Great freeway access making it easy to get from one end of town to the other. Clean rooms, friendly staff!. The only thing is the old style a/c is a little nosie.

I live in new orleans and work in BR. I normally stay at a relatives but wanted some quiet time I've passed the hotel a few times and decided to try it. The staff was sooooo pleasant and eager to please. The room was very nice and the bed was super comfy. I've found me a new home away from home. I love love love this hotel

This hotel is next to highway but very quiet and comfortable. Staff very knowledgeable about surrounding area restaurants and stores. Speedy check in and quick check out.

The hotel staff was outstanding!!! Despite being a non-smoking hotel, our first room smelled like smoke and the room appeared to be in need of some minor repairs. When we informed the night manager, he was extremely quick about moving us to another room. Our two night stay in that room was great. Breakfast was very good. We would stay here again.

for the price, there's nothing better in the area. Helpful, friendly staff; clean, well-maintained facility; decent breakfast; great pool and gym area. The room was very nice and clean. The sofa bed left something to be desired, but we have no complaints from our stay!

The room and everything was great. I really enjoyed my experience there. Especially the front desk agent Brandon. He was really helpful in giving me directions and letting me know what places to go eat, even though I only stayed there for a night.

I loved the suite we were in. It had 2 flat scren tv's, but one only worked part of the time and the cable channels did not line up with the green card in the room. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was out of order and the pool was too cold considering that it was inside. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice.

We chose this hotel for price and location and received an even better deal. Perfect quiet location close to the interstate. Very accommodating staff, delicious quick breakfast. Super comfortable beds and easy clean bathroom facility. I will never stay anywhere else in Baton Rouge.

Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well cared for. Definitely will return next month when I'm back in Baton Rouge for business.

I enjoyed my stay with Spring Hill Suites, check in/out was easy. The room was awesome! It was a great hotel. It was nice and quite the whole time and the king size bed was great. They even have continental breakfast for you.

Hotel is convenient to shopping centers and eateries within about a 5 minute drive. Indoor air conditioned pool was wonderful for us grandparents that don't want to sit in the sun while the grands swim. Room fairly spacious with microwave and fridge so it met our needs.

We live out of town & wanted a place to stay before surgery the next day. We had never stayed in a Springhill Suites & will now consider them whenever we travel based on this experience.

The only downside was the pool. Way to small for the number of guest. Also it was dirty. Not disgusting dirty, just not properly maintain. Water color was murky in both the pool and the hottub.

The location is great but the sign is very small so I didn't find it right away but everything else about the stay was great. Very nice, clean room and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. Only complaint was the shower drained slow so by the time I was finished showering, there was about 3 inches of water in tub

staff was extremely nice. would stay again if I could get the same rate. I was able to get the room half off for the night I needed.

The hotel is very old and the hallways are long once you exit the elevator. Water in tub did not drain properly, old tv and poor lighting. Breakfast was good, not fancy but it worked...cook was nice and friendly. Reasonable for the price paid. I am still waiting on the hotel to release the hold on my card and its been almost a week.

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious -- front desk staff was the epitome of Southern hospitality!

Great hotel, great location, great service, but the bed is very hard. I am a side sleeper and it was a little too hard for my taste. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is older and not as well maintained as the newer Springhill Properties but the front desk staff did all they could to make everything right. I switched rooms twice, once for a growling tv and once when the bathroom drain wouldn't. It was a great bargain and the location is close to shopping, restaurants, etc.

We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for gymnastics state competition.

My stay was really great. I was very pleased about the staff, Hotel itself. The breakfast bar was great. I was there due to my mother haveing surgery. I was only a few minutes from anything that I needed. I felt very safe there. I will be going back there if ever I need to.

Pros: 1 Conveniently located near the Interstate. 2 One hour from New Orleans 3 Pretty decent places to eat nearby and even better places to eat only 15-20 minutes away. 4 Room and service was great Cons: 1 I did find some hair on the wall of the shower. 2 The breakfast was nasty. Bagels were as hard as stone and the orange juice was nasty as well. […] But then again, this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Overall, the stay was great. Hotel was nice...not the best I've stayed in. Great price. Not very spacious, kinda cramped feeling. Breakfast was not very good, not a nice selection. We stayed here because of price and location. Beds were insanely small for 2 grown adults to sleep in.

The hotel was nice. it had a good breakfast selection, so we could all get something we liked. There's only one tiny elevator for the entire hotel, which is weird. The pools is big and they have a hot tub. they provide extra towels. The gym is...well a gym. aint no way i'm using it on my vacation, but maybe that's your thing. We got a double queen bed […] suite with a fold out couch. Everyone had enough space to themselves. it had a kitchenette which i loved since i had kids with me. The bathroom was pretty good sized. There aren't enough plugs in the room for everything though. i think there is only one spare one. Free wifi though! yay free wifi! There are two tv's in the room. Pretty crappy quality, but two none-the-less. kids can watch Phineas and Ferb on their side and i can watch Modern Family on mine. The volume thing wasn't even an issue. Overall a really good stay. The hotel is right next to Interstate on Essen Lane. It was a great location for us. Our room had a little kitchenette, sofa bed, kind bed, and TV could be moved to watch in either area. Although overall the hotel was adequate to my needs, I had some frustrations during my stay. Within 20 minutes of getting into my room, a maid walked into my room without knocking (she didn't think anyone had checked in yet), the bathroom was clean enough but not spotless, I had wireless connection problems and they did not have actual cords so I couldn't […] access internet in my room, and perhaps the most frustrating- I did not get my wake-up call BOTH mornings I was there even though I told them the second time that I hadn't received it the day before. The location of this hotel is not good if you don't have a car. I had to walk through waist-height weeds and cross a large road that is not pedestrian-friendly to get to the nearby restaurants. But I would still recommend it as long as the person was aware of these issues, so they could make a decision of whether this hotel would suit their needs. Very pleased with this hotel. Cleanliness of the room, location, and hotel staff all meet my expectations. Definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel was relatively new, however there are some things that need to be corrected for them to have happy patrons. There was a leak under the sink that resulted in the carpet being wet in front of the sink. In addition, my wife found a large roach coming out of the drain. I would not like this in a older hotel, however I could possibly understand […] the challenges. These are very basic things that must be corrected or their business will deteriorate. Our toilet was backed-up when we first used it. There was no one on staff to fix it, so the lady at the front desk came to the room with a plunger. She tried once and then left the plunger with us to do it ourselves. Not once did she offer to move us. When asked she said she would check and get back with us and never did.
