７０６号室は、おすすめです。 当初、デザイナールームのお部屋の写真を見た限りでは、私のベスト３には、ランクインしていませんでした。 その時点での私の評価は、 とあり。 とりわけ、際立った印象はありませんでした。 しかし、一歩部屋に入ったときの印象は、とっても落ち着く感じがしました。部屋全体の木地を生かした床・壁、落ち着いた色合いのカーペット・ベッドカバーが協調して、その雰囲気をかもし出していたのです。 そして、アクセントとして、ブルーのウィングソファー＋ホワイトパイプチェアーが配置され、極めつけはイエローペインティングアートがライトアップされて窓の間の壁面を飾っていました。 デイタイムは、窓からの陽光を楽しみ、夜と曇天にはライトアップした絵画を楽しむことができます。 さらに、バスルー […] ムがお勧めです。 一見、黒いタイル張りのありがちなモノトーンと思いきや。 床面に配置された、ホワイトタイルのコーナーに配置された深いブルーのドットタイルの醸し出す、落ち着いたなかにも気品が漂います。 また、壁面を埋めるビックサイズのブラックタイルは、「黒」ではなく、周りの物を深く映しこむ落ち着いた色で、床面のタイルとあいまって、清潔感の溢れる落ち着いた雰囲気を演出しています。 バスタブも十分な広さと、深さをもったゆったりとかつ必要十分で大きすぎることもなく、バスルームとバランスのとれたホワイトが、清潔感を漂わせます。 配置された、全ての物に、デザイナーの思いが伝わる、空間です。 十分な広さの洗面台、余分なものをすべて取り払ったシンプルなペーパーホルダー、ステンレスの光りが壁面のブラックタイルにマッチしたティッシュケースなど。 ただし、時間が刻まれたものもありました。 バスタブの蛇口のシャワー切り替えノブは、ネジがフリーになって、容易に外れます。 ウイングチェアーは部屋内の最適配置によって、大画面液晶テレビの下に配置されています。(ゆったりとソファーに腰掛けて、画面を見ることはできない。) ただし、テレビのスピーカーが頭上にあるので、音響的には、ベストポジションです。 雪道を歩いた後の靴には小さな砂利がつきます、部屋に入ったらすぐにスリッパに履き替えましょう。 でなければ、スリッパで歩くたび、足下で”ジャリジャリ”と耳障りなノイズを我慢しなければなりません。 たくさんのライトがあるので、いろいろな点灯の組み合わせを楽しみましょう。（すべてを点灯させることが、ベストではありません。） こんな、楽しみができる、よいお部屋です。 ただし、お部屋にいることが楽しく、出不精になってしまうので、外が厳しい寒さの厳冬期がお勧めです！ 以上 もっと読む

今回学会発表のため利用させていただきました。 行きの飛行機でロストバゲージというトラブルにあいましたが、親切にアドバイスしてくれて感謝してます。 朝食は美味しかったのですが、サーモンマリネが二日目以降無かったので、寂しかったです。 また、この地域では共通していえると思いますが、部屋が寒くて、歯ブラシやひげ剃りが無いなど、アメニティーもあまり充実していないのが難点。また、敷地内の工事のため、日中、うるさかったのも残念でした。 ただ、ガイドブックで高級ホテルに記載されていたため、期待を持ちすぎていた感がありましたが、この地域の相場からすれば、お値段相当かと思います。

2011.10.16から2泊しました。 部屋はとても清潔で、きれいです。 お風呂もバスタブ付きです。 デザインもしゃれています。 初めての海外一人旅で少し不安でしたが、 フロントの方がフレンドリーでとても親切 に対応してくれました。 あえて一つだけあげるとすれば ロケーションがガムラスタン等から少し 距離があります。でも、歩ける程度です。 地下鉄やトラムも安全で利用しやすいので、 便利です。

