レセプションの態度は最悪、壊れたベッドのあるヘアに案内される、英語もろくに話せない、全てにおいてオーバーチャージ、４つ星ホテルとは思えません。二度と使用しません。

基本的に、フロント・従業員の接客は、思ったより親切 ウクライナ人は特に日本についての印象は、良いので 訪問される方も、マナーをまもり尊敬される日本人として 振舞っていただきたい。とても良い国です。

　久々に旧ソビエト国営系ホテル？に泊まりました。木のつくり、質素な内装、なかなか感慨深かったです。 　でもそれほど居住性が悪かったわけではなく、まあ一人で泊まるならスタンダード以上なら大丈夫だと思いました。ルームサービスも24hrsですし、不便はありません。希望すればポットでお湯も持ってきてくれました。 　部屋や公共の場所での無線LANサービスは、2hrsで100グリブナ（1000円強）で少々お高いですが、接続している時間だけの請求なので効率は良いです。電波は少々弱かったですが。 　ミュンヘンパブを使いましたがまあまともなバーで、食べ物もたくさんありました。 ホテルの立地は最高です。メインの通りにも地下鉄にも近いですし、向かいには日本食3軒もあり、迷うくらいです。 　ただ、旧ソビエト系のホテ […] ルに慣れていない人はNGだと思います。ハイアットとかその他の外資のホテルをおすすめします。 もっと読む

Possibly only my room, but the wi-fi was extremly slow, not possible to work out of this room at all. Killingly slow:-(

The hotel should not be allowed to say it is 4 stars it's a dump.

Overall not bad, however, there is no safe in room, old infrastructure, small bathroom. Excellent breakfast and location in the center of the city...

I really hate to give negative reviews of hotels, but unfortunately there really is little to recommend at the Dnipro. The decor is crumbling, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, even the curtains were a metre narrower than the window, allowing light to flood into the room from the giant illuminated billboard outside. Trash […] collection took place at 2am each morning creating so much noise that I though construction work was taking place. TV channels were all local, and the pay-per-view movies were expensive and out of date, but that's about all you can expect for entertainment as you'll give up on the wifi after about 5 minutes. If you're travelling with a laptop make sure you take a few dvds with you! On the plus side, the room was clean, and I can recommend the sausage and chips from the London Pub next door (turn right, not left, or you'll find yourself in the strip club!). Also, if you're travelling for football, Dynamo Kiev's stadium is right across the road (this is NOT a venue for Euro 2012 though). I believe the hotel is undergoing refurbishment but currently this only seems to apply to the expensive rooms (which are the ones pictured here). Location is very good for all main attractions Door staff aren't particularly friendly and the hotel is defininitely not a four star hotel. Wifi costs by the hour, the room was very small and there was no air conditioning. For taxi's, walk out 10 yards and hail one there as you will save 20 pounds too on that!

Very good location for the city centre and close to the river

It is a classic hotel from the old days. The service is excellent. The food is excellent. The room was clean. There was a masseuse service. There are only two bad things: the rooms are dated without air conditioning, and the wifi service is paid for by the hour. They really do try to make up for the old style room with plenty of good service.

This was a bad experience for me - I understand that the hotel was built in 1968 - the room looked like there was no improvement since then. You cannot sleep on that bed with a mattress that has only 3 cm height. There is no carpet on the floor. The renovated room has carpet on the floor, but the same furniture. We had an upgraded room (jr. suite) so it was very comfortable; but the bathroom was very tiny. After we asked for a second blanket we got it (one only covered one person). In general, hotel was good. And a very good location. I don't think they should charge for the internet now-a-days -especially in an upgraded room. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Great location and a top class breakfast you could not go wrong if you stayed here, i had a great time, 10/10....

