ザ アラートン ホテル オン マグニフィセント マイル (The Allerton Hotel on Magnificent Mile)格安予約

以下は私の個人的な体験で、もっと良い体験をされた方・その逆もあるかと思います。それを踏まえてお読みください。 ホテル自体は2008年にリニューアルを済ませ、壁紙などの状態は清潔でした。しかし部屋でのインターネットは有料（結構高い）で、ロビーでのみ無料Ｗｉｆｉが使用可でした。部屋には「ミニバー」と称する超高価な飲み物を売るマシンが備え付けてあるだけで、冷蔵庫はなく、「中に入っているものを出して自分のものを入れると＄25のチャージが発生する」という警告が。その上、「冷蔵庫を借りたい」というとこれも＄25とのこと。馬鹿らしいのでやめましたし、マシンには触れませんでした。300ｍｌのオレンジジュース＄8とか、昔の日本の温泉旅館か？と思いました。湯沸かしポットもコーヒーメーカーもなく（アメリカでは通 […] 常どちらかを備えています）、リクエストしたところ、そういう設備はない、欲しかったら湯を2階のキッチンまで取りに来いと言われました。電話代も、ローカルコールは無料であることも多いアメリカで、一本あたり基本料金+地域外は時間当たりチャージが加算、国際電話は最初の一分が目の飛び出るような価格で、それ+1分当たり追加料金でした。場所はミシガンアベニュー沿いで、ニーマンマーカスの次のブロックなので申し分ありません。英国航空のＣＡや機長が滞在する宿のようです。朝は一定時間ロビーで無料のコーヒーサービスがありました。10階滞在でしたが、窓はあるものの、30センチ先は隣のビル、昼間でもずっとうす暗く、アメリカのホテルでは今までで最も狭いホテルでした。バスタブもなく、シャワーだけ。インターネットも使用しない、コーヒー・紅茶も飲まない、電話も使わない、帰ってきて寝るだけという方にはロケーション的には良いでしょう。 もっと読む

フロントも客室もとってもモダンでおしゃれなホテルでした。 地下鉄シカゴ駅の近くで、ホテルの前は高級ブランドからファストファッションのお店などが立ち並び、もちろんレストランも徒歩圏内。 文句なしの立地でした。 街並もとってもきれいで最高の旅行となりました。

確か30年前泊ったホテルだ。 内装はきれいになって満足です。 レストランの朝食も、リーズナブルな値段で満足でした。 ただ、ホテル内には土産物屋などないのでやや困る場合もあるかもしれない。 またあとで気がついたのだが、部屋でお湯が沸かせなっかった。頼めば持ってくるのでしょうが、備え付けるべきでしょう。

The stay was good, the personnel was terrific. However, I was placed in a room that has water pipes running through it (517) and there was a continuous roar day and night. I sleep sound so it was OK, and they did offer to move me but I didn't have the time or energy, so I was compensated. So all in all a terrific hotel, great location. Nice furnishings […] and linens. This is the second time I've stayed at the Allerton and unfortunately this experience was not a great one. Breakfast was dry and over-cooked and somewhat pricey - indeed once the server had poured you a coffee and an orange juice you almost felt obliged to go for the buffet as ordering anything a la carte would see costs rocket above the buffet price. […] The need to use two lifts to get to the rooms is just a quirk of the architecture but with the time required to wait for the lifts it did get somewhat tiresome. The room was very cleanly. The hotel has an easy to understand layout (ice machine location, gym, reception, bar, stairs and elevator). The concierge was very nice and professional, and willing to help with whatever questions I had. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Michigan Ave, only block(s) from Hancock Tower, Navy Pier, and Millenium […] Park. Even when my stay with The Allerton Hotel had ended, the concierge still offered to hold our bags while we finished site seeing. Great location yet would not consider it 4 star as it was rated. window was cracked and covered with duct tape, Bed was hard as a rock, room was tiny. Once again location was great,suited our locational needs.

Everything was awesome! The location is fantastic. This hotel was incredible-staff was superb and could not have asked for a better location to Tiffany, The Disney Store, pizza joints etc. Wi-Fi was not included in the hotel price so there was free wi-fi on the 2nd floor near the bar/restaurant. The Allerton was very nice and the rooms are as expected for such an old building. I enjoyed that the banquet rooms on the 23rd were open and not being used for our stay so we could look out on Chicago. nice hotel, very clean, good location

This hotel is conveniently located on the Magnificent Mile, has a friendly staff, nice accomodations, free fitness facilities, and a comfortable feel. I would recommend it for business or pleasure trips.

