ケルン中央駅からすぐということでしたが、本当に近くて、観光にとても便利でした。 フロントの女性はにこやか、親切、レストランのウェイターも感じ良く、とても気持ち良く滞在できました。 部屋もキレイで、シングルで十分な広さ。使い勝手良く滞在しました。 朝食も、ドイツパン、チーズ、トマト、ハム、ヨーグルト、ドリンク等、内容は毎日同じでしたが、種類が多く飽きることなく美味しくいただくことができます。 線路が近く、騒音に敏感な方には気になるかもしれませんが、私は大丈夫でした。 フリーWi-Fiだったこともとってもありがたかったです。 またケルンを訪れることがあったら、是非利用したいです。

朝9時半に到着したので荷物の預かりをお願いしたところ、部屋の準備ができているからと入室することができました。私は眺望なし（窓はある）のQuiet roomを用意してもらいました。大通りに面した部屋は交通騒音があるのかもしれません。　部屋にはセキュリティBox、冷蔵庫（Mini-bar）あり。ベッドはやや小さめ。でも全体的に清潔で居心地はよかったです。　無線LAN無料。IDとパスコードをフロントでもらって、室内でも使用可。　朝食は7時ぴったりには準備できており、ハム・チーズの種類も多く、卵・ベーコンなど火を通したものまでありました。無料付帯の内容としては十分過ぎるほど。　大聖堂や市街地からは駅を挟んで逆方向ですが、駅から徒歩5分程でこの値段（しかも朝食付）はとても満足です。

ケルン中央駅に近いホテルということで選びました。 実際、本当に近く、 ちょっとした買い物に出るにも 駅が近くで便利でした。 また、部屋も清掃が行き届いておりましたし、 フロントの女性のスタッフも親切。 料金も良心的な価格でしたので、 またケルンを訪れた際には利用したいと思いました。 根っからのお風呂好きとしては、 バスタブがないことだけが唯一の心残りというか、 残念なことではありましたが、 文化の違い等々もありますので その辺は考慮したいと思います。

2011年６月に利用しました。 ケルン中央駅から歩いて５分ほどでいけますので とても便利でした。夜に女性の一人歩きも普通にできました。（夏なので明るいからかもしれませんが） 近くに教会があるので、鐘の音が結構聞こえますが個人的には好きな音なので気になりませんでした。 部屋は清潔感があり、シングルですが、部屋事態は広かったです。朝食も充実していました。 暖房はありましたが、冷房は多分なかったように思います。

ケルン中央駅から徒歩５分ほどの所にあるホテルです。ホテルから駅の反対方向に歩いて５分以内の所にスーパーも２，３店あり，何かと便利。部屋はこじんまりしているけれどきれいだし，バスルームもシャワーとトイレだけでバスタブはないけれどきれいです。朝食も各種パンに各種チーズ＆ハム，それから２，３種類のジュースにヨーグルトと各種フルーツのビュッフェで味も量も十分でした。ネットは部屋からは有料だけど，１ＦのフロントロビーならワイヤレスＬＡＮが使えて接続速度も問題なかったです。値段の割には良いことずくめの，また泊まってもいいなと思えるホテルでした。

ホテルは駅から近いが道が少し寂しいところを通らなくてはいけない為日が暮れてからの一人歩きはちょっと怖い気がした。 チェックインの時間より早い時間に到着したが、部屋に入れてもらえ良かった。 朝食はたくさんの種類があり、美味しい。

The hotel was more than I expected. Roomy for Europe, good breakfast, close to the DOM and shopping. I would stay there again.

The hotel is very well located but still in a quiet area, few minutes away from station and cathedrale. Simple but good room. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast every morning with different pastries/ breads so you can try various german specialties as well as more classical stuff. Small but comfortable rooms, very well situated to main train station.

Close to the station, good, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Overall a very good economical option for staying in the centre of town.

This hotel has a very central location, next to the cologne main station. Nevertheless, this causes some noisy surrounding, especially because of the close railways. The room was clean an comfortable, although some of the furnishing look more functional than comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Decent rooms. Walking distance from all downtown attractions. Friendly staff. And close to the train station. Maybe a little too close to the train station (not a picturesque view), but I was in for business and too tired from travel for it to be of any concern.

The location was convenient to the main train station and to the cathedral and museums.

I got an complimentary upgrade for a comfort room and it was wonderful! It was very spacious, clean, and had very modern furniture. Awesome service!

Effecient, decent place and very well located.

the hotel is a good choise for everyone who wants to to travel to cologne, it`s optimaly close to the next metro station and to central station, it`s also near the dom and town center. Very good breakfast buffet!

A perfectly acceptable 3 star property about 3 minutes flat walk from the main railway station and the Cathedral. Well situated for the annual Christmas Markets (though most hotels in the city centre would be). Clean and most comfortable and good knowledgable service from the staff. My room was large but lacked net curtains so had to draw main curtains […] if any privacy was required as room was overlooked by nearby properties. Bathroom large with good ammenities - excellent shower but no bath. Morning continental style breakfast was well provisioned with plenty of choice and some hot items. The only minus point was that because it was near the railway tracks, it could be a little bit noisy. That was not a big problem for me. Other than that, it is nothing but excellant.