まず、スウェーデンでは珍しいバスタブ付きだったことがとてもうれしかったです。スウェーデンでこの価格のホテルだと、シャワーのみのことが多いです。 予約時にベビーベッドを希望しておきましたところ、大人ひとりが寝られるシングルのベッドを部屋に用意しておいてくださいました。ちょっと部屋はせまくなりましたが、とてもありがたかったです。 セントラルへのアクセスも地下鉄の駅が近いので苦になりませんでした。もちろん徒歩圏内でもあります。ベビーを連れての旅でしたので、駅が近かったのは良かったです。 改装中のところがあり、昼間は少しうるさかったですが、昼間は外出するので問題なしでした。 従業員の方々も笑顔で対応、挨拶などしっかりしてくれてとても気持ちがよかったです。 またストックホルムへ行くことがあれば、是非泊 […] りたいホテルです。 もっと読む

3泊しましたが、快適に過ごすことができました。 従業員の方々は皆親切でしたし、部屋もきちんと清掃されていました。 バスタブがあったのも良かったです。 中央駅周辺のホテルに比べれば立地は悪いかもしれませんが、地下鉄の駅は近くにありますし、天気さえ良ければ中央駅まで歩いても苦になりません。 コンビニも、わりと近くにあります。 レストランは利用していないので分かりません。

スタンダードダブルで2泊予約しようとしたところ、いっぱいだったため仕方なく1泊目スタンダードダブル、2泊目ミニダブルで予約していたが、当日ホテルの人が気を利かせてくれてスタンダードダブル2泊にしてくれてありがたかった。 立地はメトロから少し歩くが、気にならない程度。朝食も美味しかった。 個人的にはホテルのBGMの選曲がツボでした。

部屋のデザイン（スタンダードシングル）、朝食ビュッフェ、ホテルの立地場所など、すべてにおいて満足度１００％でした。 また、次回もこのホテルに泊まりたいです。

ホテル到着が22時頃だったため、お部屋にフルーツが置いてあったのはうれしかった。また５泊の宿泊だったためか、ドリンク1杯とサンドイッチのサービスがありました。 また、従業員の方は笑顔の素敵な方が多いです。

ガイドブックでデザインホテルと紹介されているだけあり、内装にこったおしゃれなホテルです。ちょうどクリスマスの時期だったので、一回には様々なデザインのツリーが飾られていました。 立地も中心地ではないものの、駅からすぐの好立地で、周囲にはデザインが有名な図書館や、おいしいレストランなどがあり、観光にも便利です。 ただ、少し部屋の壁が薄かったようで、隣室の人の足音が早朝から聞こえたのは、すこしつらかったです。

応対してくださったフロントの方全員丁寧に接してくださいました。部屋も使いやすく、ゆっくりと休めました。 地下鉄の駅、バスストップまで徒歩5分もかからず便利、また地下鉄の駅近くにセブンイレブンがあり、ちょっとした買い物もできました。 朝食も種類が豊富でおいしく満足でした。 ただ4伯したうちで2日、シーツを替えていませんでした。そしてコップも簡単に水洗いしたのか、汚れが目立ち、拭いたと思われるティッシュがついたままでした。あとの2日はきれいに掃除をしていたので、その時の係の人の手抜きだと思われます。全般的に満足なホテルでした。

It was the 2nd time to stay at this hotel. The hotel staffs seemed kinder than before, on the other hand, varities of breakfast were fewer. But I was satisfied with my stay at Hotel Birger Jarl, thanks a lot!

部屋はデザイナーズルームできれいだし、快適に過ごせた。朝食もおいしい。 周辺にはレストランやカフェ、スーパーなどがあり便利だった。 若者もほとんど見かけず騒々しくなく、静かに過ごせた。 一つ残念だったのは、wifiが部屋中心部まできてなかったこと。廊下から部屋のドア付近までしか届いておらず、ドアのところで使ってました。

It takes a lot for me to be impressed by a hotel, but the Birger Jarl is impressive. 1. The front desk staff are excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. 2. The restaurant is superb. The quality of food served is of a high standard and the wine choice has been researched. 3. The location is great. Just a short walk from Stureplan, bars, restaurants and […] sightseeing. It's very obvious that the staff work as a team. I have never seen a hotel where staff take so much pride in the place where they work. I experienced porters walking by the hotel main entrance and picking up a small piece of rubbish which he noticed. Also, staff meeting on my floor as a group to discuss the strategy for the day. This hotel is well run and the management should be very proud. I have stayed in over 100 hotels for business and pleasure - this would be in my top 10. Birger Jarl came with a lot of hype for me - previous reviews and a friend's recommendation along with a very good price led me to book. Its out of the centre and therefore lovely and quiet but nowhere is far in Stockholm - 2 Tunnlebana stops and you're at T-Centralen or just walk 15 minutes down Birger Jarl street and you're back in the centre. Well situated hotel in Stockholm, great breakfast, very friendly staff and just very good quality for the price. RECCOMENDED!