The best thing about the hotel was the buffet breakfast: lots of selections (I'm vegetarian, my husband is not): 4 salads, array of cut vegetables, choice of yogurts & cereals, assortment of teas, wide range of hot foods. The pastries, though, were dry and tasteless (to be fair, we found this throughout Ukraine and Russia: perhaps they don't use butter […] or salt in their baking? Perhaps they are buying day-old from an outside bakery?). The first night, our room was so hot we could not sleep; could not find controls for air conditioning. When I asked the front desk (less than friendly folk) about it the following morning, I was told that "that room does not have air conditioning". I replied that the internet had advertised a/c and I had paid for a room that I assumed had a/c. After a brief pause, the clerk offered to move us to another room with a/c, which he did. So I cannot fault them for being unresponsive. As other "posters" on this site have mentioned, the rooms are a bit dated (old wallpaper, cracked hardwood floors). But they were clean, which is more important to me. We just use the room to sleep and don't spend much time there, so it was fine with us. Hint: Just around the corner and not to be missed is the Museum of Ukrainian Art: the best collection of religious icons we've seen anywhere in the world---outstanding. Highly recommended, even if you think you don't like religious art. Hint: The Kiev Ballet is exceptional---precise dancing, glorious costumes and sets, a true "must" if you are in the city. Closing thought: Always agree on a price with the cab driver first; we were ripped off time and time again: when travelling with Ukrainian-speaking friends, we paid 38H; the return trip (alone), we paid 100H. 100H seemed to be the standard rate regardless of the length of our brief journeys. I decided to stay here because I wanted a real Ukranian / Soviet experience, and this hotel is from that era. It doesn't have the western influence as obviously the American hotels do based on historical context and the foundation of the hotel when this was still the Soviet Union. I liked that my breakfast was Soviet. I liked that the rooms were Soviet. However, […] what I didn't like was having to pay ransom fees almost every day. I traveled to Kiev with my girlfriend. Anyway we both would come back after 11pm, the Security guy by the elevator wouldn't let us go up. "No girl after 11pm." This is obviously to prevent the wrong crowd... I understand that. But when she shows her own security card, and her ID, I feel like that shouldn't have been issue (actually, I don't think it should have been an issue in the first place... she was greatly insulted every day.) While we discussed this the first time, he stopped another two. The two were Russian-speaking, and the guy just handed him some money, and the Security guy let them up to their room. Right in front of us. I kid you not. I had to get in his face, push him away, and take the elevator up. Another time, another employee said that someone had dropped a small travel bag with hundreds of Euros just in front of me, and accused me of taking it. There never was any person who dropped cash. He demanded to see everything in my jacket, or he would call the police. It was a total scam... because they know travelers sometimes travel with lots of cash. I only had pounds, so wrong country for this little game of his. You lose. I know the city center location is tempting. And if you want a true Soviet experience, including having to bribe people and constant corruption, then be my guest. But if you want to enjoy your time in Kiev, stay at another hotel. I had one of the renovated rooms and it was satisfactory, only thing was that the heating did not work at all even after I changed rooms. Also in the first room I did not get any hot water, and both issues were a problem since it was early April and cold outside. The staff was helpful enough and I got a heater in the room plus hot water was working […] properly once I had made the switch. Internet is $10 (USD) for two hours and I found that extremely expensive, as well as using the gym for $20 per visit unless one goes there before noon. The gym itself needs a renovation, but at least you can get cardio done on the treadmill. You can't beat the location, although I was bothered by street noise all through the night, even if I was in the 8th floor where one would think that it would be quiet enough. Hotel restaurant is good and it's located on the 12th floor with a nice view, but the lobby bar is very overpriced. Everything you'd want to see is within convenient walking distance. Overall I think the hotel was a good value for the price, but I did not enjoy the extra charges (internet, gym) which should be complimentary and included in the room rates. Typical of Kiev in general, there is a holdover of Soviet practices. The hotel is a masterpiece of Soviet architecture, inside and out. The rooms are old and could use a remodel. The staff is rather rude and aggressive. The doorman tried to get me to take a prostitute. There's a great strip club attached. The food is not bad at all...

