For the price it was okay

Chose this hotel for proximity to furniture market and price. It was a serviceable hotel. The employees were nice and the rooms were clean. It is showing its age a little but for the price it was excellent.

Hotel was very clean, room was larger than most and had 2 queen beds. Also had a great shower. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. A very nice hotel and would stay there again and I also recommend it to others.

Clean and comfy room and nice staff. Nice to have reasonably strong wifi to watch movie. Great location for downtown WS. Breakfast was ok but terrible selection - barely continental.

Nice location right off of I-40, approx. 7 block walk to art district, popular restaurants, bars, etc. Free parking was a big plus as other hotels downtown have you pay to park. Nice workout room and jacuzzi! Would definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

Nice Economy Class Hotel----Rooms were nice---Bathroom could use updating but worked fine--Good Continental Breakfast-----Advertised Free valet Parking & Flat Screen HDTV which they did not have, but Parking Garage was just across street. Overall I would have no problem staying there again or recommending hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located in the downtown are of Winston Salem but parking for the hotel was not satisfactory. As much as it was free it was detached from the hotel in a multistory car park. As I arrived at night I felt very uncomfortable and would not recommend this location for a woman traveling alone. Got back to my room after dinner around 11:00pm having driven 10+ hours. Pulled the bed spread back and the sheets had not been changed from previous guest adventures (body fluids and stains). Called front desk and girl brought up a "pile" of unfolded sheets and handed them to me so I could make the bed. A note at check in time said there would be limited […] housekeeping due to the holidays. I guess that meant NO housekeeping. They dropped off several towels, but did not pick up the dirty ones or empty the trash or make the beds or sweep. The parking is in a public garage across the street....which is no problem except that the staff failed to explain to me and 3 other couples where it was. The hot tub was more like a warm tub. Tried to bring these problems to managements attention, but there wasn't a manager on site for the 3 days my family stayed. We will NOT return to this hotel on future visits to visit family. もっと読む

When we first checked in, we went up to our room and their was no tissues in the bathroom and poop on the toliet. It was very gross but they got us another room which was much nicer. I wanted a clean hotel that was close to the conference center, had a comfortable clean bed, all the major amenities, and had a decent breakfast included in the price (i.e. waffles, juice, cereal, sandwiches). I wanted this at an affordable rate I got exactly what I was looking for.

This hotel was great for my needs. Convient to bus transportation and near Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (the reason for my trip). Staff was very helpful and efficient. Room was very nice. The breakfast was nice, and fulling with lots of variety.

A quick, overnight stay. Online reservations went perfectly. Easy check-in. Clean and quiet room. Due to the brevity of my stay, the only negative I noticed was that the TV did not work, from either the remote or controls on the unit. Yes, it was plugged in. I thought it was going to be a lot more of a hotel due to the price and location downtown. Its a average room with less them helpful front desk service. The website implies all rooms have microwaves and fridges-and they do not. I requested one for my two day stay and finally received on the 2nd day in the afternoon after my second request. I have stayed here twice. Nice clean rooms and good service.

There was a fire alarm while in the hotel, I do understand you had no control but it did make things uncomfortable after that. Upon returning to the hotel for the evening my key would not allow me to get in the parking lot so I had to go back to the office to get my key restored. This was an excellent place to stay

Hotel staff were extremely courteous and professional. Room was large and comfy, and had microwave and refrigerator. Gym and hot tub and breakfast were ok, but for the price, this place was excellent. Everything within 5-10 minutes. Even parking lot across the street was not inconvenient. Will stay again!

False fire alarm in the middle of the night (a guest smoking in his room) and the staff had no idea how to turn it off. Parking is inconvenient, across the street. Otherwise, a nice hotel that is clean and has good amenities.

We had reserved two rooms requesting double beds, and were given one room with two doubles and one with king. When we entered our room with two double beds, we discovered it was already taken, and we had to move to another room (only king available). It was graduation weekend and very busy for all hotels. Great value for the money paid. We had the benefit of a convenient location downtown (walking distance to downtown bars and restaurants) at a fraction of the price of hotels in the center of downtown. Plus parking is free in an adjacent garage. Secure, and accomodated multiple vehicles in our road trip group.

very nice stay, beatiful room, clean comfortable. only down side is that parking garage is outside, down the street.

THE HOTEL STAY WAS FINE, HOWEVER THE PARKING GARAGE WAS NOT ACCESSABLE FOR MY VEHICHLE. I HAD LARGER PICK UP TRUCK AND IT DID NOT FIT IN THE PARKING GARAGE.

The location was great near everything in downtown winston-Salem. The front desk person was very helpful upon arrival with a speedy checl-in. The breakfast just ok the fruit wasn't the fresh. The continental bfast ended too soon. It should be available fully till @ least 10 a.m.

the only negative about this hotel is the location is in awkward location on a hidden one way street that's hard to find. otherwise the hotel was awesome. it was clean and a great price

Clean classy and helpful customer service. The room was very nice. With a soft king bed with soft well worn comfortable sheets. NOT those stiff new never get the starch out for 3 years sheet. I had a great night sleep. Horrible experience - no hot water, my family was put in two separate rooms rather than one room with 2 double beds. The shower leaked into the room and luggage got soaked. And there was no housekeeping service because of a holiday. What type of hotel gives the housekeeping staff off on a holiday??? Never stay there again...

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past two months. I would definitely choose this hotel again. Three blocks from an array of interesting downtown restaurants and galleries. Hotel is pleasant decor, comfortable beds and clean, up-to-date rooms, helpful staff. Reasonable rates.

I had a small incident during my stay when I was laying in bed I had one of the hotel workers walk in on my without knocking or acknowledging themselves as a hotel employee. I found out later that day that it was the maintanence guy who walked in on me using his key and not knocking. I was startled and very upset that this happened.

This hotel is located right off of Interstate 40 in NC. The check-in was quick and easy and I when I asked about parking I was told about their complimentary valet service that I was unaware of. This was a big help the next morning since I was busy trying to get ready and get going when I am not an early morning person.