Off the absolute center of Stockholm (but in walking distance) you get a nice stay for a very reasonable price. Nice staff, very good beds and good breakfast in newly renovated dining room. Very close to the library "Stockholms Stadsbibliotek", designed by Gunnar Asplund.

Had booked two nights in a suite, but left after one night. The bathroom was really in a bad shape and even though we where two people in the room (booked) there was only one towel. The furniture in the room was old and there was only water and soda in the minibar (free though).

The simpler rooms are reasonably priced (at least mine was) - perfect for a short stay on business or similar. No frills, but good WiFi - and a good location and helpful staff. The hotel is great, clean and worth value for money. Breakfast was fabulous and the staffs in general were really friendly. The hotel room is typical hotel's room in Scandinvia with modern style and minimalis decoration. The default beds were twin beds (two separate beds) and they only merge these two beds with two madrasses. Unfortunately had only one night here, great modern "Swedish" design in a tight hotel. Great food in Restaurant and a great Buffet breakfast (American) and (Swedish) with many choices. The staff very knowledgeable. Location if you are a walker is great to get to the old city( about 15 minutes), and lots to see on the way.

This hotel is OK value for money but bathrooms are very small and no thrills.. We did not even bother having a shower since it did would not have been an experience we were tempted by. Good bed though and quite which made it a good nights sleep. Also good wifi! OK breakfast but pretty basic. However good selection of Swedish newspapers.

I was there for a couple of days this week on business and despite the redecoration work going on all over the 4th floor, the staff and management made feel welcome. A wonderful place to be when you visit Stockholm. It is quite central and close to downtown area. The rooms are neat and clean, their cuisine is exceptional, and the personnel are most helpful and courteous. I have stayed there many times, it is truly home away from home.

Everything you needed right in the room. The room was big so you could move around in it. And to top it off the breakfast was a gem - just excellent!

There is greate service at this hotel. The room is always clean and the support in the lobby is very helpful.

This is a very large hotel in a pleasant and quiet location. It is about 15 minute walk from the old town and about 20 minutes from the central station and the adjacent bus station. The staff were very friendly and the large breakfast buffet provide a huge range of hot and cold food with plenty of choice for the most demanding of customers. Not really located near anything. Not in a bad area either though. We didn't realize the hotel was undergoing major construction at the time. Hotels.com should have been able to note that. Take advantage of the wonderful breakfast

The hotel is undergoing renovation and so the maze from the lobby to the rooms is a distance. However, it is temporary. The breakfast buffet was included and featured full breakfast items, something you don't always get. It was nice hotel for resonable money. disadvantage is reconstraction around hotel and many other things inside hotel disregard to own hotel. good breakfast. Addition minus is too far from railwaystation (about 20-30 min by foot.

Very nice front desk, clean and quiet rooms, and a great breakfast included! Just what a traveler needs!

Paying this amount for a hotel that is undergoing extensive renovations is outrageous. There was no warning the hotel had major work being done. I never would have booked it.

Just as an FYI, the entire lobby and former restaurant are closed for renovation, and what was the front of the hotel is completed blocked off by construction equipment and is inaccessible. You now also now use a service elevator to get to your room in the meantime...however, good location, but small rooms.

The staff is very friendly and the location is central enough that it's easy to get around in central city area. But currenly (summer 2011) this is a site of major construction/refurbishment and unfortunately if you plan on sleeping in, don't. They sold me a room where the construction pounding started at 7:00 am. It worked great for my jet-lag. Then, they upgraded me to a quiter suite for my last two days so that I could recover from my prior abuses. The suite was nice - to be fair.
