The hotel was ok, typical room and bathroom set-up. For the price and location, could not have asked for anything more. The walls were pretty thin, though. Luckily me and my friends are hard sleepers.

Great location. Spend the nite while going to a concert downtown. When checking in asked about cab service to event..Was told no problem. Well was a big problem. Ordered cab went outside to wait and another 7 people there waiting for a cab fron same company hotel recommended. 1/2 hour to show no cabs.. We had a nice stay. The only thing I had a problem with was the bathroom was not clean. Looks like the toilet had not been cleaned in a while. But other than that, everything else was clean.

I have stayed at several holiday Inns and have always been pretty much pleased, however at this one I was very dissasified with the room. Below I have listed the issues we had. 1. The shower Curtain Rod was loose 2. This was a full handicap room as well 3. The toliet was loost from the floor and rocked greatly 4. We had no phone in the room and had […] to ask for one which they brought promptly. 5. We had no remote in the room and asked for one on our way out to dinner and when we returned we still had no remote and had to go to the front desk and ask again. 6. All avaliable plugins were being used and either had to unplug the TV or lamp to use the laptop. Our room overall seemed pretty beat up and run down. On a positve note the staff was extremly friendly (even though we had to ask 2 times for a remote) and the breakfeast the next morning was a great bonus. I would be very hesistate to reccomnend this Hotel to anyone based on the hotel itself. As far as the staff goes any Hotel would love to have them as employees. もっと読む

My husband, a friend, and I stayed there last minute while in town, and it was just what we needed for the moment. The breakfast was decent. We even enjoyed that is was attached to the Applebee's.

The shower in the room did not have a shower curtain in it. I complained all weekend, but still did not get one. Therefore, it was very difficult to shower without getting water everywhere.

This place was disgusting! I found garbage all over the room and there was something like pop or juice stains on the walls. The staff was friendly and helpful but the prostitute looking ladies of the night made me scared to leave my room after dark. Also there is NO ventilation in the bathroom so it's moldy and musty... Don't stay here!

Cleanliness and location are great. Had problems with toliet running all the time and the shower curtin rod was was bent. Causing the curtin to never stay closed. Kind of annoying.

Stayed one night and the room was good. I would stay there agian. Pros:Staff is friendly and helpful, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Cons:However, bathrooms are really cramped.

Awesome. Great, affordable and comfortable for a short stay; that's the only experience I have with this hotel. One night, but I'm still impressed. Complimentary breakfast and a FANTASTIC location. Plenty of surrounding restaurants and right near the capitol and FSU!

The hotel is fine, but we would never go to the attached Applebee's restaurant again. We waited a very long time for our food. When we finally got it, it was just barely warm enough. The server was not attentive. She could read the disgust on our faces, and so she reduced the bill. That was a good thing, but not worth going there again. We picked the Holiday Inn because it was the start point for the Florida Capital Volkswalk. And it served us well at that purpose. Being deliberate walkers and car-shunners, we found the c. half hour walk downtown a little inconvenient but not a problem - we just needed to allow more time. We were very disappointed in the rooms. They were very old. They need alot of updating. The room prices are way over priced for what you get. It had an old musty smell. I would never stay there again.

We arrived tired and dirty and wanting to take a shower and go to bed. The first room had no hot water. We called and they said they would fix it within 45 min. We waited 45 min, no hot water. They suggested we wait another 45 min. We asked to be moved to another room. They moved us to another room, but it was not clean. Beds were unmaid, trash all […] over the floor, towels in the tub. The hotel is in a good location but is old and the price was high for the quality of room. Breakfast was average to above. Old towels should be removed from room before new members arrive.

The room smelled so strongly of smoke I could not breathe. It made the stay bad.

This place is extremely overpriced for the quality. I have stayed in better places for 1/3 or 1/2 as much, many times over. Upon arriving I had to wait 20 minutes at the front desk before anyone even showed up to check me in! The room had a heavy smell of cheap poutpourri air freshener that irritated my sinuses. I don't even want to know what smell […] that was supposed to be covering up! The bathroom, especially the tub, was dirty. The coffee maker was covered in dust on the outside, and had dirty stuff on the inside- ugh. The beds were shoddy, uncomfortable, and too short. I'm only 5'8" and my feet hung off the end. I could see the pool from my room and it looked nasty, even from 4 floors up. The whole place looks old, run down, and in need or a makeover. We stayed there overnight the room was clean, but the bathroom was outdated, very small, and the tile looked dirty.

Towels had dirt spots on them and there was hair on the bathroom floor and bath curtain...disgusting. Made me doubt the cleanliness of the rest of the place. Pillows are lumpy and too small for the bed. Short pillows, even lots of short pillows does not satisfy. A longer pillow like a Queen or King is longer so that the head does not roll off so often. […] On departure, no one was attending the front desk so I could check out the way I wanted to. Fortunately for a permanent marker, I left a large note and wrote on the keys which room I left. For leaving the front desk unattended, I was surprised to see the front door unlocked. ROACHES!!! Stayed in room 216 and had baby roaches in the bathroom. The most uncomfortable feeling using the toilet and see a baby roach crawling. Once you signed on you get a Holiday Inn homepage which indicated if you would like to pre order room service breakfast for the morning you could by placing your order online. So we went ahead and clicked on what we wanted and it added up the total and asked if we would like to be contacted to confirm your order I chose yes and gave a telephone number to call. It also asked what time we would like our room service be delivered we chose 7:30am. We received confirmation order went thru with the total. Well here comes the morning 7:30 came no room service 7:35 came no room service then 7:45am came still no bfast and we had to leave. So went to the front desk to check out and inform them we ordered room service online last night but never came. The guy at the desk didnt even know that service was available. How can you provide such service without the staff not even knowing about it. Then after all that he asked how everything was so we mentioned the roaches. All he did was say oh im sorry. My room was extremely clean, the bed and pillows were awesome, what comfort!!!! Didn't expect any frills for the price, but a national corporation such as Holiday Inn needs to do better than musty odors in the room and mildew in the bathroom. A fiberglass shower instead of low quality tile and grout installations would help tremendously. Also, bathroom is very cramped, hard to maneuver inside.

Overall the hotel was a convenient location to FSU and restaurants/shopping. Rooms were comfortable. Outside doors were propped open which was a concern. Our hotel room door lock was faulty. It was taken care of when staff was notified.

The room was clean and comfortable. Checking in seemed to take a long time, even though there was no line. Staff was friendly. Having Applebees attached to the hotel was convenient.

Good clean room, semi-luxurious and very comfortable bedding, great service and a great rate!

This hotel is a good bargain on most days, but during college events, the rate is not worth the accomodations. The staff are helpful and pleasant, but the facility is in need of an update. It is a short drive to FSU and walkable to Governors' Mall.

The noise from the outdated air conditioning system was so loud, I had a headache next day. You would not find towels by the pool. We had to ask different people few times and only got towels in 20 minutes after we asked.

Checked in around 1am. Desk staff was excellent. Hotel is easy to locate and very convenient to shopping, eating, etc. Was only there long enought to sleep. Had to leave around 10:00 am. Tuvimos una super estadia con un buen descanzo en buenas camas, la atencion fue extraordinaria.. Internet free, asi pudimos hacer la reserva de nuestro siguiente hotel en otro estado. Excelente desayuno.
