ホテル名がAdinaなのに日本語表記がメディナとなっていたので最初場所がわかりませんでした。しかし、通行人の方が親切に教えてくれたので助かりました。朝着いたので、荷物を預かってもらいました。徒歩１０分から１５分のところにショッピングセンターがあり、夕食にオージービーフを買い込んで部屋で焼いて食べました。レンジもトースターもフライパンも調理器具・食器も揃っていたので、朝・夕はスーパーで食材を買い、ワインは帰り道のリカーショップで１５００円くらいのを買って食べ、食費は安くてすみました。セントラル駅には無料のバス５５５のバス停もありますし、空港にも近く便利です。洗面所の掃除は雑でしたが、許せる範囲ないでした。

今回の家族旅行はパース・メルボルン・ホバートの観光後、シドニーに６日間滞在しました。シドニーには二十数年前居住していたことがあり、懐かしい想いに満ちていました。このホテルはセントラル駅のすぐそばにあり、各行動するに大変便利であり、近くにスーパーマーケットもあり十分満足しました。

シドニー滞在時は、よく利用します。キッチン付、洗濯・乾燥機付きなので、長期滞在には便利です。部屋の広さも１BRでしたが、大人３人で余裕でした。リビングルームにシングルベッドを１つ追加して宿泊しましたが、レースのカーテンしかなく、全面窓だったので、周囲のビルの明かりが差し込みすぎて眠れなかったです。カーテンほしいですね。駐車料金は、１泊AU$30で、出し入れ自由。

家族3人で5泊しました。部屋も広々としてとても気持ちがよかったです。キッチンも洗濯機もあったのでとても助かりました。場所もとても便利ですし、便利な割にはうるさくなくお勧めです。フロントの方も愛想はないですが、お願いをすれば気持ちよく対応して下さいましたよ。

家族５人（大人２人と子供３人）で利用しました。４人を超えるとどこの国に行っても、一部屋で泊まれるホテルが少なく、そんな中では大変良いホテルでした。部屋も結構きれいで立派なホテルです。２ベットルーム（ワイドダブル、ツイン）にエクストラベット１台。 シンク、コンロ、食器洗い機、レンジ＆オーブン、食器に調理器具も充実・・・食事等何でも高いオーストラリアでは、それほど食べない子供たちとの朝食等食事を部屋で簡単に取れるので、時間とお金の節約にバッチリ！！ 洗濯機もあって家族向けには本当に便利なホテルでした。 ロケーションも、チャイナタウン、シドニー中心部移動のモノレールの駅、セントラル駅等まで数分。スーパーも近くにあり、ダーリングハーバーやシドニータワー等の中心部までも徒歩１５分程度で、散策しながら楽しく移動できる距離で便利でした。シドニーのメインストリート、ジョージストリート沿いにあり、歩いてグルグル回ったあとも、迷うことがないのも魅力です。 冷蔵庫の温度調整が出来ずに、コーラが破裂したり、クローゼットのドアレールの動きが悪くメインテナンスを要求しましたが、結局帰るまで来なかった等ありましたが、 総じて満足できるホテルでした。 小さなジムとサウナも有り、プールも有りますが、プールは外なので、夏場以外は泳げないでしょう！！ 今回はキャンペーン料金で、価格も大満足でした。 ありがとうございました。 両替の話。通りにはあちこちに両替看板が・・・。コンビニ内にも両替があります。しかし、表示のレートと出てくる換金後の現金がどうしても一致しません。聞くとチャージは別だとのこと。私はオーストラリア以外の国で両替する時はサインに出ている表示レートは手数料込の両替レートと判断し、今迄そうしてきました。そして私の行ったどこの国でもレート通りの料金が戻ってきます。しかしオーストラリアでは違うのが当たり前！？行った時の国際為替レートが、1AUS＄＝79円くらい。表示レートが85円。50000円で戻ったお金が540AUS$・・・ということは92.5円！！アメリカドル並み。レシートを下さいと言っても、ＩＤカードかパスポートを見せろ！とのことで、持ってなかったので、その手数料等の詳細は不明。2か所で両替しましたが、大差なし。現地の人に聞くと、銀行でも別に手数料を取るとのこと。・・・最初のレートで上乗せしているのにさらにチャージとは考えられませんね・・・やはり地球上の孤島だからでしょうか？？ 私のお勧めは、クレジットカードキャッング等ＡＴＭでの現金の引き出し！！ […] ちなみに私はクレジットカードで500ＡＵＳ$を引きだしてみました。帰国後の請求金額は手数料、返済金利込みで39880円・・・1AUS$=79.8円！これが一番安いのでは。なんでも高いオーストラリア特に両替は注意！！ジュース1本2.95＄を高いレートで変えたドルで払えば、500ｍｌのジュースが250円を超えることに。。。(*_*)と参考まで！ もっと読む

全ては、ベッドの上で明らかに他人の皮膚の残骸を見つけたことが始まりでした。 最悪！ 我たちは、寝室で子供を眠かしつけながら一緒に夕食をしようと何人かの友人が来るのを持っていました。 午後11時ごろドアのノックに応じると警備員がいてまるで寄宿学校の生徒に対するような言い方で"この部屋に宿泊するものだけここに居てよい"と言いました。 そこには夕食を共にした責任感ある大人が集まっていたのであって、深夜のダンス・パーティーではないのに！ 結論は、誰にもここをお勧め出来ません！ 清掃がされていなかったことから、サービスの悪さに。。。ベッドに皮膚の残骸なんて、とっても不快！！！！！

Apart from the bed being short sheeted, a faulty electric jug, ( electric cable that fits into the jug) and taps (flick mixers) that are hard to turn off. We have had a wonderful weekend away and would glady stay at the Medina again when in Sydney. The staff at reception were great.

we had a top floor loft apartment and the only downside was the only bathroom being upstairs on the mezzanine floor but we were very comfortable and our son had a fold out couch in the lounge - this is very conveniently located for public transport and we couldn't fault the staff or the apartment and really enjoyed the pool.

Far exceeded my expectations. We had a corner room which was very light, sunny and very quiet due to the double glazing. Our room had everything necessary for a very comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable and the location-right at Central Station was a highlight. All transport at our finger tips. Will def stay again

Nice loft apartment that was booked for 2 adults & 2 children, however was only set-up for 2 adults on arrival. Sofa bed was quickly organised with additional blankets & towels, however the sofabed was very uncomfortable for the children but we were only staying for 4 days. Rooms nice and clean and good location next to train station but was quiet.

I stayed here three separate times in a one week in July 2012 so I have a very good idea of what you can expect in your visit. The hotel is located right next to the GR Central Train Station. This hotel is a converted Post Office which was built in 1915 so it has lot of class to it but it also located in one of the oldest parts of town. It is safe to walk around the hotel at night but there isn't much to do at night. The hotel does have a small exercise room with one set of free weights and various cardio machines. There is a very nice outdoor non-heated swimming pool and sitting area. There is a "hidden" upscale mall about four blocks away. It's strange to have such a nice mall in a developed older area without any parking area around it. Most people simply walk there or take the trolley. KEEP THIS IN MIND Almost all the streets near the hotel are filled with Asian style fast food places to eat and most people on the street are Asian. This means you will not get a typical "Aussie "experience by staying at this hotel. I didn't see any kids at this hotel, mostly business type people.