It was a great stay in allergen hotel, the stuff was really friendly and the place of it is nearby and next to all shopping centers .. it is one of the best

I was attending an event at Navy Pier, the location was perfect and was close to restaurants and other attractions in the Near North Side and Downtown. The room and the hotel itself were tiny, low ceilings, tight hallways. My room felt like a closet. Bed was comfy, bathroom was nice, but water pressure and hot water availability were spotty. Room was […] clean and well-maintained. It worked well for me, traveling alone on a short trip, but I couldn't imagine going there with my wife or child. Very few free amenities. Wireless internet was slow. They offered 500 Kb/s, 1Mb/s and 1.5 Mb/s options, but the 1Mb/s option seemed no faster than the 500Kb/s setting and it was painfully slow for anything other than just checking e-mail. I was able to get a pretty good rate for the room, so I can't complain too much, it met my needs for my trip. Stayed one night to attend a charitable event at the Merchandise Mart. It was the perfect locale to shop the Magnificent Mile and a quick taxi ride to the Mart. Bed was a little hard, not firm, but this wouldn't keep us from coming back. We loved the decor and the bar right downstairs!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was small but beautiful and comfortable. We had an old mattress--the springs could be felt however you moved. I am sure that they are in the process of replacing them--our friends stayed down the hall and they did not have the same problem.

Location was perfect! Easy to get in and out of. Gino's East and Corner bakery a block away. Staff was super friendly and attentive but the rooms "looked" clean but didn't really seem clean. Remote had a good layer of dust, grim between the buttons and there was no soap or q-tips in the restroom. If I return I will make sure I have clorax wipes, q-tips […] and hand soap. Right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Close to CTA Red Line . Have stayed here in the past and everything has been nicely updated. Will gladly stay here again

Very close to where we needed to go for personal reasons. Slightly small room, but had everything needed. Plan for parking issues in public parking if you drive into town. Very active city with plenty to do. Many non name brand resturants and lots to do within easy walking. May be back another time to spend more time.

Love this hotel as it is easy to access the red line Ltrain plus it is close to all the Mag mile shopping; beds are comfy, rooms a little tight so can't have alot of luggage; good breakfast, and nice bar open after 4pm; I loved that I could be in the middle of shopping on the Mag mile and get back to my room with ease.

very comfortable and satisfied. Chicago is the heck of a town. Highlight of our visit was the Institute of Art. Nearby public transportation made moving aroung easy and affordable.

Sopping and great and great food within walking distance. Will stay here again!

Overall, the hotel had good service, refined quality and great location. However, the room was very small for the use of four people in twin beds and bathroom maintenance/repairs were lacking.

The room was very small, everything was ala-carte. There was no hotel parking other than the garage next door that charged $50.00. The employees were very kind and accomadating, but for the price, the hotel it was not worth it.

we walked to everywhere we wanted to see besides the Wicker Park neighborhood. Lake Shore Drive is just a few blocks away and the high rise views are amazing! the hotel was very sweet and upgraded our room to a city view with a king bed for free! the check in area and bar/dining room are contemporary, low key, and opens at 4 to start you off the night. […] concierge was super friendly. there's also a convenient check in kiosk at the concierge area so you don't have to worry about the lines at the airport. everything about this hotel was all about convenience! もっと読む

Beautiful and ellegant hotel right in the middle of everything in Chicago, great staff, gorgeouos rooms. Make sure you pay your parking fee at check-out otherwise valet will send you back (2nd floor)

great hotel, very very clean, loved the location, would stay again there. staff very helpful.

My wife and I stayed two nights, using only CTA transportation in the city. There were numerous bus stops within blocks, which conveniently took us train stations and anywhere we needed to go. The Hotel was great! The only complaint I would have is parking at the hotel is too expensive. The parking is $50.00 a night and for that reason I wouldn't want to stay there again!

Great location!! Parking fees were excessive even for mag mile. Normally parking is charged through 6pm the next day after check in, not here. They go strictly by the the hour. Unusual for area as we've stayed in over 20 different hotels in this area before. No coffee pot in room. Smallest room we've ever had for 4 star hotel.
