"What else could you ask for?"
A clean, quiet hotel within walking distance to many restaurant optionsr. Saturday night with a full parking lot, I heard no noise making for a great night's sleep. Close to every historical destination, too.
Great Price and nice free buffet in the morning. its well worth the money.
"Worst hotel stay ever!!"
I stay away for business several times a month, and this is the first time I've been prompted to write and negative review about any location. Horrendous - I was placed in a room far away from an elevator and through a hallway undergoing construction. Doors, sawdust, paint, and parts were just laying on the floor in the middle of the hallway. - Upon […] arrival to the room, huge stain in front of the door. Brown / red stains on both sinks, the bathroom walls, and the shower curtain. Not small ones. HUGE nasty looking stains. - When deciding to take a shower, not only was the shower curtain stained.. but the cauking around all the tub parts and tiles was pulling away from the wall, and the drain was almost completely clogged. A shower instantly turned into a bath as the water went knee high. - The room I was given was the closest to the hotel's dumpster, which wasn't an issue until 5:30am when the truck came loudly and woke me up by repeatedly banging the dumpster against the truck to ensure all trash was out. This process took about 10 minutes. - To top it all off.. as if this wasn't enough. I received a wake up call at 6:30am an hour after the garbage truck. When I stated that I DID NOT ask for a wake up call, I got "oops wrong room, sorry". When I checked out of the hotel, I waited for 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk and help, and by that time I had planned to vent my frustration, but I was never asked how my stay was, so I figured I would let them read this, along with anyone silly enough to think of booking here. - the bed and pillow were comfortable, and the location was in the middle of plenty of restaurants and shops, but is it worth dealing with the rest of this? "Construction"
We've stayed at this hotel twice because they are pet-friendly. Both times it seems they have the courtyard roped off. Other than that, all is fine and I'm sure we'll stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable. It was a memory foam mattress. The staff was very nice. The bathroom was very small. The balcony chairs were dirty and there were cigarette butts outside. The room itself was clean.
It was OK. The hallway smelled like a cat had just sprayed it! The room was clean and the service good.

I was excited to stay here because all the reviews that I read were really good, which is the reason I made the reservation in the first place. The first night our room was over the conference center and the party there had the bass pumping until midnight. We called the front desk at 11:30 and they moved us upstairs to a different room. They were good […] about relocating us but the new room was considerably less comfortable than the first. We went from a nice tempurpedic king size bed and a fridge and microwave in the room to a room with a lumpy mattress and no fridge and microwave. Walking around the grounds there were areas of crumbling concrete stairs and areas that needed repairs badly. The halls were messy and the whole hotel badly needs an update. "Noisy Nights"
The air conditioning was extremely loud as was the ice machine. The ice machine had a high-pitched whine that droned an all night and the air conditioner woke us up everytime it turned on. "Fredericksburg Hospitality House"
We went there for a wedding. The staff were friendly, but we found the "wedding coordinator" less than helpful with assisting those in wheelchairs, walkers and other physical handicaps. She said she had been working there for years, but had us put mom and sis back in the car and drive them around the block to get to the wedding and reception site...we […] later found an elevator that would have saved all that confusion. "fredericksburg hospitality house_ would recommend"
staff was incredibly friendly and eager to please. Beds were very comfy and the food was fantastic. The hotel is directly in the center of central park which has anything you could possibly want from chain restaurants to clothing stores to a walmart. Stayimg anywhere else would be silly, especially for the price

We have stayed at a ton of hotels. For the price, you couldn't beat it. Staff was very nice.Hotel is a little older, seemed to be in good shape, the common areas were very nice. "Threadbare hotel has seen better days,"
While the check in desk is neat and orderly - the rooms themselves are threadbare and shabby. The phone in my room didnt work - it was completely ripped apart from the wall. There was a basketball sized brown stain on the window curtains. I would not stay at this hotel again and it certainly is not worth the price I paid.

"Hospitality House- Comfort over Cleanliness"
This was my third stay at Hospitality House, and definitely my least favorite. I chose this hotel because of its convenience to the college campus (my daughter is a student there) and because it has Tempurpedic mattresses. (We have one at home, and is very hard to adjust to sleeping on anything else now.) The hotel staff was extremely efficient and […] courteous. The room was less than spotless- long, black hairs on the floor in the bathroom, a pen and other items strewn across the carpeting caused me to wonder if the vacuum had been used prior to my checkin. My previous stays were delightful. I stayed this time on Friday and Saturday nights. Each night, there were people talking loudly in the corridors, knocking on and slamming doors until 3a, and a dog whimpering and barking next door. "Fredericksburg Hospitality House"
Even though lobby was pleasant and pool area looked nice, hotel is very worn out, Wires with small circuit board was handing out where access key access should have been at one access door. Sheets were old and wouldn't stay on bed. And, with no mattress pad we couldn't get of there fast enough..
