The hotel is situated remotely from the London city centre. There are public transport options available to bring you where you would like to go. Rooms are recently renovated and have minimal furniture. The overall hotel facilities are good and complete, and prices are reasonable for London.

We thoroughly enjoyed our third visit to Jurys Islington. The hotel is ideally located. It is 2 mins from the shops,bars and restaurants of Upper Street. The transport links are excellent with a number of busses stopping outside the hotel and Angel underground 2 mins away. £10 per day for Internet connection and with limited soundproofing as well. When we checked in for a 3 nights stay we received our room card and log on details for the Wi-Fi. At not stage was the Wi-Fi costs listed or mentioned. It was only when we checked out that the cost of £10 per day was revealed. If we had known about the cost we wouldn't have […] used it as we only used it to check our emails. The other disappointing factor with our stay was the lack of sound proofing in the rooms. Across the hall were a family with 2 young children. The children were quite noisy and were still running riot after 10.00pm. Also the adjourning roomm you could hear whenever they went to the bathroom. This hotel would rate as a 3 star “no extras hotel” that had a room rate higher than other hotels 4 star hotels that we have stayed at. Comfortable stay only complaint was the noise from the street - could hear everything.

Just returned from Europe vacation with family. Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. VERY AVERAGE and NOT worth the money. Hotel is a bit of a walk from the Angel train station (north line) which was closed over the weekend for repairs so had to walk over a mile to next train station. Hotel staff was cooly receptive (effecient but certainly not friendly or […] willing to go out of their way to accomodate anyone). They offered no area maps, no bus line maps and basically pointed in the general direction of things and then you were on your own. The surrounding area seems relatively safe but not great in terms of restaurant choices. Be prepared to walk a great deal or take an expensive cab. Bus service is good if you can figure out where to go. I was visiting a relative in London, otherwise would not have stayed in this area. Very smart hotel with extremely helpful and polite staff. Decent sized bedrooms with comfortable bathrooms and a great breakfast in the morning. A perfect hotel should you be working in the Business Design Centre but don't want to pay the extortionate prices the Hilton think is acceptable.

This hotel is fine - nothing great, nothing terrible. Well, actually the fact that the heat did not work and my room was 18c (62 f) degrees wasn't so good. I asked for a room change and the next room was also 18 degrees at 4:30 in the morning. . I got a heater the next night. Breakfast was terrific however - a big buffet that was fast and easy.

room very small but nice london views and fresh air. bathroom was dated & hot water kept going off, hairdyer kept overheating.service a little slow & would have been nice to have a bisucit with my coffee. expensive for facilities.

The reception staff told me that the hotel had recently undergone refurbishment and it was certainly of a very high standard, my room was spotless and well appointed, but it is the staff at this hotel that truly made my stay a noteworthy one. The room we were first given looked out onto the carpark . There was a noisy generator just outside so we asked for a quieter room. This was done with courtesy and no fuss. We still looked out onto the car park but this time there was no noise. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower control was very stiff to turn and a grab rail was […] loose. However the bathroom was a good size, unlike some we've experienced. There were several mirrors in the room which were very useful. Breakfast was included in the price we paid. We enjoyed our stay in Jury's Inn Islington. The staff were very helpfull, the room was good and cleaned each day and we enjoyed the breakfast we had there on one morning during our stay. I would stay there again as it is so close to everything.

A very modern and pleasant hotel on the ground floor with a modern reception and breakfast area. The bar has a great feel with booths and a widescreen tv screen. The rooms are clean with the beds being fairly comfortable, pillows a little hard though. Buffet self service English breakfast is perfectly cooked not greasy and quality food used.

Central hotel, conveniently located near Angel tube station, could access most of london from here. Hotel Clean and service very good. Very nice hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August. Staff very helpful and polite. Modern hotel, rooms very clean and comfortable although walls a bit thin between rooms. They also provide free safety deposit boxes which is very handy. The breakfast is excellent quality and plentiful. In fact you probably wont need any lunch! Fint hotell, rent og pent og hyggelig betjening. Gode bussforbindelser og T-bane rett i nærheten. Jamie Oliver restaurant 100 meter fra hotellet :-) - veldig bra!

Hôtel très agréable; pas assez d'informations dans l'accueil de l'hôtel fournies sur les énormes problèmes actuels(travaux)dans le métro londonien(Underground) en prévision des JO2012 qui ont un peu gâchés notre séjour.

Hotelli oli hintaansa nähden todella laadukas. Brittihotellit voivat olla millaisia tahansa, mutta tämä osoittautui oikein laadukkaaksi paikaksi. Keskustan nähtävyyksien luo reilu puolen tunnin kävelymatka. Lähellä paljon mukavia pubeja ja Jamiesin italialainen ravintola, joka on aivan loistava. Detta hotell visade hög standard och personalen var väldigt serviceinriktad och effektiv. Snyggt och fräscht i alla utrymmen. Jag tror att det varken är det billigaste eller dyraste hotellet, men det kändes som att jag fick bra valuta för pengarna. Läget är mycket bra med tunnelbanan runt hörnet. De geboekte kamer voor 4 personen -met twee aparte bedden en 1 tweepersoonsbed -zoals vermeld op de site heeft het hotel NIET ter beschikking. Toch hadden wij deze via de site geboekt !! Ontbijt ok met vers fruit en ruime keuze. Hotel tres propre,belle chambre, bon accueil et petit déjeuner complet de bonne qualité, juste la salle a manger trop petite pour accueillir le matin tous les clients, donc un peu d'attente, mais ceci n'est pas vraiment genant. Hotellet låg i ett område med mycket bra kommunikation till centrum både via buss och tunnelbana. Rent och nytt med mycket bra personal. Frukosten var mycket bra och även restaurangen höll en ok standard likväl som puben. Hittade Jamie Olivers Italian hundra meter nedför gatan vilket var ett plus. Vi var 2 voksne og 2 barn (7 & 8 år) som overnattet 3 netter på hotellet. Vi likte hotellet svært godt. Rommet var rent og det hadde en grei størrelse. Barna lå i sovesofa. Den var i minste laget, så jeg anbefaler at man ikke velger familierom med sovesofa hvis man har større barn. Personalet var hyggelig og hjelpsomme. Frokostbuffeen var bra. Vi var meget glade for hotellet - der også har en rigtig fin morgenmadsbuffet. Vi blev lidt overraskede da vi chekkede ud fordi vi blev opkrævet for internet - hvis der har været oplysning om dette har det ikke været tydeligt for os....

Pas le plus confortable des hôtels que nous ayons testé... mais il est presque au coeur de Londres: Métro ANGEL à 2 minutes à pied et 15 minutes de métro+marche maxi pour découvrir n'importe quel coin culturel et/ou branché de Londres.

A 200 m de la station de metro 'ANGEL', et proche du centre ville, cet hotel tout confort nous énormément plu. Lors de notre prochain séjour à Londres, nous y retournerons sans la moindre hésitation. Accueil et chambres impeccables. Service petit déjeuner proposant un très large choix. Que du bonheur!
