このホテルの最も良い点は、ローマ広場のすぐ横にあることです。　重たい荷物を運んで橋を何度も渡ったり、狭い路地を歩いたりする必要が無い為、非常に助かります。　土地の狭いベネチアの為、多少お部屋は狭いかも知れませんが、不自由を感じる狭さではありません。　スタッフは皆親切で、色々な観光の相談にものってくれます。　また、非常に手入れの行き届いた裏庭があり、素敵な雰囲気で朝食を楽しめます。

マルコポーロ空港からシャトルバスでローマ広場に着くと、すぐ前にホテルの正面玄関とネオンが見えた。大きなスーツケースでの移動は楽で、バスの発着場すぐなので、他の町にも行きやすい。2泊して、次の町に行ってまたこのホテルに宿泊したが、その間、スーツケースを預かってもらった。朝食は、生ハム、卵、ヨーグルト、蜂蜜、いくつかの種類のパンや飲み物、これだけあるとランチは抜いても大丈夫。部屋はフロントから少し離れた３階の部屋で、エレベーターはない。フロントの人やスタッフは皆親切で、日本人にも慣れている。 今回初めてエキスぺデイアにお願いしたが（今まで旅行社経由していたので）フライトもホテルもよく、リーズナブルな料金で、とても満足できた。 次回も必ずお願いするつもりだ。

何といってもローマ広場の運河沿いにあり、レンタカーでも、バスでも、鉄道でも、荷物を持っての移動に苦労しなくて良い。橋を渡ればヴェネツィア本島。建物は古いが部屋のrenovationで清潔で快適。但しsingle roomはバスタブが無くシャワーのみ。エレベーターが狭い。 無料でWiFiとguest用PC有り（XPで日本語表示できない）。タイミング合えばMuranoへの無料ツアーに参加できる。

ローマ広場のすぐそば（バス乗り場から見える）。今回はクルーズ前に2泊した。パヴォット乗り場も近く、どこに行くにも良い立地。ホテルはこじんまりとしているが雰囲気・従業員（フレンドリー）とも非常に感じが良い。好感のもてるホテルでした。

家族３名で１室（トリプルルーム）に泊まりましたが、部屋は十分広くて快適でした。地上階の部屋で中庭に面しており、朝食は部屋と中庭の間のオープンテラスで摂って、ゆったりと朝の時間を過ごすことができました。ただし、バスでローマ広場に到着する人は問題ないですが、電車でサンタルチア駅に到着する人は、注意が必要です。サンタルチア駅から階段上の橋を２回渡らないといけないのですが、最初の橋はほとんどが階段状になっていて、スーツケースを持って歩くのが、かなり大変でした。帰りになって気がついたのですが、水上タクシーでホテルまで行ってもらうか、ヴァポレットで駅前の乗り場から隣りのローマ広場まで乗れば、２つ目のとっても小さな橋を渡るだけで済みますよ。

ベネチア本島のバスターミナルの目の前ですごく分かり易い。ベネチア本島なので仕方ないかも知れませんが、部屋が狭いのと、宿泊した部屋の問題かもしれませんが、別館のような所で、エレベータが無く荷物を階段で運ばなくてはならない（初日は、ポーターが運んでくれますが）。しかも、部屋を始め階段も全てオートロックなので、鍵を持たずに外室すると、カウンターに行かないと部屋まで戻れない。

ベニス港からのクルーズに参加するために、このホテルを選びました。ローマ広場の直ぐ近くで、港までのピープル・ムーバー駅にも近く便利です。また、バス・ターミナルの近くでありながら非常に静かな環境にあります。ホテルのレセプション・スタッフは親切で温かみを感じさせる対応でした。ただ、荷物を部屋に運んでくれるポーターは一人でふたつの荷物をもって狭い階段を上るという事もありますが、スーツケースを階段にぶつけても気にせず、また、自分の間違いで別な建物の階段に行ったにも関わらず、不愉快な対応でした。クルーズの前にベニスの街を3日間歩きましたが、リアルト橋近辺やサン・マルコ近辺を動き回るのには一寸遠い位置にあります。

Loved this hotel. Was so convenient to piazzaleroma and the cruise ship people mover. Only one bridge to go up and two to go down. We got ther around 9:00am and they already had our room assigned. Previous guests had checked out and it was being cleaned so they said we could wait. We were in the room by 10:00 so we didn't have to leave our bags in the […] lobby -- but even if we had, they were well watched. Use of the printer in the lobby is free which was a surprise. Our room overlooked a lovely garden so it was noisy during the day when the windows were open but closing the windows cut out the noise. The Best Western Olimpia was the perfect hotel for our 3 days in Venice before a cruise. We took a bus from the airport (20 minutes) to Piazzale Roma and could see the hotel from there. Stayed extra nights before a cruise and very glad we did. The hotel is right near the bus loop and very easy to get to. Good location to explore Venice from. Extremely convenient hotel. Our room was very large and even had a sitting room. Hotel staff was excellent and very friendly. The location was ideal for getting around Venice. The hotel was very close to the people mover, the bus station,canal and there seemed to be a restatuant about every 50 feet.

We arrived by bus and were easily able to locate the hotel which is in a great position, very close to Piazzale Roma but its location not spoiled in the slightest by it's proximity […] to the bus station. It's location meant that access to all of the major Vaporetto routes was only a few minute's walk away as well as being moments from strolling along the Grand Canal. We were able to check in and leave our baggage safely until the room was ready; the room itself was large, clean, stylish and comfortable and was thoroughly cleaned everyday by great staff. The reception and breakfast room staff were excellent, without exception; helpful, friendly and giving the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and served between 7-10.30 which meant it catered for both early birds and those having a more leisurely stay. We checked out on Valentine's Day and were given a gift of heart-shaped chocolates which was a nice touch. In all it was a great value place to stay and really made for a lovely experience in Venice. Great location! We took a local city bus at airport to city square drop-off point, and hotel was right there! We walked to it! And just a short, one-block walk to the "People Mover" that took us to the cruise ship. The hotel was closely located to the bus terminal and train station, which was perfect for our trip. The hotel was under renovation when we were there. This was a very fine hotel of its class. The staffs' English was very good, and they were very helpful. My room was in an annex to the hotel which did not have an elevator, but this was no problem for me, and the bellman helped bring my bags up stairs. The breakfast was a high point because they had scrambled eggs and a European style bacon on the menu. […] The location is only a short walk from the St. Lucia train station, and can be easily walked to. I wanted to visit the Church of St. Nicolas on the island of Lido. Looking at the map, it seemed that it would be impossible without a car. When I asked at the desk, they were able to give clear instructions on how to take the waterbus over to the island. The cab ride to the church was only 7.80 euros. It was fixed. There is a 20 euro 12-hour pass for the waterbus, and a person may want to consider that if one is moving around Venice. Finally, the downer was the canal bridge to the east of the train station. It does not have a ramp structure, and even though the steps are only 4-5 inches high, one has to carry one's bags up the bridge. Going down, with the small steps is no problem. Watch out for the folks who want to "help" you with your bags. They don't accept "no" easily. If they carry your bag, expect to be hounded by them for a tip. This hotel offers old world charm. Lovely decor, relatively large guest rooms, including bathroom (usually they are very small in Italy) very nice breakfast, great service, super location close to bus/train /water taxi terminals. All at a great price. A true find. We loved it.

The location is great as it's close to the bus depot where one can catch a bus to the airport after 5 am. Unfortunately, we had to go to the airport at 4 am so we had to hire a taxi which cost 50 euros.
