レンタカーで観光地を巡りながら、ニースからペルピニャンへの移動途中での宿泊でした。 市の中心部から2ｋｍ程度離れていますが、ゲートの有る屋根付き専用駐車場が無料で利用できました。 館内や部屋は決して新しくありませんがリフォームされているので不快な感じはありません。 ホテル内のレストランもお手頃な値段でした。そして一番は、フロントスタッフの対応が素晴らしかった事です。 今回レンタカーでトラブルが発生したのですが、私はフランス語がほとんど話せないのにレッカーやレンタカー会社にアポイントを取ってくれました。 不慣れな土地での対応には本当に助かりました。

オーナー夫妻も素敵な方で，宿泊前から色々と相談にのって頂けました．キッチンもきれいでオーブン付きなのも便利でした．マルシェもすぐ近くにあり料理をしたい人に取ってはかなりこれも便利．

家内と二人で滞在しました。丘の上にあり、遠目からも古いお城がよく見えました。建物の内部もお城の雰囲気そのままです。部屋もとても素敵でした。窓からは一面のブドウ畑ですが、夜には遠目街の灯りも見えました。レストランではシェフのお薦めコースをいただきましたが、味、ボリュームともにとても満足しました。その時に飲んだ赤ワインもとっても美味しかったです！翌朝、ワインを買って帰ろうと思ったのですが、ショップがまだ開いていなくて変えませんでした。この近辺のシャトーはどこも10時半くらいにならないとお店が開かないみたいです。出来れば今度は2泊くらいして、自転車を借りて周辺のシャトー巡りをしてみたいです。

駅からちょっと遠く、行きはトランクを引いて歩いて行ったので大変だったが、帰りはタクシーを予約してもらえた。ホテルのスタッフはとても親切で、滞在は心地よく、観光スポットにも割と近くてよかった。石造りの階段、食堂など、古い建物を利用した趣のある内部だった。

部屋はちょっといい部屋に泊まり広くて快適でした。アヴィニョンはそんなに広くないので観光にも問題ありませんでした。駅も近いのでアルルやオランジュの観光の拠点にするにもいいと思います。

The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Provence. Moreover, the property is so lovely and the service so wonderful, that we were disappointed we did not have more time just to spend on site. Pool area is lovely, the chairs and towels were luxurious and the poolside food service was great. Room was lovely and well appointed with gorgeous views. L'hotel est vieillissant, et la chambre (non rénovée) propre mais petite et triste. L'entretien général est insuffisant pour le niveau présumé d'un 5*: piscine sale avec des matériaux cassés (rebords, bains de soleil ..) et , inadmissible nombreuses serviettes de bains fortement jaunies (pas lavées depuis l'automne ?). een sfeervol en luxe hotel, zo'n 20 minuten van de snelweg. met GPS prima te vinden overigens. vriendelijk personeel die graag een stap extra zet. mooi zwembad en uitstekend restaurant met voortreffelijk eten. Te weinig personeel bij drukte tijdens het diner dus "snel een hapje eten" is hier niet op zijn plaats. mooie wijnkaart maar tegen zeer stevige […] prijzen ! Ontbijt valt wat tegen. Rommelige opzet en niet al te veel keus. kamers zijn niet groot maar wel comfortabel. De sofa in de junior suite is een slaapbed maar een volwassenen kan daar niet een goede nachtrust op hebben. het is jammer dat het hotel veel kleine beschadigingen kent. "Hotel en travaux et categorie de reservation des chambres non respectée..."
Nous avions reservé au Vallon de Valrugues et nous avons été mis au Mas de Valrugues qui est une residence hotelière 3 etoiles, et non 5. Du coup la categorie de la chambre de la reservation n'a pas été du tout respecté et aucun remboursement de tarif n'a été fait! Nous avions un petit appartement avec une cuisine et un salon, propre certe, mais avec […] aucun charme. Une décoration digne d'Ikea... De plus, l'hotel est en travaux. On a été obligé de passer a travers le chantier du spa pour acceder a notre chambre. La nuit, le chemin n'etait pas eclairé, plein de terre et de pierres donc assez dangereux.