Near to the Dom and the railstation. Clean & neat

Spent 3 nights - location approx 5 min walk from Dom and Main Railway station. Convenient for sightseeing. (Christmas Markets, DOM and museums). Modern clean and efficiently run hotel. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Only item lacking was a tea/coffee maker in the room. Otherwise very good including the self service breakfast which was good quality.

updated contemporary, great inclusive breakfast, 5 min walk from the HBF, very good location.

Excellent location, a 5 minute (safe) walk from the train station. The purpose of my trip was business, requiring regular train access, so the location was perfect for me. My walks were early in the morning and late at night and I felt completely safe everytime. Good restaurants with reasonable rates and excellent food were located very closeby. Hotel Cristall is a very convenient 5 minute walk from the main station (Cologne Hbf). The reception are is modern and inviting, but the hotel is situated between a dual carriageway on one side and the railway lines of Cologne station on another. You might want to ask for a room on the quieter Church side - as long as you don't mind being woken up by […] church bells at 7am each morning! Breakfast is simple but good and the hotel staff friendly. Rooms and bathroom are on the small side and don't be surprised to find one of those old-style in-window air-conditioning systems in your room as the hotel doesn't have piped aircon. That said, it's a great little business hotel as long as you don't mind things being clean and simple. And the wi-fi is probably one of the fastest I've come across. Hotel is conveniently located, about 5-10mins away from Cologne Hauptbanhof, with a supermarket and some restaurants nearby. However, one wing of the hotel is facing the main road. The sounds of moving vehicles and trains goes on throughout the day and night and can be disturbing for a light sleeper. The other wing faces a side street and is much quieter. […] The hairdryer in my room broke down one night and when I requested for a spare, I was told that the spare hairdryer had been loaned to another hotel guest and there were no more hairdryers. I find this baffling given that there are 97 rooms in the hotel. The front desk staff apologised for the inconvenience without suggestion of alternatives. I had to ask the staff if i could use the hairdryer in another room as I was unable to get to sleep with wet hair. Thankfully the staff allowed me to do so. The faulty hairdryer in my room was also efficiently replaced by the next night. Hotel room is clean generally and buffet breakfast, though a little limited in variety was alright. Very convenient for the railway station. Clean and well-appointed rooms and a very good breakkfast buffet. All at an affordable price.

the room is clean and comfortable but the bed and pillows are too soft. No air-conditioner in the room which is not that great for summer time !!! The buffet breakfast is very good especially the variety of bread and all are delicious. Location is ok, close to the train station but the surrounding is a bit quiet.

The hotel was lovely and the location perfect

Stayed at Hotel Cristall for a night in Aug 2011. Location is awesome. Very friendly and helpful...definitely recommend!

Although we planned only three nights, my daughter and I extended our stay an additional two nights at this fine little hotel. Located near the main railroad station and within a few blocks of the Cologne Cathedral and the old (2000 years dating to the Romans) town, the Cristall is very convenient with friendly staff, an excellent breakfast buffet and […] staff that spoke excellent English. Missisng public-computer i reception-aera.

Let me start by saying this is a nice hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was amazingly great. The room was pretty good size. The hotel is very close to the HBF train station and the Cologne Cathedral. However, this is part of the problem. To get to the hotel you can of high to go up the street and then over and back down […] in a U shape. This won't make any sense until you actually go, but the issue is you end up adjacent to the train station which means you will hear trains constantly. This wouldn't be such a big deal except for the fact that the standard rooms do NOT have Air Conditioning! Despite what the room description says only the upgraded rooms in the newer part of the hotel have AC. So we had to have our windows open at night and it was noisy as heck. My wife could not sleep at all. Combine the above with the fact that the bed was not comfortable at all. It was very very firm and the pillows were terrible. very good value for money hotel in a convenient location 5 min walk from main train station. room small but perfectly adequate for a short one or two night stay. friendly staff and good breakfast included in price. could not be beaten for hotel on a budge.

It is located ideally and very close to station and cathrederal. The staff/Manager at the reception was very helpful and responded very well to some of my emergency problems. Breakfast was good with varities of fruits, breads, cheese, salads etc. etc.

We loved the original decor and spacious room. Lots of thought has gone into the design and convenience. The air conditioning could be better as motorway noise stopped us opening the window and we got hot at night. A brief description of how to get there from the nearby train station would have been good as we got disorientated and lost in the Cathedral […] Square eg keep the Cathedral on your left, turn right at the roundabout then left at the end of the road. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof, so is quite central. The room was clean and I felt there was enough space. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here if I visited Cologne again.

The hotel was very nicely kept and the staff were very good. The room was somewhat stuffy and there was no air-con. However, I would happily stay there again.

Stayed here in June 2011. Found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly and spoke fluent English as do most Germans (puts us Brits to shame). This was a great deal. Very good price and great location. It is close to shops, train station, and restaurants. The rooms are a decent size, bed comfortable and best of all, they have AC!

Hotel Cristall is well situated near the HBF in Cologne. It is neat and tidy with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfasts are real good. Staff speak English as well which was a bonus.

A great hotel. The room was simple and modern with plenty of space. Although the hotel is close to the main train station in Cologne, the neighborhood is quiet at night. The breakfast bar was fresh with a fantastic variety of fruits, cereals, breads and meats. A great experience!

Quite central within walking distance from the Railway station. Being central, it was quieter than I thought even on the first floor. Buffet breakfast was good plus free wireless internet.