Proper Soviet era hotel which has been updated just enough to bring it to modern standards. The period interiors looked great and the staff were sufficiently surly. My single room was tiny and hot. Was not told that my room would have no air conditioning. It was miserable to try and sleep with no air conditioning. When I asked hotel staff why there was no air conditioning they stated that the category of room I reserved was not equipped with air conditioning. This was not stated in my reservation. I am disappointed.

Old hotel, small room, not updated, and worst of all no air conditioning. I could not sleep all night because it was terribly hot and there was alot of street noise because I had to leave the window open.

My first stay was great. My room had been updated and was very comfortable. However, on my return trip to Kiev I had a totally different experience. I was on a floor where the rooms were not updated. My room did not have airconditioning and was incredibly hot. Hotel Dnipro is a great location in Kiev to enjoy the city. Convenience to events cannot be beat. Hotel is under some new renovation. very good location and very convenient, bars and restaurants all around. excellent buffet breakfast. some rooms may be a bit old but all in all very good value for money.i would come again.

Hotellet ligger centralt till de flesta sevärdheterna och har bar, restaurang och swimmingpool. Utmärkt service.

Vi hadde et hyggelig opphold på Hotell Dnipro i Kiev i påsken. Personalet var meget serviceinnstilt, og de snakket bra engelsk. Frokosten på hotellet var meget bra, og rikelig utvalg. Hotellet ligger sentralt plassert, i enden av hovedgata. I weekenden stenges denne gata for biltrafikk, og det er varierende underholdning i og langs gata. 2 types de chambres. Standard qui sont très confortable. Economique qui sont d'un aspect plus vieux surtout la salle de bain. Hôtel au centre de la ville. Restaurant panoramique etc etc. Parfait

selve hotel kan ikke kaldes 4 stjerner. Det er 3. God morgenmad.

##Standard## Sett till västliga mått så är detta ett rättså "basic" hotell. Det var ganska slitet, men klart över förväntan för att ligga i Kiev, Ukraina där allt annat är väldigt gammalt och slitet. Frukosten var helt okej, man blev mätt men det är ingen höjdare direkt. I övrigt så är detta ett helt okej hotell som jag kan rekommendera andra. ##Läget## Läget […] är verkligen bra. Du har nära till allt du kan tänka dig. Tunnelbanan ligger bara några hundra meter från hotellet och själva placeringen är mitt i centrum. ##Taxi## Boka taxi på telefon. Jag betalade 190 UAH från flygplatsen till hotellet och 150 UAH från hotellet till flygplatsen (Borispol). ##Nackdelar## * Att man ska behöva betala för Wifi 2012 är för mig helt obegripligt. Dnipro on hotelli, jossa on tallella 1900 luvun alun tunnelma. Tosin infrastruktuuri tuntui olevan samalta ajalta mutta silti toimivaa. Hotelli sopii sellaiselle,joka ei kavahda kuluneita paikkoja.. Erinomainen aamiainen live pianomusiikin soidessa oli hieno kokemus.

Hotellin pitäisi investoida kuluviin rakenteisiin ja kalusteisiin. Hotellihuoneen lattian ja sängyn natina epämukavaa. Aamiainen mainio ja henkilökunta ystävällistä

Personalen på hotellets reception betedde sig ytterst konstigt enligt mitt se på service vänlighet. Under tiden dom betjänade mig så kunde helt plötsligt börja prata i telefonen, prata med varandra eller på annat sätt inte se mig som kund! När dom inte kunde svara på en fråga så viftade dom bara bort mig! Dom kändes arroganta, otrevliga och bara ute […] efter mina pengar. Rummet som jag bodde i var gammalt. Låg intill en stor väg som trafikerades mycket vilket innebär hög ljudnivå i mitt rum. En fönster var trasigt och som åkte upp hela tiden vilket innebar naturligtvis att ljudet blev högre! もっと読む

Dyr Internet access som är instabilt. Det suger. Frukosten och servicen är fyrstjärnig men rummen har passerat bäst före-datum. Lite exotiskt att under helgen dela frukost med par där den ene är medelålders man och kvinnan är i 20-årsåldern och klädd i tajta åtsittande kläder och en miniskirt....
