There was NO indication of this charge prior to my arrival.

The hotel looks fine from the outside and the lobby, but this was the worst stay I've had at an Extended Stay. The only two beds that were available was on a smoking floor. Once I got off the elevator, I should have left. Even the hallways were FULL of stale smoke. No smoker would want to stay there. Overall a clean and well taken care of property. Missing some basic hotel amenities (ice machine, basic breakfast, etc) but if you're not looking for these things to be included this is a good place to stay. No frills but clean & quiet -- this should be their motto.

dont waste your money on this hotel. One of the two rooms we had, had no air conditioning, and the windows in both rooms literally fell out onto the floor when we tried to open them. Management never offered to switch rooms, or give us a credit of any type. There are plenty of other hotels on this street. Pick one of those!!

There was a bad mildew smell in the bathroom. The TV was tiny after being use to large flat screens. It was hard to watch. The room had some design flaws. The bathroom door opened the wrong way and I had to use a bar of soap to prop it open, it also seemed the refrigerator top door was hinged wrong. This hotel is a good deal for the price. My complaints are the room phone did not work and when i told the front desk, they said they don't know what's wrong with it. This Extended Stay is located on Miller Lane, surrounded by various restaurants fitting all tastes and budgets. Easy access to the expressway and for getting around in Dayton, Ohio. If you need a last minute hotel. This is ok. Have to exchange wash clothes instead of just getting new ones. Provides the bare mins (soap, no shampoo). We didn't use the kitchen at all but it came with some silverware I would be skeptical of using. Pillow was very uncomfortable. It served its purpose. Check-in and staff were friendly.

Room was neat and clean. Very quiet inside. Shopping and restaurants were nearby. Good value for the cost.

Carpets were stained, elevator was filled with cigarette smoke, phone did not work in room. I told front desk and no one came to fix. I asked for a wake up call and didn't get that either. Extremely disappointed. When we checked in, the carpets were dirty. we requested for it to be cleaned and they said they will do it right away. After hours of no response, we called again and was told there's a charge us $25 to clean the carpet. The lobby was secure after hours. Saved more than half of the surrounding hotels near Dayton University. The staff was exceptional for any toiletries that we forgot. My wife thought it was strange that a hair dryer was not in the room but the front desk had them for sign out. Guess some people liked them so much they took them home with them.

I had expected the Extended Stay to have more amenities, but it was pretty Spartan. The room was comfortable and was a great value for me as I traveled. There were no cups, shampoo, or conditioner--I was surprised that these things were missing. If you stay at one, please bring your own toiletries and don't expect more than the bare essentials!

Honestly, Not bad at all.I was quite satisfied with the room. The only thing I would have changed is tomake sure the room didn't smell of smoke. I was right on the ground floor and it smelled like someone had been smoking in the room (because it was on the ground level and right next to the parking lot). this is the perfect location, there is every eating place on the same street and also a super walmart that is open alnight for any late knight thing you might need.also near they main highway.

When I stay in a hotel, I don't expect to see visible dirt. Our room looked like it had never actually been cleaned, but wiped down with dirty towels and no cleaning solution.
