連泊４日間でベットメイク忘れ１日。又、シーツと枕カバーの取り換え４日間無しでした。したがって長期連泊には、適さないと思います。

4泊しました。それまでは普通に過ごせたのですが、3泊目の掃除が入った日に悲劇が起こりました。 朝部屋を出て戻ってきたのが16時。扉を開けカードキーを電気の差込口に入れようとしたらなんとティッシュの箱のふたが刺さっていて電気がついている状態でした。ありえない…。さらに部屋を見回すとベッドはぐちゃぐちゃでゴミ箱は２つあるのに一つはゴミが入ったまま。タオルは交換されているのにティッシュボックスがなくなっていました。フタが刺さっていたのはどういう事だったのでしょうか？また、バスローブは紐だけが残されていました。フロントにバスローブとティッシュが部屋に無い事を行ったら一つしか持ってきてくれませんでした。さらに、掃除の後は誰が掃除をしたのかが書いてある紙が残されるのですがその日は何も残されていなく、あり […] えなすぎてビックリな日でした。 もっと読む

空港から出ているAirbusが停車するホテルとガイドブックに書かれていたのでわざわざ予約したのに、結局止まらないことが判明し、スーツケースを引きづりながら登り坂を10分近くかけて歩きようやくホテルに到着。夜も11時半まで上層階でパーティーがあったらしく騒音に悩まされた。チェックイン時に事前に教えてもらえたら良かったのに‥空港へのバス停の場所もホテルのスタッフから歩いて遠い方を教えられた。

We stayed in a dump the night before so a closet would have been an upgrade but, this hotel was great. Right in the heart of downtown, walking distance to the harbor and everything. The wifi signal is weak in the rooms but it's free...which is extremely rare in New Zealand.

Both couples enjoyed their stay, found it was an easy walk to The Civic theatre and not too far from The Wynyard Quarter/Viaduct areas. Our only negative comment would be that each room (we booked 2) were charged for drinks that we never consumed. OK - but i was disappointed that I could not get the internet service to work in my room. I was connected to a help desk person but they could not help me sort out the problem either - I think it related to the slow band speeds in the hotel.

We booked this hotel as it was close to Civic Centre where Jersey Boys was playing. The airport bus dropped us off in Queen Street and it was about an 8 - 10 minute walk to the hotel. It is uphill but not overly strenuous. Rydges was a nice hotel we were very pleased with it.

Average hotel. Difficult to trace the hotel.

The only thing good about this hotel was its location. Other than that It has nothing to offer. We found its bathroom smallest I have ever seen with a very mediocore room.

We like our stay in Rydges. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and the room is very clean and confortable. Hotel is very close to shopping street and has a supermarket nearby. We will stay here next time.

Excelent Hotel in very convenient location,very reasonable Rates,and an excelent Restaraunt.

This is a very comfortable hotel, ideally situated in the cdb, the reception area is good, and all the staff obliging, when possible we always stay there.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights. The location was good, an easy walk down to the harbour and one block from the SkyTower. The rooms were clean but standard. I had a choice of two rooms, both of which were facing the apartment block next door which meant we had to keep the curtains fully closed the whole time which wasn't very nice. I had booked the standard king room and they offered us a free upgrade to a newer room but we ended up choosing the older room as it had a bigger bed which we needed for my tall partner. With more than 150 travel days yearly, I usually I only take the time to write a rating of a Hotel if it is either very good or dissapointing bad. Unfortunately Rydges fall into to last category. The price did not put expectations up for extravagancy but it did make me expect a decent business level hotel. Somehow the surface looks ok, danish designer […] furniture in the lobby and a slick modern ground floor restaurant. But it seems like it do not have that influence of a management perspective looking at everything from top to buttome and correcting the small bits and pieces. E.g. I spilled som coffee in bed and left the stain exposed to to have the sheet changed.. did not happen. Minibar was not automatically refilled and I had to call two times to make it happen. Breakfast was around 30 kiwi $ with a terrible too creamy pre-made scrambled egg and bacon which was more like a pile of boiled thin sliced port. The above is just what comes into my mind a week later, but all to say it was far from good experience but I should say not terrible either. This hotel is only one block away from Sky City which is the main central attraction in Auckland. It allows for many transportion options and is great for walking the city! Central to everything!! Very helpful staff.

No problems with the hotel however when I made an enquiry about antique shops in Auckland, staff had no idea but despite not being busy, didn't offer to check the internet for us or make any enquiries. Mini bar prices were exhorbitant - $5 for a $1 bottle of water. Really! Good location - easy walk to plenty of eating places and the piers. Parking is […] adjacent and a reasonable cost for the city. Bed was okay but only 2 bath towels for 2 adults so none spare for hair-washing. Bring back the days where 4 1/2 star hotels provided extra towels in the roooms. Plenty of pillows & reasonable variety. Easy access from the motorway despite lots of one way streets - take the Nelson Street exit then a right onto Victoria & left into Federal. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. It was in a very convenient location, right in the city. The room was spacious, very modern and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly; we arrived very late on a Saturday night and were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Quite new and refreshed feeling when enter the lobby, friendly and help staff. Handy to downtown with all the restautants,shops and the harbour. Simple style but bring me the home feeling.

The room was fine and comfortable. There was free internet providing you have your own laptop. I did not like the parking and the fee but that probably comes with parking in a city. Otherwise, the location was decent and room was very nice. I would stay there again.

The hotel is located to close to The Sky Tower where there is the long distance shuttle bus terminal from where you can go to other major cities. The room has enough space enable you to move around with having 2 large suitcases open. The room is relatively new and well maintained and neat and tidy. Convenient location, rooms had free wi-fi. I'd stay there again.

Very comfortable, clean and great location. Staff were friendly and efficient and service excellent. Enjoyed the facilities but microwave would have been good addition to room. Great facilities including gym but disappointed no swimming pool.

This hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Auckland city centre - just minutes from the Sky Tower, Viaduct, Queen Street etc Rooms were modern and clean and staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

We where late with our booking, so had to take a room with a king bed, this tuned out to be an internal facing room no; 910, the sink area built onto a small wall and was open plan into the bedroom, the shower area had no extraction, a disappointing room.

Everything is so clean and perfect! Location, service,.. I definitely recommend this hotel to others. If we visit Auckland again, then we will definitely stay there.

Very good location and great service, friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable.

Super comfortable bed and pillows - very hard to leave. Right next to skycity and close to viaduct. Only complaint was the quality of the tv picture and the price for internet- $10 an hour. We found an internet cafe around the corner that was cheaper.

I checked in, as I have elsewhere in the US and Australia as well as New Zealand. I connected my laptop to collect email and upon check out received a $4,500.00 bill for data usage. I did not down load movies, music or large files. The hotel "negotiated with their ISP a reduction of the charge to $800.00! A great location in the central city, and easy walk to town & the viaduct.

Great service and freindly staff and an awesome bar the breakfast was great although alittle on the high side for cost. The room was great also good veiws of the tower etc room was clean and tidy my partner found the bed was a little to hard for her but ok for me and tv needs better reception but overall we would stay again

Great stay, excellent locality. We didnt use the dining facilities so unable to comment on these.

Generally the room and hotel were exelent, although I do have concerns about houskeeping.
